harvested on day 66. trichomes been turning amber for last couple of weeks. but she is amazing. bud structure is top notch and the smell is unreal. this was my first organic grow and only second ever. the difference in my grows are night and day and i will be staying organic for sure. i cant recommened it enough. will update weights etc when its all dried hopefully on the weekend coming

Me gustó y disfruté mucho viendo el desarrollo de esta planta, esta vez no quise entrenarla (LST, topping) para ver como se desarrollaba y la verdad no me decepcionó, quizás hubiera esperado más producción pero sin duda que la calidad de las flores vale totalmente la pena en desmedro del rendimiento. Flores compactas y poco aireadas completamente repleta de resina dulce y muy frutal. Totalmente recomendable para los que disfrutan de humos dulces, frutales, cremosos y con notas a frutos secos, ¡un lujo! Gracias a Sweet Seeds por darme la oportunidad de cultivar estas 3 novedades que la verdad son unas maravillas que sin duda volveré a cultivar. Será hasta la próxima, buenos humos!

The girls have survived another week ❤️ I did a light defoliation and have been monitoring the RH closely. We have had a very damp week here, and the RH kept climbing and had my fan working hard. They are starting to plump up and fill in 😋. They have also started to slow their drinking habits, instead of watering every three days, it has moved to every 4 now. Just a couple of weeks left, I think I will be harvesting these over Christmas 🎄, and will have some great bud ready for the new year! 🎉🎊🍾

DWC stripped to the wood no suckers only AAAA quality buds I’m looking for especially if she’s a leafier bud. It’ll be a challenge keeping her in Veg any longer but still looking at minimum two week before she sees the flower tent. Week 7 Flower, frosty, smells great, she really puts on the weight late flower so it’ll be interesting to see where she stops.

There is so much to discuss ! I have been extremely busy as of late trying to get this Harvest together, but i am happy to have it here for you now ! I Seriously under estimated the amount of time, help from others, and my own necessary skills to pull this off.. and i still kind of screwed it up lol ! But its worth noting i have never actually done this before and trying to document it during....was extremely hard. It is next to impossible to work an iPhone with rubber gloves on ! First I want to discuss everything step by step so before you jump straight into the comments on how the end product is so small in "quantity" Rest assured i am happy with its"quality"...and thats all that matters to me because Life is a journey not a destination! and i have learned so much from this grow that I couldn't be any happy even if i messed some things up :) But at the very least I hope you read through this entry in its entirety with an open mind and focus more on the process, rather than just the outcome! I ran out of Ice & i was only able to wash three times..(normally I've heard you should go sometimes 5-6 washes) Preparation is Key & things will be much better next round :) Photos 1-22 These are pretty self explanatory but for those of you just tuning in now.. this is what happens to a very happy plant when you don't have the necessary tools to monitor key components of growing cannabis.. Ph, as well as EC levels play a very key role in the outcome of your grow lol that being said I was just able to save this plant by purchasing both tools but that doesn't mean the plant didn't suffer because of the prior events.. This was a Huge reason behind me choosing to turn this harvest into what i would consider "Solventless Hash Rosin" from "Ice water extracted Bubble hash". Pictures 23 The idea here is the process of using "fresh Frozen Cannabis" this has been discussed many a time online on such sites as instagram and here on grow diaries as well.. I personally have Never tried the process so i decided to try it out and make a judgement for myself.. Video 24 The Cannabis has now been in the freezer for 72 hours making it very well frozen.. as you can tell i struggled getting it all into the 25u Screen Wash Bag. One thing of note i would do differently is i will de-stem my next batch as i also believe this played a part in the amount of plant matter that escaped through the sieves. Photo/Video's 25-28 The idea here is "ice water Seiving" & especially with the bags that I am using here that are only have screen material on the bottom portion of the bag it is very important to have spaces in-between the screens to allow the water to pass directly through the screens into the bottom bucket with the least amount of resistance.. because the hash is so extremely temperature dependant if it gets warm on the side of the bag.. it will stick there and not make it to the bottom to become use able product.. 29 You do not need to use as much Ice as i used here lol... the idea is to keep everything very cold..i certainly achieved that but at the sacrifice of using so much that i ended up grinding product and producing "contaminants" but in the end they are just plant matter that i would be smoking when i rolled up my joint either way so.. I'm not super disappointed.. But it should be noted that what you want to achieve here is a Layering effect where you have the wash bag between two small layers of ice while the "water current" washes the Trichomes away allowing them to be separated by the screens setup below :) Before Starting the machine you should allow some time (i.e.;10-12minutes pre soak to allow the product to become saturated) before the first cycle. By video 32 I have just ran out of ice lol.. Video 33-34 Here I have a tip for you.. to separate the screens that you sieve through.. cut 5 gallon buckets to stretch them across nice and tight.. it'll make scooping your Bubble that much easier ! i learned this from the many "Frenchy" videos I have watched :) Picture 35 Here in lays the problem for most people.. drying your hash without loosing vast amounts of "Terpenes" whilst also stay ever vigilant against mold ! Thanks to all those videos I've watched on youtube.. id like to think this was one of my most successful parts of this process.. Things to Note; Terpenes start to seriously evaporate at temperatures 68F or 20C you need to stay as cold as possible whilst bringing the Relative Humidity in the space down into the 40-30% to stay away from that nasty mold ! I used my cold storage room in the basement.. with a dehumidifier running to keep the space at 45% RH & staying at a constant 15c. All while spreading the hash as thin as possible across parchment paper, on top of the white screens with a fan moving air across both sides of the paper. Pictures 36-38 These are some macros i took in the middle of my drying session I fell in love with the colour. Yes i know the black spots are plant material but they will get caught when i bag the hash & squish the oil out. Thing to Note; at this stage it is important to ensure you 'micro plane" the hash down as fine as you can whilst staying weary of the temperature... any "chunks" will hold pockets of moisture.. that lead to potential problems..ie; mold ... Picture/Video 39-41 Successfully planed bubble hash ready to be bagged and Squished ! Picture 42 Ive decided to follow Pedro.. from Pedros Grow Room and double bag to be on the safe side so i don't have any blow outs. So thats One 25u bag inside one 160u bag ! :) Pictures 43 This is almost 3 grams of the bubble hash from above, already melting in the bag.. this is where i ran into trouble again lol things started getting to warm in the house and i was only able to get one of the three squish's i did on video :( things started getting sticky. Picture 44 This is basically just a photo of the equipment I'm using; 3x5 LowTemp Cage in the frame I built myself, with a 20Ton bottle jack. Something to note here is this is an older Lowtemp model with only a single heating zone which is which i have it closed here heating Both sides of the press :) As well as the importance of having adequate pressure on your plates.. my rig is very overkill for the size of hash bags..lol Video 45 Here is the lovely press video.. its didn't quite work the way i wanted either lol my directional folding wasn't quite tight enough for a big "drip" :) &the Press was set to 65°c Photo's 46-50 are pretty self explanatory :) I had a blow out.. but still managed to pull an 80% return from the hash once squished...& yes it tasted amazing :) Was it worth it in the end... that could be debated.. for some..i understand..its not your thing, but for those of us that are interested in making our own concentrates.. free from Solvents... I wouldn't make it any other way :) If even ONE of you reading this diary finds it helpful to reference for ANYTHING.....even if its "what not to do" ill consider it a success ! Day 28: Happy days folks. hope we are all well and sane still. This week has been a good week for node stacking and starting her frost making it seems. She is a great size to work with now and has responded well to the stripping out of the lower larf and leaf. The airflow is perfect below decks now and allows air to move through the whole canopy and also light to make it through. Her buds are showing her Gelato 41 genetics with their appearance and are identical to the white flame like pistils. She is giving a slight terpene of sweetness and a little diesel too. Her stripping out had my fingers feeling a nice tacky , oily feel to them so she is certainly starting to nurture the budlets. Their golfball appearance is swelling daily and seeing how lose they are to joining up already , holds hope for some long chunky colas. She is approx 3ft now and a good circumference to her too. It is a safe assumption to think she will go the full 11 weeks flowering based on her parentage. The cross of these two strains is so far producing a perfect sized plant for my room and has given me the confidence to dabble in this area in the future I think. Gorilla Zkittelz/Blue Gelato41 is a good X and I know from another seed popped by a friend that Gelato41/Hulkberry creates a 5ft cola'ed monster plant. ( pic in my photos) and I still have crosses of Gelato41 and Cookie Kush , Gelato41 and Phantom O.g , Gelato41 and Orange Sherbet to run !!. I am fortunate to have a lot of these new beans now but I also have some amazing sponsored genetics running and some exciting testers still to do ( 9 more fast flowering strains to put through the wringer and try to identify !.lol) . Well that's another week down and only 7 to go for her. !!!!!!! she has a lot of big stacking buds growing time left. WATCH THIS SPACE !!!!!. Be safe people.

Well Well Well, So much to say, so little time to say it. Fist things first: we are now in a 8 x 8, which is a landmark upgrade in my path to learning all I can about cannabis. Larger growing space allows you to work freely, comfortably even. It was about time and long overdue. Within 48 hours from being moved to the 8x8 each and every plant started to grow exponentially: I must admit, I think this tangy was a goner. I didn't touch her and fed her normally with little more run off. She surprised me when I saw her getting twice bigger in a week. I think we are gearing up to flower at this stage, so I will give her as much room and light as she can get. I am heavily into LST as I plan to maximise all those potential bud sites. She is showing vigor and will likely surprise us all. Unlike all previous times with tangy, I am not detecting any terms or lemolene from the stems as of yet. Now bathed in light by on all angles and with room to explode, I look forward to she how she does

This week she has been bulking those nuggets peppered all over, I am hoping she can be healthy enough to swell those Calyxes, because she was stressed few times during her growth and the last one is the change from hps to leds... She had to adapt to those intense leds... Found spider mites on one plants next to her but they are not interested in her, still found few on her and did a careful inspection/eradication but only 4 were found... I think she stink too much for them lol that gassy fuel from the swamp is not on their list! Only water this week she was given. I am trying not to rub those sugar leaves for a sniff too often!🙄😜 It seems the less I touched them the better they are😁, so I use a wooden stick now when I need to move leaves or buds. She is becoming one of my favorite plant, she is fussy yes but very special smell and look, I am so pleased I have made cuttings this time in case and if her high is as good as her smell she will be the first mother plant I will try to keep!

Day 43 - Starting week 7 and she’s looking good. She’s starting to stretch more every day and flowers are starting to fatten up a bit. Gonna continue with the foxfarm feeding schedule. Can’t wait for her to finish! Day 44 - The room is really starting to smell amazing. Just keeping on with the foxfarm nute schedule until she’s ready to be cut in a couple more weeks. Still plenty of fattening and growing to go. Day 45 - No major changes, she’s just chugging along. Gave a feeding of just water today and tomorrow will be the foxfarm feeding. I love her look and the smell starting to really come from her. Day 46 - No major changes, just continuing to fatten, grow and definitely getting really frosty! Day 47 - What can I say? This thing is an amazing grow and smelling amazing. She just growing and fattening each day. Still to early to really look at the trichs but wanted to look anyway. Got a few decent pics and there’s a few cloudy ones in there. Gave her straight pH’d water today and tomorrow and will give another feeding on Saturday. Day 48 - No big changes, just continuing to fatten up. Held off on watering today, she didn’t really drink munch compared to the GC. Will give her an actual “feeding” tomorrow. Day 49 - All is looking good and she’s plumping up each day. Gave her the foxfarm feeding today. Tomorrow starts week 8 so will continue with the feeding schedule until the end. She’s really starting to smell up the room in my house and loving it.

Heya Bud, Hope everyone had a great week, my little plant sure did, there has been a lot of green growth after topping, she's turned into a small bush. I have been a bit under the weather, but I'm trying my best to keep up with LST and topping, I expect another week or two of veg, just to be safe. I don't know this strain at all and I really want to fill my tent, so far it reminds me of my very first plant which had long, dense colas, just like that plant, this one is starting out very short, dense with tight node spacing. Unlike my first plant though, this one is a photo-period and I have hold of the reins, I decided to not add organics to my system this week, trying to hunt down the source of dark gunk that collects around my roots, i think it might be bits of peat from the starter plug, it rinses off easily. My webcam froze a few times and I lost some footage, but you can still see the growth! I have topped her a total of 4 times this week, the goal is an even canopy and I cant allow one branch to take over to much at this stage. Trellis in next week? maybe? who knows, definitely a skirt clean-up in the future, I like it when my ladies can breathe down there. Thanks for stopping by, stay safe and keep growing.

Day #24 I gave her some water although she wasn’t asking for it and did not absolutely need it . I will try and wait until she’s positively thirsty before I water her again. My tent humidity has been dropping as the pots dry out but when I check the moisture levels it shows “normal” also as my pots dry out the ph of the “medium” has risen to 6.8-7.1 . Deeeeeeeep at the bottom of the pot it is 5.5. I’m curious about the fluctuations of “soil medium” . Thought to check the accuracy of my ph pen today before watering & discovered it is out of calibration 2 weeks after initially setting it up . I think I’ll look for another PH pen that I can rely on however I’m glad I had the foresight to acquire ph solutions to be able check the accuracy of the calibration of my pen. I don’t want to feel the need to recalibrate before each use nor the desire to check the accuracy each time which is why I sprung for a more expensive pen this time rather than a “ super value “ ph . Back to the drawing board to find a better product . I am still happy with the performance , accuracy & reporting of my smart hygrometer. I am very glad I sent back the original one and replaced it with a competitor brand . I’m wondering should I be getting ready to give her a top dressed feeding in one week . Orrrrr will I wait until she starts showing hunger signs . I premixed more than the recommended amount of plant food when I transplanted her from her starter pot day #9. I’ll think on it a little more. Day 26 Update: She has EXCELLENT structure without any LST, Topping, or SuperCropping. Ponytailing has definitely brought out great growth. I’m a little sad. I believe that I’ve misused the total flower time of the 3 autos finishing in this tent. They have all been in flower since week 2 & 3 of their life . They are currently in weeks 7 & 8 of their life. I was thinking an 8 week flower but these look as if they can go 12-15 weeks. Sooo put simply, these autos may remain in my 5x5 the entirety of my 3 month vegging of “Cellie” Cereal Milk by RQS. The best shots will come once the tent gets harvested & she gets scrogged down . I’ve plucked 2 fan leaves finally although I really don’t want to defoliate any yet . Her lateral growth shoots are healthy and tenacious. I’m super happy with the number of arms & equality of height in the arms . I may eventually be interested in topping this naturally bushy plant . I really want a dramatic filling of this tent so I’m encouraging an over abundance of multiple branches. Branches that I will eventually tie down . Day#28 Update: she finished the week well & is becoming voluptuous . Given her majority indication indica leaning pheno is taking up this Gaia Green like a champ & I was questioning just how tall I think she’ll grow before growing/being trained to grow as wide as the tent . She may be a squat but wide bush 😂 . It’s too soon to tell, the lights are still between 40%-50% & watering is only sparingly as needed the last watering age received was day # 24. Give us a like. Week 5 has began !
