End of course for this Persian Prince project! Unfortunately, he failed to cut short this flowering a few days in advance following the start of a pest attack. Our two beautiful ones would have certainly enjoyed crunching life with full roots for another week, but prudence forced us to cut a little prematurely. Never mind, our flowers have dried for 10 days and are now ready to begin their maturing period in a jar. Despite these conditions, which are very well known to them, our Persian Princes still present impressive characters: the buds are huge, covered with a thick layer of trichomes and very fragrant. In terms of flavors, cheesy dominates 🧀 the two phenos smell strongly of semi-roller/Emmental style hard cheese, definitely the dominant aroma, for one of our two plants it is the only aroma that I am capable of to raise. The other phenotype is more complex, on the salty-cheesy smell a fresher and tangy/lemony smell is superimposed, very pleasant and different from its sister and at the same time linked to it by its common dominant cheesy aroma. What a week. First off these girls are way to damn small to be 8 f'n weeks in. But I've delt with about 2 weeks of very hot weather eary on. The water temp got up to 85 that I know of. So it fried the roots. I discovered hydrogen peroxide little to late but it has helped. I really thought I was gonna lose a couple this week but they are doing much better. I got my new grow tent lights in. Using them on the main grow room until I get the other new light built but thatbwont be for some time. The other light is almost done. I've got the new pvc pipe frame made. Yaya I know cheap. But hey that's why I did it. I just ordered to more light setups. That puts me at $300 for this light alone. But damn it is so Brite. Right now with just 6 lights on high its at 283watts. I'm adding 2 more that should put me around 376 Watts for a 5x5. These are the large cog legs. I have 3500 wave length ones. I also built a cloner. Shout out to @icanthc for one of his videos that gave me the inspiration to build my own with improvements. I've had bad luck with clones so far so I hope this will help. I'm going to cut down CDG#2. She so damn far behind. I will get 3 cloned out of her. Fingers crossed.

There isn't much more to say about this fantastic strain. Hardy, easy to clone, quick to flower and absolutely delicious in every respect. It resists well to high temperatures, "accidental" over fertilization, and recovers soon after a period of drought. Easy and fast.

Estuve un tiempo sin actualizar el diario porque me contagie de COVID, ahora un poco mejor vuelvo a actualizar. Flower58, las plantas están listas para la cosecha, en uno o 2 días empezaré a cortar y colgar para su secado. Drying, secando con parámetros de humedad de 60% a 16°c por aproximadamente 2 semanas, están a 2 o 4 días de estar listas para pasarlas a frascos y ver cuánta cantidad final se logró.

Hey folks a late week 3 update. Trying to even out the weight of each pot since they got watered unevenly due to the windstorm from last week. 2 pots did get watered fully while the other 2 only need a third of what the other two pots required. Lots of things happen this week. First application of neem oil spray, foiler and soil drench to prevent fungus gnats. 2tbsp per gal with a dash of non phosphate dish soap. Before the spray. I also topped/FIM the tallest branches along with hst and a heavy defoliation. I can already tell she's gonna be a stacker! Like I said earlier. 2 plants are doing very well and the other 2 are lagging behind 1-2 weeks most likely got damaged from the storm.

A lot more happening this week! As shown in the pics, and as suspected, I have a manganese deficiency. I've been keeping my pH level at 6.2 in coco, manganese is taken up best by the plant below 6.0 pH. Dropping my ph level to 5.8 pH, and flushing with lower pH, hopefully it will solve the issue over the course of a few days. I made a new frame for a SCROG, with a "custom bend" in the CPVC pipe on both ends. The bend will allow me to take advantage of the slack material in the sides of my 4x4 tent. I'd previously taken 4" out of all the upright poles to shorten the tent so it would fit in the room due to low ceilings, meaning I had extra slack in my tent walls. The bend in the net frame pushes the sides of the tent out to 5 foot wide. My first SCROG net was a 6" mesh from Amazon, immediately knew I wanted a smaller mesh. Next time around I built my own with a 4" mesh and used the 4" for several grows. This time I decided to go with an even smaller, 3" mesh, and already I like it better. I don't really see myself going much smaller than 3" mesh though. It seems to work well, and any smaller and it may be too tight trying to work the plant through the opening sometimes, which if not careful, will damage the plant. I usually use a & gal cloth pot, grow off rules stated we 0had to use a 5 gal pot. Seeing as I only had 7 gal on hand, I was stuck picking up a Root Farm 5 gal cloth pot locally, as you can see, the roots didn't really stay contained, nor did they "air prune", i had to tear them off before installing the net above. On the last day of week 6 I finally got my net installed, and the plant SCROGged. I should have put the net in place a week or two earlier, it would have been easier to manipulate the plant, however the plant will still have a week to recover. I tie the net in place above the plant, and slowly lower it down, as I bend and super crop the main stalk over parallel to the net, and work all the branches underneath and spread them out. As the plant grows I'll continue to push branches back down through the net and moving them out to the next hole. This will greatly increase yields by allowing light to more bud sites, keeping all buds the same height and thus the same distance from the light. small budsites on a vertical branch, will transform into their own cola once the branch is laid on its side. Instead of a Christmas tree type of plant, with one large main cola, and smaller and smaller buds as you move further down the plant, you end up with a bunch of colas that are all close to the same size, and more importantly, the same level of maturity. The SCROG method, combined with super cropping, and defoliation has greatly increased my yields. As the plant is getting worked into the net, I'll defoliate where necessary, ie a huge fan leaf covering bud sites, however for the next several weeks I'll be defoliating so mush every night or two, systematically trimming off all fan leaves, and stripping everything below the net, and any small bud sites that wont produce well. Usually by the time I'm half way through the flower stage there are no big fan leaves left to be found. It helps with light penetration, which results in a higher quality, higher quantity yield, as well as airflow, which will help prevent White Powdery Mildew and other molds etc. Once a fan leaf is 14 days old, its ability to photosynthesize light, starts to degrade. Once it reaches a certain point, the leaf drains more energy from the plant, than it's giving the plant. My best yields have been from heavily defoliated plants, my last grow I couldn't physically defoliate quite as heavily as usual, and I ended up about 25-30% less bud than expected

So these two are growing completely opposite of each other. I feed them the same and one is losing fan leaves while the other is thriving. The one that is thriving I actually topped so we will see if it stunt the growth by any chance

Excited for my first Sweet Seeds run. Amazed I’ve had these seeds for almost a year now and literally jus popped them in the soil right from the pack. Lightly watered and cup misted with water on top. Took 3 days to break the medium. Only way to go is up from here!!! My first official grow All comments welcomed HELP ME!!!!!! Lmao

Was away for most of the week so was left to my mate. So not really much say this week. Seeing some frosting on the bud sights but not currently as big as I’d like at this stage.

July 27: she’s starting to preflower so I’m going with phyto-forcing using a 730 nm light for a few seconds at dusk each night. This puts plant into dark mode two hours faster so it’s like getting two more hours of darkness making it a 26 h day. Good trick, and super easy. July 30: video showing how I make my lazy compost tea. Best plants in four seasons of outdoor growing so it definitely works. A similar commercial product would be Recharge which has molasses, Humic acids and bacteria. Aug 1: plants always look super healthy after a round of compost tea.
