Week 9: Post-Vacation Bloom & Humidity Vigilance
Update: 22.07.2025 | Day 70
Back from vacation - ladies made huge progress! Weather shifted from hot/sunny to rainy/humid (22°C). Mold prevention is now top priority.
Strain Check:
Green Crack
Developed beautifully but has fewest bud sites by far. Buds thicker than others - constant humidity checks essential. Gorgeous structure with spot-on mango aroma. Resin queen: sticky like flypaper to the touch. At least 2 weeks to go.
Forbidden Runtz
Looks fantastic with the best fragrance of the trio. Resin production accelerating, but buds show slight foxtailing (heat stress from previous weeks?). Solid 15-20 bud sites. Should finish in ~2 weeks.
Bruce Banner
Still the star with perfect even canopy. 20+ long candle-like buds forming. Resin/smell least developed but has 3-4 weeks left. Critical: Defoliation for airflow to prevent mold in this humidity.
Critical Actions:
-Daily inspection for curled leaves inside buds (early mold sign)
- Reduced Bokashi feeding (1:150 weekly)
- Strategic defoliation: Remove only touching leaves
- LST adjustments to increase branch spacing
- Morning stem shakes to dislodge moisture

This week the smell and bud sites are starting to show. I had to cut out the hygrozyme as it fouls the reservoir no matter what I do. I hand water it when I remember which isn't often. Bumped the EC to 1000 per feeding still at 5x a day with just Floraflex B1 and B2 with CalMag and Drip Clean. Wattage is at 120. Distance is around 16 to 18". Guna do a MAJOR defoliation early next week

Sorry again for the poor media content. The project was coming to an end and I was starting with another one, my first hydro grow.
Pollen was kept fertile and used after with great results too.
Sadly I don't think I have the notes where I counted how many seeds came from this plant, but well see, I'll keep digging.

During week 4 (=flowering week 2) the 18 CANNALOPE HAZE plants from DNA-GENETICS grew like hell and started to develop their first white hairs (=female pistils of the plant). The speed in which the little white crowns appear is astounding to me, I LOVE IT! The lamps are now hung at the producer recommended distance of 22 cm (=LUMATEK) and 45 cm (=SANlight) and both run at 100% power (=no more dimming for now!). The difference between the left side (=Lumatek) and right side (=SANlight) can be seen clearly in the videos. The plants on the right under the Q6W-Gen. 2 LED-Lamps from SANlight have a darker, healthier green color and have produced VISIBLY MORE FLOWERS then the plants on the left side under the Lumatek PRO 600W. Lets see how this goes further next week...😎

I will continue to update once they are dry and ready for cure .
I have cut down in jar everything the wait was 114 grams please consider that when it comes to my weight I wait until the main stem breaks with a loud crunch and the buds are really dry to the touch reason for it I have a very busy life and at the end of the day this is just a hobby so I cannot be opening those jars many times a day at most one in the morning and one in the night so I want to avoid mold on them so I push in a Boveda pack to keep them nice . I will update with flavours and other details once I try it I've I have been smoking a different strain that I will review today .
After 4 weeks curing in jars the smoke it is very smooth very nice taste like tropical citrusy with a hint of skunk buds are very smelly and hybrid density to them very enjoyable to have .

No signs of flowering yet, maybe slight formation of calxys beginning. Been spraying with molasses, neem, cal mag and liquid kelp (bioweed) and superthrive just once to hopefully delay flowering to increase yield. P.S. if youre new at growing DO NOT try this unless you know what your doing with hormones etc. Theres a chance it can turn your girls hermie. Just be aware!

Harvest time has come for my first lady which was a little faster, and had a completely other aspect than ther other 2. A little purple color and shorter. Also got some issues during veg phase with her. Anyway got 428g nice good smelling wet buds from her an they are drying now. Will post pictures from harvest next week. All of them are cherry cola.
The remaining 2 ladies look very promising and will be harvested and of this week.
Today 70 days from seed.

Day 43 from seed now and turned out alright from what i thought. At first it was a small plant but lets see what if yields at the end.

Let’s Go!! Today is day 31 from seed an these lil baby girls are shooting pistols an showing female productions!! Over the past couple weeks these girls been feasting up an building nice thick structures,building themselves up to get ready for pre flower pretty soon !! Everything is going just how we want it, everything is working properly, our air temp an humidity is stayin on point around 70-75 degrees trough the day and a humidity of 55 - 62% ! Always great! day 73 I was not ready for all this! 🤣🤣 they literally exploded and I started seeing purple on these buds I had to tie them up so the weight of the flowers didn't break the branches. compared to El Patron that I also have in my tent, Purple is much fatter and shorter. they have a very sweet scent and I can't wait to taste it, but alas I will go there a little longer. I have to say that 6 photoperiods are too many for my 1m x 1m x 2m tent. in addition to this I have noticed that they are very hungry. like me and give me some advice. thanks for stopping by, have a nice day and happy cultivation 💜🌳💜🌳💜🌳💜🌳
