Ok next week is just water and the chop. I am done with these plants, they did well and I'm happy with that. Got some real fade and issues all through out the run of this grow but the buds on the plant are looking fantastic. Can't say I am disappointed in them as I legit did not give a fuck about them and they produced. so that's a massive bonus. I will be drying them indoors for the same period as the other plants I was harvesting. give them a little cure and see what they are like.

Everything seems to be going great for them to all be random bag seeds! Temp is staying a little higher than I would like trying to figure out some ways to cool it down may just order some new lights!

start of week 9

Welcome to week 10 / week 7 of flowering! Seeing more amber trichomes, but still holding out until I see approximately 50% amber. Getting closer! ✅Day 64: 100oz of water. No runoff. ✅Day 65: No water. ✅Day 66: No water. ✅Day 67: 100oz of water. No runoff. ✅Day 68: No water. ✅Day 69: I was spot checking trichomes and noticed what appeared to be seeds beginning to form in the buds. I couldn’t tell for sure. They were hard and small balls, but they broke apart somewhat easily when I squeezed them in-between my nails. I don’t know if they were young seeds or new calyxes and maybe the hard ball was the pistils inside that hadn’t grown out yet. It was hard to tell, but I didn’t want to risk it if she was starting to herm, so I chopped her down.

Again the super soil seems to save them and provide for exponential growth. I could try to up my humidity, which is somewhat low. But the phenotypes are looking awesomely similar for a no-name brand. This could be a hidden little gem and can't wait to see how they mature. Meanwhile been fighting gnats, tried to get rid of them with a solution of citric acid and water. It seems to help as a contact poison on the soil, while only being a tiny film, so I just don't have to add any citric coming waterings. We like them organic solutions with stuff already lying around the house. Next week I'm going to FIM them and hope this works out better than with my Orange Hill Special grow. Very excited for my first grow ever. My soil is the Biobizz-Light Mix in a 11L pot .I got so impatient that i even dug it out at some point to see the progress...i hope it won't have any consequences. The first days, i only sprayed the soil with some water to keep the soil moist. At Day 4 of germination i watered it for the first time with 250ml tap water at 6,5ph. I will run my light for 18 hours now at a distance of 60cm with full power. That will lead to round abot 215 ppfd and 12k lux for the final days of germination. At day 6 after germination two darker spots appeared on the first 2 leafs. I hope it’s just because of some water drops on the leafs. Watered every 3 days with 350-500ml of 6,5ph tap water. 23.05.24: For my definition the vegetative stage starts today. I will turn the light up to 500 pphd Very excited what will happen next!

Harvest Week. I hope all my North American friends had a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving. I harvested on Tuesday, so due to Thanksgiving prep. I'm late posting the harvest report. Apollo is a wonderful plant to grow. She stayed short. I tried to lst by tying down. Apollo limbs pushed up the pins many times. She is strong and resilient. After watering only 2 liters with Vit B, Recharge and Signal yesterday, I put her in the 3#x3tent in the dark. The leaves were showing the fade using up the nutrients. 11/21 is day Apollo's 71 day and 43 in flower. The harvest window per RQS is 70-75 days from seed. Apollo's buds are thick, dense, stinky citrus floral and sticky. As she hangs to dry, she is pungent and stinky. I am so proud of this grow. I didn't overfeed so I have experienced the color fade to yellow as foods are used up and the delicate colors emerge in the sugar leaves. I am very impressed with Royal Queen Seeds F1 genetics. So much so I bought Milky Way F1 and Medusa F1. I will definitely have another Apollo grow in January. Thank you @James at RQS. After hanging to dry 13 days and a little bit more trim, Smokable bud 128 g or 4,5 oz. Wow this is my best harvest and grow ever. I put her in the jars to cure. Apollo F1 had a huge base stem and was multi branching-even the side stems had side stems. The stems were sturdy. No support is needed for her branches She stayed short at 26 inches tall. I definitely pushed her on the watering. When I saw no runoff after 2.5 liters of water, I upped to 3 ltr. Then 3.5, then 1 gallon. I watered 2 liters, let the water absorb, then slowly add another 2 liters. There was a small amount of run off at the time of watering but was all gone by the next day. It could have been evaporation, but I really think it was consumption. Consumption is an indicator of yield. As densely bushy as she is, I'm estimating at least 90 grams. So for future grows, especially for very bushy plants, I will defoliate at least 2x during early and midflower to open up the canopy and let the plants bulk up more. She did show some nutrient (cal-mag) deficiency and for the next Apollo grow, I will push the feed a bit. I'm excited and a bit sad to see this grow come to an end at the same time.
