This week I started feeding my plant with an ec between 0.6-0.8. I also lowered my lamp so they get more light and I topped the plants and started lst.

February 14, 2019 update: I rearranged the plants to get better airflow. In the video I mentioned that I thought I saw what might be spider mites. After closer inspection, I don't think its spider mites but more likely a combination of left over damage from the fungus gnats that came in with my wife's plant a few weeks ago (now gone) as well as ph fluctuations. But I like getting airflow on the plants themselves anyway, I just wish the oscillation worked on the fan I have now. I'll buy a new fan or two with oscillation soon. Also I failed to mention it in the video but there is also a ceiling fan blowing down on the plants. Overall, I'm very happy. The DinaMed CBD+ has taken the lead in the bud development category, Nice fat buds that are very dense. Sticky and stinky as hell too. She is supposed to be somewhere in the teens for CBD percentage and less than 1% THC. I'm hoping she either comes in below 0.3% or has well over 1%. I'm allowed to submit for testing 3 weeks before harvest. I'm going to cut a mid level branch and submit for testing next weekend. My other DinaFem strain, Critical +, is doing great too! She's in the lead with the most trichome development. Her buds are coming along great also! Not super fat, at least not yet, but great shape, color, density and have I mentioned the trichome development yet? 👍 This one is supposed to have mild CBD, low single digits, but high THC. I'm looking forward to smoking this one! Next up I'll talk about my Cream & Cheese CBD+ from Seedsman. She's in the lead with just overall looking awesome!!! The buds are long and super healthy looking with tons of leaves along the branches and I've defoliated a few times. The remaining leaves don't seem to be blocking much because most branches are bent over due to the weight of the buds! She is supposed to be in the 20's with BOTH THC and CBD. I'm looking forward to smoking this one also! 💪 That leaves the 3 Cherry Hemp plants. They are the smallest 3 plants in the room, but are all looking very good as well. They look like they are in the lead with possibly being ready to harvest earliest. I'm seeing the most amount of darkened and curled in hairs on these 3. The largest/oldest of the 3 is starting to show fading on the leaves. She may be ready in the next week or two. I'm waiting to start seeing some amber trichomes, so far they are still all white. These are supposed to be around 16% CBD and less than 0.3% THC. I'll be taking these in for testing soon and will be using these strictly for making CBD products - Salves, Oils, Capsules, etc... I'll keep you posted on this. This week I fed MegaCrop and Cal-Mag Pro (both by Greenleaf Nutrients). I fed according to their feeding schedule for late bloom. I think I'm going to stick with Greenleaf Nutrients for the duration of this grow rather than changing it up as I have been. Its super easy stuff to work with. 👍

Jan 25th - both photos are from last nite (24th) Water and Nutrients are now Max’d and will be for the next 3 feeds before tapering off towards a flush, end of week 9 - pics tonight of the skinny-assed Sativa leaves in and around the plants crown. -reined-in some of the taller branches by affixing them back onto the fabric pot. Pulling them down slightly. Jan 26, - raised the lights a couple of inches. Trying to keep top-leaf temps under the Room temp by at least a degree ~ 1.5 avg -seems that the blossoms have responded to all the food and water. Funky Citrus for sure. - R.H. dropped again ~ 50% - 3 tablespoons Molasses added for tonight’s feast. day 5 since last nutes *** just an observation; I’m either just at the right time in Flower, (week 6 of 11-13) or increasing the Ocean Magic content 3x has HAD a huge impact on the Bud development & Terpene population. There are Crystals galore on the sugar leaves and bud surfaces. 2ml/L on their Bottles product Label vs 8ml/L on the G.P. Nutrition Calculator, are each company recommendations on how to use the product... ? ! I’ve made the move to 8ml/L in the last 3 feeds. 30th Jan - big growth in the actual blossoms and hairs. The Left plant has flowers that have begun to wrap around the branches and join the other buds above and below. The stretch in the L plant had drastically slowed and the R plant is catching-up nicely ~ 7-10 days behind. 31st - top dressing the pot(s) tonight, ahead of their next feed. Quite a “settling” of the top surface since the first waterings. And now that they are getting some serious water (usually over a 3-4 hour period) there is room for ~ 2” soil, and another inch of Sand. Everything else has been Max’d, might as well include the playground !! - retained some of the original potting mixture, minus perlite & shrimp compost... that goes on tonight, 31st. ** ha, should be fun with all of the Stakes in the soil... focus, pic to follow Feb 1 - 16 Litre feeding tonight, to send the Ladies into the 2nd half of Flower. Planning & Maintenance is all I am thinking is left to do. Between the lines till 2nd week March ... -will try and get an image tonight showing the terpene explosion and changes happening on the plants - small increase in Molasses took TDS to 1370. No higher from here on in.

Harvested a week early because of bud rot caused by calcium deficiency. I did a triple wash with hydrogen peroxide, baking soda and plain water to rinse. Note for future Coco needs a lot of calcium and magnesium. With constant drip system you need way less nutrients in solution. Check PH if you use calcium sulfate or silica!!! Once cured the weed has a good nutty smell with a little berry. It’s not very resinous, it has a good mind numbing effect but doesn’t lost more than one hour for 3/4 puffs, this is because of early harvest for sure because my previous crop was lot more potent.

I haven’t been able to keep up with my diary as much as I would have liked to. Through week 6 a lot of pistils started to make a name for themselves. I defoliated when I watered them but was very worried I would lower my yield since they are autos and photos. The beginning of week 7 is when zkittles started to suck up tons of water! She also started to have her branches stretch up, I don’t know if this is normal or if she’s trying to tell me something. The following days is when the rest of the plants started to suck up a good amount of water fast too. I’ve been watering every other day one day with bloom nutrients the next with just ph’d water.

The first week of flowering went well, no defects or anything. I put up a second trellis with small compartments. And a dehumidifier to keep the humidity between 50% and 60% I have also started the flowering nutrition , including the New 'powerbuds' from plagron. Does anyone happen to have any experience with that? Now it is waiting for the plant to stop stretching. Around day 20 I will defoliate the plants one more time

SUNDAY 5/19: I accidentally left my UV timer in the "ON" position all night and half of the next day...fearing sudden death, I have moved everybody that was almost ready into the dark tent, including the two Candesias that had already been flushed twice, and will start harvesting them tomorrow..maximum UVB stress for about 20 hours...if it works out that they are even more potent than expected without turning brown overnight, I'll claim it was "intentional," and purport it as an "advanced technique" 😉 MONDAY: The big one (Candesia #2) still looks fine after the mega-UVB incident, so she's still sitting in the dark tent. I flipped on the green light and went into the tent for a sniff test on everybody. #2 smells more like an Amnesia than a Candy Cane. Ima kill her tomorrow and let her hang dry. The small one with polyploidy (Candesia #1) in the dark tent, also looked fine, but to keep my workload smaller tomorrow, I went ahead and harvested her today. She smells and looks more Amnesia. She was wet-trimmed and is in a drying basket. The other two (and the mystery plant) are still in the big tent under lights. I will probably start flushing them tomorrow..but maybe they will just get watered..kinda slow to cloudy all the way up. TUESDAY: I harvested Candesia #2 today and hung her to dry in the dark tent. She got more of the Candy Cane genetics, but her aroma is special. Candesia #3 got flushed for the first time today and moved directly below the UVB. I lowered the lights by several inches and increased the lights to 20/4 for their last week in the "sunshine." WEDNESDAY: I took a few photos today of the living after trimming a few harvested plants. The high temp in the tent is now just 82f, and it drops to 68-70f while it's dark I added some 450nm blue panels to try and "winterize" the environment a little more. Candesia #3 has the aroma of Candy Cane, but is really kind of a unique color palette,..not like the Amnesia or Candy Cane parents. The mystery plant is definitely a Candesia.. the aroma and bud color/shape is unmistakably that of her Amnesia Auto mother. She's Candesia #4..also known as "Pipsqueak", due to her diminutive stature. THURSDAY: Today I realized that a plant I thought was a Candy Cane is actually a Candesia! She's now known as Candesia #5...she's the one that I had to remove the main stalk which had already FIM quadrupled..butchered...sad day. She's fattened up a little bit, but is still kinda puny. However, she's more resinous than any of the other 4.👍 FRIDAY: I'd say they've got about an average of 20-25% amber trichs now..second flush tomorrow.😀 SATURDAY: I flushed them for the last time today with a few gallons of ph'd spring water only. I took some photos, and it will likely be their last photo session until they've been harvested. I'm seeing a lot of UV damage to the leaves from the 20 hour blast I accidentally gave them. They'll be fine, but it's just gonna make the trim job a little harder.

06/04/23 Day 50 I'm quite happy despite the beginnings and doubts. For sure I did well to not cut the unexpected plant that germinated within the clay and get out close to the normal place with her sibling! 08/04/2023 I begin to lower the EC to 1.3, 75% light. I started with GHE Ripen.
