Things really looking good this week did a major defoliation to help with light penetration. Backed off of the Big Bloom because I noticed the tips of some of the leaves were burning. Buds are now starting to form nicely. Very little smell still. Since this is my first inside grow with autos I would love to hear some feedback from some more experienced growers.

10 week mark. started flushing. Still not all the way there yet. Assuming less than 2 more weeks hopefully. Smell in the room is almost like oranges.

Transplanted into the 3 gallon medical buckets from thebucketcompany. Everything still going smoothly. Plants are happy under the gavita at 40% power and 50 inches above the top of the plants.

white widow auto from RQS, harvest of 200 grams dry for 6 plants in 7 liter pots, really happy for my first 🤩. after 4 weeks in a jar (which breathes 10/15 minutes a day), the taste and the smell are magnificent, the effect is excellent for the day, I will grow again, for sure, really a pleasure to smoke 🤩

18.5.25: I watered with 3ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4. I added Per 6.5 litres; ♡ 1Tsp Sea K(elp) ♡ 1/2 Tsp Bud Explosion PK booster ♡ 7ml Trace PH: 6.4 PPM: 780 I added the PK booster this feeding, just to provide some phosphorus without risking an excess. Next time, I won't use it. 19.5.25. Northern lights had got quite bushy, and there were a lot of extra leaves covering up some prime budsites. So I went ahead and Defoliated some of the larger fan leaves that were covering and blocking out other buds. The plants are growing very fast. The buds are getting very nicely structured. Northern Lights is drinking about 3 l per day, and I will continue to use the Greenleaf nutrients sea kelp and Ecothrive Biosys, along with the Ecothrive trace For the calcium, magnesium and trace elements. She has indeed stopped stretching now and is focusing on the bud formations. It's a very lovely smell, too! 😋 I use these all the way through. ☆ Xpert Nutrients PH down, up to 1ml. ☆ Ecothrive Neutralise 1 drop per litre from the 1ml pipette, which is attached. This is my dechlorinator. 21.5.25: I defoliated today again. This time, I took a little more off than I did yesterday as things had become congested, and the buds in the centre weren't getting any light. I got covered in sticky...ness?! I forgot to wear gloves, but for some reason, my non dominant hand got covered in resin and the other, not at all. Anyway, I hope I've managed to include the before defoliation and after videos/photos. I think it's much better after, there's so many buds I couldn't even see in the centre! I probably should have done it sooner, but I was trying hard to take as little as possible this run. Anyway, this is the prime bud building period. So, taking the leaves covering all the centre colas will not only provide equal light penetration but also get rid of some of the nutrients stored in the leaves. So, any nutrients available in the remaining leaves can deplete to a happy medium. That being said, we're coming close to the end of mid flowering. I'm really hoping to produce some good sized colas! 🤞💚😉🍃😃🌱 I'm certain I won't be disappointed, she's looking 🔥😍😀😋 24.5.25: I watered with Ecothrive Biosys 3ltrs each. The plants are still drinking at least 2 litres per day. They are increasingly thirsty, and it's important that I don't let them dry out. The soil is mostly coco and perlite, so it can dry out quicker. There are plenty of worm castings, too, so that definitely helps. So I made a harvest for the 70th day of life of these plants, exactly 10 weeks. When I harvested, I had to move the inflorescences to another place to dry. I put their Bank and Packed in several layers of garbage bag and tightly sealed it with sticky tape. When I came home, I dried the inflorescences, and I prefer to separate the inflorescences from the large branches, and the inflorescences themselves slightly pressed to make them easier to store and they do not crumble during transportation. So the inflorescences are obtained dense and hard as a tree, but do not lose their smell and taste, but the inflorescence should be compressed very gently and gently for several days as they dry. Hey hey my fellow growers, I hope everyone had an excellent week! It is great to be back here at the beginning of week six, let’s get into it! Last week I had misspoke- I said I was going to train 5 of the 6 plants I have going from fastbuds, this was false…. What I meant is all 6… Yes at the time I had only INTENDED on messing with 5 but the last one, the way it was structured with the self top, it was practically BEGGING me to get in there and play with it- and I ask you this- who would I be to deny that little strawberry pie the simple pleasure of a little training? So train I did… Nothing crazy, but actually for all six plants (despite my best efforts, best being debatable) to not go overboard- I have been going in a doing a little bit of training and taking a leaf off here and there if it’s blocking any potential bud sites. I am trying to be really careful and not do too much at once and upset any of them- but at the same time, after stunting them a bit with the taproot incident (which I will keep referring to until I learn from that mistake) I want to do what I can to maximize yield after tripping up a bit in the beginning. We will see how it goes, but for now, everything seems to be doing well and responding well to the bit of training I have been doing. Right now I am seeing a range of sizes among the bunch- the forbidden runtz are both shorter and squatier coming in at about 5.5 inches in height each and I notice everything is spaced a bit tighter on these so I have had some difficulty spreading them out but not to any problematic extent, just in comparison with the rest- Next we have the strawberry pie- the smaller one coming in at 5.5inches, is the one that I was speaking about that had topped itself. It seems to be doing well and handling the training just fine. However the other one, that one is much bigger and is about 8.5 inches tall. It wasn’t until I busted out the ruler that I saw that this was the second biggest plant of the fast buds. That leaves the largest which of course was the gorilla cookies! The smaller of the two is coming in at 8 inches and the larger one coming in at 9.5! They are both tied down and doing great, showing growth each day after being trained and having select leaves removed. We are getting closer and closer to flower I hope to have a bit more time with them but that is totally in their hands, so we will see what happens- the game plan now for me at this point is to keep doing what I’ve been doing- trying to balance on a delicate line. As far as other news… I am doing dishes the other day- I have my phone propped up with YouTube on and dude grows playing (my preferred way to do dishes) I hear the dude mention a giveaway they are doing that I had submitted an entry for recently so my ears had perked up…👀 I saw they had the contest page pulled up and on display and I thought to myself, wouldn’t it be cool if I got to see my picture right now, sure enough- I hear them start talking about my pictures! I in no way won (at this point, my fingers are crossed though haha) and I realize that this is debatably anticlimactic however, I listen to these guys everyday at work so I was stoked! I still am! There are lots of good giveaways going on right now, all the amazing contests going on on this site, Instagram wherever! 7 weeks later and she's flowering nicely, not too much verticle growth but the buds are getting bigger every day. Stoked! Nothing new, might make another compost tea up this week. I'm giving them 1L of water every 2nd day, 500mL top feed and 500mL bottom feed. Until next week friends, thanks for checking in.

Here's the updated feeding plan for this week: CalMag: 2.5 ml/l (Starting EC before adding nutrients: 0.50 mS/cm) Grow: 1.5 ml/l Bloom: 1.0 ml/l Micro: 0.5 ml/l EC: 1.2 mS/cm (600 ppm PPM-500/TDS) pH: 6.0 Each plant is watered with approximately 20% runoff to ensure there's no nutrient buildup in the coco mix. I will maintain this nutrient level until the pre-flowering stage to avoid the risk of nutrient burn due to over-fertilization. Weather Improvements and Adjustments The weather has been steadily improving, with temperatures expected to rise to around 25°C starting Wednesday, accompanied by abundant sunshine. This upcoming forecast is excellent news for my plants, as I anticipate a final growth spurt before flowering begins. Every centimeter of growth counts at this stage, and I'm optimistic about maximizing their potential under these favorable conditions. Strengthening with Wind Exposure On days with good weather, I move the plants out of the greenhouse to expose them to natural wind. This practice helps strengthen their stems, improving overall stability. Additionally, the wind creates a more challenging environment for pests, helping to keep them at bay. Smart Watering Strategy I only water the plants when the pots feel noticeably lighter. This encourages the roots to search for water, promoting the development of a stronger and more extensive root system. This method helps ensure the plants remain healthy and resilient. Pest Management: Observations and Actions At the beginning of the third week, I noticed dark discolorations on the undersides of some leaves. A few days later, these spots turned into yellow patches. I am still unsure about the cause of these spots. To prevent a potential insect infestation, I sprayed all the leaf surfaces, both top and bottom, with a mildly dosed neem oil mixture. Since then, the spots have not spread further. Because these discolorations are only affecting the lower leaves, they are not causing me significant concern at the moment. Regular inspections and preventive measures are crucial to maintaining the health of the plants and ensuring that any issues are caught early. Decision Against LST At first I have decided against using LST. But some of your comments made me try some LST on two of my plants. I choose Tangie and Gorilla cookies to try out and learn some stuff. Blue dream and Banana purple punch stay without any training. These girls are all over the place! 🤪 one is reaching for the stars, the other is eating itself alive, and the other looks to be about 10 days behind the others with flowering🤦‍♂️ They are all still growing a fattening, but wow, I have not had this many deficiencies since my first grow.
