Hi Growmies, I feel I had a root issue, may have even been root rod. So as I saw a few of the very deeply submerged roots turning brownish and decay, I decided to generously cut away the affected areas and cleaned everything with hydrogen peroxide as good as I could and then properly rinsed the whole system. It seems, however, like she has started a whole new set of roots that started to submerge after I started feeding the orca from plant success (can be seen in the video below). Can highly recommend this product! She has also not show any signs of stress due the suspected root issues. Other than that she is a super pretty indica lady :) almost crazy how symmetrical she is. I have trained all main colas horizontally until the canopy had evenly opened up. Now I will let her grow towards the scrog and depending on her stretch, I will flip her at some point towards the middle or end of next week. beginning of week 5 of lowering

Today: 14.18 hours of light 100.4 °F 58%Rh 1 million of mosquitos I've spent this hot week training these two plants trying to keep them the lower as possible since the two main buds have reached the roof (7.87 ft tall). Cookies Gelato is about 9.50 ft tall. I've applied white plastic net all around the pergola to give them some shade in order to slow down the metabolism. These plants are giant and there is no more space to move around. Asparagus stalks are well formed so this is, hopefully, the last preflowering week. Cookies is hungry and some bottom fan leaves start to show chlorosis but the top/mid canopy is plenty of natural nitrogen. During these last weeks I've watered them with 4-5 gallons each, leaving the soil to dry for 2/3 days, they seem to love this scheme. Also, the fact of not having pluck away even a leaf made these plants big and extremely vigorous. Tomorrow I will create a roof with clear plastic rolls as the nighttime humidity begins to increase and some summer thunderstorms are on the horizon.

Una semana bastante tranquila. Ni bichos ni carencias preocupantes, todo en orden. Así empezaba la semana si, no se veía nada hasta que ..... Y así se termina con todas mis ilusiones , visto lo visto no me arriesgo a perder mucho más y aun faltándoles bien bien 15-20 dias voy a cortar . Prefiero tricomas cristalinos y poca cantidad a tener que deshacerme de la mitad por la botritis.

Pasamos a 12/12 el 1ero de sept, todas están hermosas, esperemos a ver cuanto se estiran para hacerle su defoliacion y pronto nos llegan juguetes de Grotek, por ahora el suelto está abonado lo suficiente para su preflora 😏

The girls are starting to pack on some weight. I'm still learning so it feels like I will kill them at any moment but I can see that isn't the case so far. Here is to making it another week <3
