So at this time i will be running 2 tents. Well, finally I solved all problems, everything seems to be going well. Girls started flowering, responded well to LST and nutriens. Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grows First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. Update 2017-08-20. These girls are much slower to germinate and to start growing than the other 6 girls I started at the same time. One of the germinated seeds split in half, so I had to take a new seed and germinate it. It took 2 days. It was just a smal taproots after germination with this strain as opposed to my Fastbuds cbd. The girls woke up after their beauty sleep, the leaves are always a bit down after 6 h of darkness, but they will stretch now when the HPS lamp starts. Everything looks good and I keep trying to tuck the leaves so they get the maximum amount of light where needed. Day 95 / FL day 15, Gave both plants a heavy defoliation to allow light into all bud sites. I think I'm pushing my luck with the amount of stress I've been giving these plants. But I also think they can take it. Only time will tell. Day 98 / FL day 18, Plants have recovered well after heavy defoliation. Lots of new leaf growth. Hopefully this will help to increase nug size. Day 101 / FL day 21, Topped dressed plants with a 3/4 inch layer of living soil for a little bit of extra nutrients. Waiting until week 5 of flower to add another round of Gaia Green dry amendments.

Week 7 Flower We've finally started flush 💦 on Day 43. I still run EM1 at 1ml/ltr as it goes a long way once activated/stretched. It's always going to be a benefit to keep any microbes you can in the coco. You can also use Mammoth P throughout flush, but due to its price I just stick to EM1 in flush. There's plenty of other microbes that can be used too. I flush around twice the pots' volume at 6pH. But before flooding the pot I slowly pour water through the centre of the pot, around the stem, in order to take a true reading of the ppm and pH of the run off. If the ppm/ec reads a lot higher than your average feeding throughout bloom, then there's been issues such as a lockout, incorrect pH, over feeding etc. This wasn't the case, as this girls' was at the right level. If the pH is too high or low, I adjust the pH of the rest of the water that'll be flushed to try to fix it. Again, this wasn't the case with this girl as she had a perfect pH 👌👍 Just before all of the water has gone through the pot, I take one last reading from her last bit of run off. The ppm should be down to no more than 100ppm for the first flush (+starting ppm of water if using tap water). After the first flush the ppm value of the run off will quickly go all the way down to 0, or at least below 50ppm (+tap water ppm). I use tap water that is between 150-190ppm, but I'm looking to switch to RO as soon as I can. I still get a very good flush, but I think using RO water will be the next step in getting a more thorough flush as it won't contain even the small amount of nutrients and metals that tap water contains (along with any harmful chemicals). Always remember to bubble or let the water sit for 24-48hrs before feeding to your plants. That goes for all feedings in every stage of growth if using tap water. Because I keep fairly low temps in the Den she's starting to turn a beautiful dark purple. Her buds are still swelling and smelling like a nice gassy OG, with hints of citrus/tropical fruits. I'm really looking forward to taking this girl down, but after at least another week! Thanks for following and happy growing! 🐺

This stuff has taken an age to dry! I think it was a little too cool in the tent. ah well. Its currently in jars curing, so havent had chance to try it out and i think im prepared to give it a full 6 weeks of cure. Results wise, little disappointed by the yield, only 4oz but it was a micro grow - I think perhaps although i didnt notice it at the time, the heatwave fortnight i had during flower may have had something to do with the lack of growth - but still the quality of the buds is high, plenty of trichomes and buds are really dense. As its still in cure its still a bit hay-smell as the chlorophyll continues to work its way out but there are lovely undertones of gas and fruit - (cherry?) Will check back in with a smoke report in a few weeks but wanted to get a couple of vids of the buds (yes i dont trim them like the pros, i dont care :p )

Week 7 was on auto pilot until I realized it was 1 more plant to transplant. Since I got to transplant(work), every plant went to the hair salon(LST, Defoli, Fiming). My first time and I must admit I regret it. 😅 my plants look naked, I felt bad so I added Kelp into the NUTE line up....... I have no idea what I'm doing but I'm doing it at 150mph.

Good morning little miss sunshine. Using heatmat at 24°C for the first week. Light Power: 40% Soil in the final pot: I use 80% Dope Soil - florganics & 20 % garden compost. The soil was used by two grow sessions before. In the last one I added the compost. For this grow I added a 1/2 cup Dolomite limestone in the middle layer of the earth. To prevent Ca, Mg deficiency. Covered with 5cm old mulch. Watering with 2,5L tapwater and let it flow DAY 6 Cover open and she can feel the first breeze. DAY 7 Welcome in the final 25L pot .

Day 28 - Found some early nute burn on the lower leaves of Gelato, I think i'm fertigating too little and the salts in the coco is rising. From now I'm going to give 2L of water two times per day in order to re-clean the medium with much more run off.

Day 1- 08/04/22 14:30pm Germination Time!!!!! Here we have 21 wonderful seeds from the amazing fastbuds!!!! Placed in a glass of water for 18-20hours!!! So excited!!!! - Day 2-09/04/22 seeds have been placed on a wet paper towel!!!!! - Day 3-10/04/22 getting the pots filled with soil ready for planting tonight or tomorrow!!!!! - Day 4-11/04/22 most of the seeds had popped last night so I planted most of them and the rest I planted this morning!!! 1 seed out of the 21 didn’t pop so germinating another to make it back up to 21!!!! So there all in the tent except 1!!!! - Day 5-12/04/22 one has come through so far and should be planting the last seed tonight!!!! A few more should pop out by tomorrow!!!! - Day 6-13/04/22 14 out of the 21 have come out so far!!!! - Day 7-14/04/22. 19 of the 21 have come through!! I think one isn’t going to come through so I’m germinating another seed to replace it and if the other one doesn’t come through tomorrow I’ll germinating another one to replace that Aswell!!!.

not all days have been good for her, but the last week has been very good, she has a lot of time left before the finish line, I don't know how it will go on, but for now it is the most beautiful plant I have ever seen :) update in 2-3 weeks :)

Borked the time tracking on the previous diary weeks, both are still going strong. Grapefruit is developing a lot of new internode fan leaves, but she's too late into bloom now to defoliate etc. and don't want to stress the GG XL either. Latest GG XL photos are in Week 5. Microgreens are also coming up fast. 17/07: Forgot to take Day 42 photos for both girls, my apologies as my wrists have been giving me hell but will get some more up soon. I've been keeping with the same watering schedule, some bud sites are being shaded by fan leaves so I'm trying to VERY carefully bend them down to prop up the little bud sites better. I've rubbed my fingers on some of the fan leaves to get rid of whatever weird white dust is ending up on my leaves, probably just debris from the air and the fan might need a cleaning soon but holy shit my fingers smell strong like Pomegranate and fruits. It's getting quite addictive to smell the bud sites and rub that resin of her fan leaves, I wish I could describe it better but damn it smells good. If the resin is any indication of the final smoke I know that the Grapefruit is gonna be dank. Can't wait till drying + harvest time :)) 18/07: Plucked off some lower burnt leaves that were really old, snipped off two more big fan leaves shading new bud sites and removed the stumps from old leaves rather making those closely cut down stubs instead so no bug invaders can get a free home. :P Humidity has been ridiculously high today >~65% and dropping now in the evening after the rain has stopped to <~60%, I added some Sodium Bicarbonate in plastic jars around the tent to help pull out water from the air. (18/07: Seems to be helping, I'm seeing about a ~2-5% drop overnight and this morning, usually the humidity in the morning before+after rain is ~60-65%) 20/07: The paper ref regarding RH and Bicarb. of Soda: W.-Y. Kuu et al. / International Journal of Pharmaceutics 166 (1998) 167–175 / PII: S0378-5173(98)00049-0 - I don't know how or why but keeping temps at ~21-23C drops the RH down to a stable mid-low 50's range. Thank fuck now I don't have to drop tonnes of money on a huge dehumidifier... Occam's razor baby :) 21/07: Had to move the light, fan, carbon filter and literally everything. Some minor shit for the cover broke on top of the CaCl -RH% and the bicarb got knocked over. Wiped, sprayed down and cleaned out the fan filter as well. What a fucking start to the day... 31/07: GG XL is in Week 7 now, so getting well into flower, growing at an exponential rate and starting to give off a very subtle smell, Grapefruit smells quite noticeable now too. 03/08: GG XL ending week 7, getting massive. ~77-78CM now. Had to defoliate the Grapefruit since leaf miners were still assaulting her, hopefully this helps get more light and airflow into the bud sites, been having humidity issues but can't do much.
