Week 11: Wow such a busy week i'm sorry i am late on this one. Loads of humidity with all the new growth there is so much more plant transpiring and its has really drove my humidity up. So what i am doing is pruning stems and leafs that i don't think will mature in time and this should also help to limit the humidity i will have once things start to set heavily I want to harvest and not have to fight mold. But this aggressive pruning i think might be limiting my harvest. I might have to invest in a dehumidifier. Pictures will be updated and added later. With all the mulching i've done its really helped lessen my work load as i do not have to water as often. Not much to write about here. Life has been busy and the plants are just stretching and growing every day. I have raised my lights so often these past few weeks.

this week I was a lil happy because I pollinate my C4matic with a Male pink kush the feminizing spray tiresias mist didn't work the way I thought it would. thank God I had a Male coming up in my outdoor garden...I can already see seeds a little more than I expected, for some reason I only wanted to pollinate 1 bud but got seeds on the main and a few lower buds still happy for that will update images .

This week I have seen a lot of explosive growth in terms of height and shape! I was reluctant to beg from 6 weeks as I thought there wasn’t enough growth but they started to absolutely guzzle feed and respond well to everything I had done. Really happy with how they’re growing for now apart from the few issues I have had to say this is the first photoperiod strain I have grown and trained in really impressed. Humidity issues are still present but I’ve managed to maintain about 40% which is acceptable with temperatures bang on! I can see bud sites appearing everywhere and the defoliation technique really seemed to have worked. I will defoliate again before I flip to flower... Excited to keep growing!!

@FAST_BUDS, Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. Day 54 and as you can see guys she is finally producing trichomes and starting to look like blueberry if that makes sense.. if you look up close the buds have almost a bluish tint so I'm super excited and very pleased with Sensible Seeds so far.. they are two for two obviously I have not harvested or smoked this yet but this has been a breeze to grow from beginning to end or up until now anyway all I do is top dress every week and a half to two weeks and go between silica and recharge in between.. as you can see nitrogen levels are low but that is okay I'm used to synthetics so I'm very excited to see the fade I hope it looks like fall in my tent ... Let’s go day 72 from seed!!! Another great week it’s been , 2 Ogreberrys an brucy b been flushing for a week, an the 3 others will continue to get there normal feed of nutrients, they are just not quite ready so they will start getting flushed around next week!! Sweet sweet smell of Grapes And gooey frosty nugs is all I can really say, photos do no justice, some of the craziest fruitiest smelling buds I’ve ever had, Real High quality meds !! Method 🎚️ Medium: 🥥🥥🥥🥥🥥 1 volume emoji because there really was no method to this grow. Plant seed, let grow, cut down, enjoy regularly😉. Any time you have the luxury of rooting this plant in the earth (where it belongs) is a huge bonus. She didn’t need much of anything and took all she required (for the most part anyway) from the garden👍. OG’s in the emerald triangle pride themselves on the makeup of their soil and the quality of the plants they grow. I like to think that while this girl didn’t have that benefit - she got as close as she could to it here in the north. She was struggling heavy at the start when she was indoors. It must’ve been my error some how but she hated the coco medium, hated the nutes and hated the grow light. As soon as she was moved outside, she was a completely different plant - like she had been begging for the sun the whole time. 5/5 coconuts because you simply can’t beat growing in the ground as the cannabis gods intended😎. Yield🌴🌴🌴 Ahhh the great equalizer of grower egos. Let’s put all of the above in perspective; this girl ended up where she was out of necessity. She was exposed to the elements and potential rippers and named “the decoy” because her express purpose was to draw attention away from the other 2 plants that we didn’t want anyone messing with. Thankfully, no one with a thought to theft ever really noticed her and it wasn’t until late flower that she demonstrated herself to be an award winning plant👍🤘👍. Woulda thought she’d yielded more with how thin her side branches were in comparison to the buds. They were massive and she was ready to fall over by the time the chop window opened. But the buds were also somewhat less dense which made their final sizes a little deceiving. Another limiting factor was that some of her branches were pollinated - probably from a randy bumblebee that had gotten into it somewhere else. Like the other 2 outdoors this year, we pulled 6 or 7 seeds off this girl that may eventually get used in future grows. I’m certainly not opposed to the occasional seed as long as she’s not a full-on hermie that can’t be used. Who knows, maybe a breeding project Is in the cards next year🤔. End of the day, results were about as expected given her conditions and growing environment - 6.51oz of sun grown, sativa goodness👌. 3/5 palm trees for this - without some training and a more accommodating environment - we definitely left some of her potential on the table here. There’s still more than enough to go around though😉. Props Again, a shout out thank you to GD for the platform. Big thank you to HSO for breeding some wicked, awesome beans. And another shout out to good karma for seeing us through this one. Of course some special mention to those who swung in to creep on it these past weeks. They're behind the Jack Herer but at least the ladies showed up to the party at least! I have named them Shasta and Sky. They both have made the journey towards the light. I am maintainin a 21-23 C with around 67-75% RH, and with all 3 beans now popped, I am very excited about this grow day 5 of germination. Temp: 21.5c RH 75%. The sunset sherbert autos x2 (total 3) are also freshly emerged, and for now the SF-1000401h Evo 100W will be powering the babiesd, swapped out for the Mars Hydro FC-E1500 150W (+complete adlite set). later on this afternoon. Spider Farmer's 6L humidifier with sensor is doing a great job, and so is the dehumidifier , both are operating fine in the 70x70x1,60 tent. Air flow at 25% on a 4" inline fan with 204CFM. Light at 30% at 18 inches. No Adlites in operation. Let's quickly review the key new components I've planned to integrate or have already: Circulation Pump - Adding this to the 14L Mars Hydro reservoir will ensure even fresh, circulated-for-a-miniute-every-hour, batch of water (and later nutes) to the auto-drip system, maintaining optimal feeding for my plants when I am away, next week. Biobizz & BioTabs Supplements - These organic nutrient and microbial products will provide a comprehensive and balanced feeding regimen for my plants. Auto-Drain Potted Plant Stands - The wheeled, auto-draining stands will simplify watering and prevent any spills or overflows. Inkbird Humidity Controller - Pairing this with the Spider Farmer humidifier and dehumidifier will allow me to precisely maintain the ideal VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) levels. LST Clips, Trellis Net & Shelves - These will help me maximize my grow space and optimize the plant canopy for optimal light exposure. Pest Control Strips - An important preventative measure to stay ahead of any potential pest issues.
