First week of my first grow! The weeks leading to this were filled with hours of research from every source I could find. I still wake up and start reading or looking at diaries. I’m growing in a 4x4 tent in an insulated but not heated garage. I have a small heater in the tent connected to an Inkbird temp controller set to kick on at 70 degrees and turn off at 80. This sucks a lot of humidity from the tent. I have 2 humidifiers running to combat this and it stays around 45% RH on average; getting higher than that has proved quite the challenge. I’ve admired quite a few diaries on here and I hope everyone enjoys my rookie season.

Popped these seeds on Monday (30/03/20). Germination Method: Soaked seeds in Vitathrive overnight and transferred to Jiffy pellets. I used the excess water with Vitathrive to soak the pellets 👍. Two days later, what I’ll reference now as P1, popped out. P2 is two days behind. These seeds were sent from BF over a year ago. Day 5 - Placed both in 1 Gallon fabric pot with an amended Coco Coir mix. Grow medium (per 1 Gallon) in Vivosun 1 Gal Fabric pot. Coco Coir, 1.5 TBSP of Gaia Green 4-4-4, 2 TBSP Earthworm Casting. I debated doing a synthetic run again but love the simplicity of using Gaia Green. I will start early giving the plants some Organic Cal-Mag for General Organics. Outcome of mix TBD LoL... Lights: HLG 65W 4000k QB for the first 2-3 weeks depends on space. HLG 95W - Week 3 to 6 or until the 3x3’ tent is open for business. I plan (I change my mind on a daily so we’ll see) to do a two plant in a 3x3’ flowering tent under the HLG QB 288 (260W 3000k) Game Plan Last grows I had amended my mix with Feather Meal which caused Nitrogen Toxicity in both plants. For this run I plan to start extremely light and adjust accordingly, meaning I’ll top dress with FM as needed or maybe at week 2. Plants currently under humidity dome with vents open as I have the strawberry nuggets on the other side finishing up (need low humidity for the next two weeks). Veg time will be at most 6 weeks if I’m running both plants in my flowering tent. Recommend flowering time for this strain is 9-10 weeks therefore plenty of growth will occur once the switch is flipped to 12/12. Why Phantom OG? We’ll I’m a fan of Sativa Dominant Hybrids. Read great reviews on this strain and looks like a strain that will produce enormous buds, to be seen.

I watered today with 1.5g of de-chlorinated water which was then ph'd to 6.6 @ 72℉ turned her pot and shot a few pictures of her. 10/6- Today I watered her with 1.5g of her usual straight de-chlorinated water that's ph'd to 6.5 @ 72℉ and turned her pot. She's definitely starting to fade, is still stacking her flowers, bulking up and has an incredible amount of trichomes which I'm beginning to monitor daily. 10/8- The routine of watering every other day continues like clockwork. Yesterday was a 'no water' day and I did a basic check over of the plant, removed a couple of yellowed lower leaves and turned her pot. Today she got the usual 1.5g of straight de-chlorinated water that's ph'd to 6.5 @ 72℉ and had her pot turned. I've also begun to check her trichome development with a digital USB microscope to try to identify the ideal harvest time which will be in the next 12 days +/-. 10/10- Well, Week Eight of flower has come, gone and has been a trial once again of my patience! She's so freaking frosty that I've wanted to chop her several times but, I know from experience, good things come to those who wait... then wait a bit more. Her fade is in full swing now and I anticipate that she'll be ready by the end of this coming week... I can't wait! I've cut the wattage back on the HLG 650R to 500w at the wall now to simulate the way that sunshine becomes weaker as fall approaches due to the lower angle of the sun in the sky. This helps outdoor plants to know that winters on the way and they need to hurry up and complete their life cycle. Cutting the wattage back creates the same effect on the indoor plants, especially when coupled with lowered temperatures in the tent. I have also noticed that her water uptake has slowed. After her heavy watering on the 8th, her pot still had some weight to it and she was looking great so I went ahead and skipped watering her today, watering her tomorrow at lights on with her usual. Day 22 25/07/24 Thursday Still no Feed/water since Tuesday. Been a humid and overcast two days so not as much evaporation as normal. All plants happy and healthy 💚 Video updates Day 23 26/07/24 Friday De-chlorinated watering pH 6 with 5ml calmag to 5L water. Watered each with 250ml and had small run off. I will continue to feed/water with small run offs to help prevent salt build ups. Video update. Day 26 29/07/24 Monday Nice feed today, using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6. They each had 300ml with small run off. All looks incredibly happy and healthy! The Auto Kabul that was mutated and twisted has pulled herself through and is just a bit shorter than the others. Day 28 31/07/24 Wednesday End of week😁 De-chlorinated water pH 6 today with Plagron pk13-14 5ml to 5L Plagron power buds 5ml to 5L Used 300ml of the 5L solution. I will be using these on water days from now on as they are advised to be used every irrigation. We'll see how they perform 💪💚
