Stopped feeding this week. I'm pretty sure they should be ready to chop in a week or 2. I hate looking at them with my microscope so I've gotten pretty good a judging when they are finished. I love ILGM. They always come thru with solid genetics!!

Weekly update on these big girls. I decided to take out some of the lower branches, giving more airflow at the top of the pot level. Overall they've exploded with growth this week. I'd say they're getting close to 4ft tall. I sprayed some BT spray for ipm this week since I don't want catapillers showing up unannounced. All in all Happy

Not much to do with Autos. I take a handful of leaves everytime I'm in the tent. Veg thru 2-3 weeks of flower.

This is the start of my second grow and also second Northern Light Auto from RQS, the goal is to hit #1 in g/plant for that Strain. I didn't take as many notes as in the last grow but there are timelapses, some photos and metrics from probes. Started with 3 Seeds and then picked the 2 strongest. The System is a NFT System but due to the size of the tube and root growths the solution with submerge the roots ~70% later on. To combat that I use 3 small 1.5w air pumps, these are super silent, if one dies I got 2 more running and to be honest air pumps used in DWC systems are often oversized and rely on Broscience. In my Salad/Herb NFT Systems I don't use any air pumps and the plants are just fine and grow great. This time I added sprinklers to humidify the air inside the tube, slightly moisturize the Rockwool and speed up root growths. Spoiler: Was a great success :) The ratios for the fertilizers are not accurate in the following weeks, I have a 120l Reservoir that is filled 90-110l I top it up once or twice a week to sustain PH and EC, if you want to copy it just go by the EC and use the B (Calcinit) and A (Kristalon Blue/Orange) 50/50. I mix the solution myself with dry salts that I bought in bulk 25kg bags. 4l Water(distilled/RO preferably, tap water is OK) + 1kg salts mixes just fine, keep the solution dark and cool and it will stay stable for months. Dry salts don't expire if kept cool and dry so only mix what you need and keep the rest stored as dry salts. 40ml A + 40ml B is about 2EC and 6PH with my tap water, very similar to Canna, Plagron etc. isn't it? just with the twist that I pay ~20% of the known brands. P2O5, K2O, MgO etc. are always the same as long as they are produced by a good manufacturer, Yara is a world leader in fertilizer production just not to be found in you general hydroponics or hardware store. Any other known manufacturer is fine as well, pick the cheapest. Check Hoocho on Youtube to see a guide on how to mix your own solutions, it ain't that difficult trust me. From week 5 onwards I also use Oxygen granulate (KMPS, CAS-70693-62-8, 2KHSO₅ * KHSO₄ * K₂SO₄) if you want to use this check pool supply stores and buy the cheapest. Keep this one dry, cool and dark. I used a old pill bottle to keep some ready to go because it came in a 1kg container and I only need 2-4g per serving + the bottle has a silica pack in the cap. From week 6 onwards I used Haifa Grow Clean for Details check week 6, I use this one as dry salts and add it directly to the tank, it does not interact in a bad way with the solution. For meassurements I use a generic 8in1 Meter "PH-W218" branded by many companies, as usual, check stores and buy the cheapest. (Check week 1 for an image of it) I got mine from Aliexpress for ~70€ it uses the Tuya app so you can always check your metrics and export them aswell. The PH and EC probe are accurate and are giving me stable results for almost 1 year now, I re calibrate the PH probe once in a while and it is tops 0.15 off after a month, always double check your results with PH drops/paper. Bluelab is... A LOT more expensive for less value. For the timelapses I use 2 Tappo C210 2k Cameras, these have the ability to make the stream available trough RTSP so that you can access it trough a link in a browser and that way I snap a Screenshot with a raspberry pi :) after that I just render it with blender to a timelapse. Week 10 done and dusted!!! She is as monsterous as ever 😂 Flowering going well! She is drinking an absurd amount! Probably 3 litres a day easy. I look forward to harvesting her tent-mates in the coming weeks so she can be spread out a bit better. I am pretty sure if she was grown alone, she would have filled up the entire tent. She is a prodigious grower!!

Welcome again 🙂          Finally, after about 40 days, I am ready to post the real harwest of these two spectacular Cookies Kush🍪🌱..                                                     It is a wise cross between the famous GIRL SCOUT COOKIES (known today as GSC) × a very powerful phenotype by OG Kush,named ROLLEX OG KUSH..        Cup winner🏆                  I have already posted the harwest of another CK grown with the same organic fertilizers, but in a smaller pot, about 7l geotexil..      I divided the diaries because initially I had planned to grow them differently one from the other..    In the end, however, the only difference lies in the pot, 20l geotextile for these two..   I already say that I have very little negative for this strain..    Its vigor and its resistance are impressive..      Added to the fact that it is a type of plant relatively simple to follow and in addition with a final yield in terms of both quantity and above all qualitative, I can only recommend it to everyone..    If you love Kush it is definitely a must try👌..   But let's get to the facts..    I reported weekly with precision everything that happened, therefore I invite those who want to learn more about going to review the various weeks🤗..   Unfortunately I have not posted the first because I was on vacation by the sea, discovering the best cannabis clubs on the Canary Islands😎🌊..   The first three weeks have grown inside a classic plastic pot for just over 1l..   Later I transplanted them into another plastic pot of about 4l.. Shortly after the second transplant, some very "nice" thrips decided to break the balls🧐..   I had never seen so many together and the situation in few days was going out of control..   I'm always reluctant in the using   of products to combat insects or pest , but this time I was forced to use neem oil mixed with about 1/5 of potassium soap..     Apart from some survivors the thrips disappeared, at a high price though.. The plants in only 36 hours after the treatment they had a phytotoxic reaction to neem oil.. The leaves seemed to be bitten by animals, not earthworms or the like🦌🐛🐌..      After a few hours, the situation was getting worse.. I found myself unprepared for what was happening..   But I thought the best solution was to remain calm and understand how to best cope with the situation🧘‍♂️..    I think I have prayed an indefinite number of times to try to resolve the situation⛪🕌🕍🕋🙏.. After a few days the symptoms of intoxication seemed to have subsided..   The two girls still continued their growth process🌿..      After a couple of weeks I took them to their accommodation final, a 20l geotextile pot..    As a base substrate I used a mix composed largely of light-mix of biobizz + coconut always from the biobizz and in addition a little humus to improve the characteristics of the soil..     In the soil it was already present in good quantity also perlite..                                                            Once I created the hole in the ground, I placed mycorrhizas (MICOSAT F) directly in contact with the roots.. Theoretically I carry out an action in about five weeks..  Shortly after the transplant I gave by leaf , using a pump sprayer, a little bit of fish emulsion (Fish-mix + Acti-vera of biobizz)..   And the girls appreciated a lot by continuing to grow and produce foliage vigorously..   Unlike their sister minor, given the large amount of vegetation, I felt the need to defoliate a bit.. I must say that this strain responds very well to this practice👍👍..  Seeing the vigor of growth I decided to also make a topping on both..   Also in this case the genetics of these plants has demonstrated its strength by continuing to grow as if nothing f bones..                                   I was doing a little lst but very roughly, almost for fun..   The final result, once in bloom, was fantastic😍..    Fragrant and tasty buds at the head of each branch..                    As you can see in the photos over the various weeks, the phenotypes emerged were two..                              One low and with light green colored leaves with a good production of resinous buds..                                                  The second one has practically tripled its height🌳                                                      The leaves in mid-bloom have started to be tinged with a truly spectacular red-violet color..  Full of buds entirely on the branches,like mostly  Sativa strain..                                                               An incredible resin production and very dense and super fragrant flowers.. Compared to the Cookies in the 7l pot, neither of them had an evidently mint scent.. But then I was happily surprised to find it in the flavor, especially in the purple-red phenotypes..  The structure of the buds is another of the things that have me and make me fall in love with this strain..   A true work of art🎨🌿🙌..                                            Thanks Barney's🙏..    The amount of trichomes and the aroma is truly exceptional🔝               The final weight of the flowers is divided as follows..                 40g for the purple-red phenotype 21g for the lower one                                                                           The total weight calculation was done after about 40 days of care, with the flowers cleaned in the best possible way, therefore without leaves or parts of the stem..   Also I did not take into consideration the popcorn buds, which I will probably use to make edibles.. As a growth light I used a 205w LED panel of the Black-dog brand, apart from two weeks in the vegetative phase where they were always illuminated by LEDs but of another type, much less powerful and efficient, but which however they did their job..   Speaking of nutrients..  This time I used the greenhouse biobloom powder (70g equally divided between the two of them and the younger sister in the "Cookies on the Kush" diary) for the flowering phase + biobizz biobloom about twice +bio heaven twice + biomagno biomass twice + unsulphured molasses + banana macerate made by me, a couple of times topmax from biobizz and finally at the beginning and halfway through flowering I always gave them an enchancer of green house..   Growing organic and having a water pH always between 6.5 and 7 , 5, I never bothered to check / regulate it.. And everything went well👌..   Towards the end of flowering, especially the larger of the two, it suffered a little overwatering, but nothing to worry about..                                                                              Despite being different phenotypes, I still gave them the exact same quantities of water and fertilizer..  About taste and effect..  The flowers of both had more or less the same aroma, sweet, slightly earthy with some notes of mint in the distance..    Personally my favorite is the one with the violet-red leaves and I think it is the best phenotype of all three, also considering the one in the other diary..  The amount of resin is more or less similar,also the tate too.. The first test was carried out using two vaporizers (mighty and ghost mv1)..  With both I was on temperatures between 180 ° and 195/200 °..  Later, as you can see in the video, I also carried out a test in smoke. Obviously only grass from top to bottom, about 0.7 / 0.8 in a joint..   Organic papers and filter, without glue😉👍..  After drying for 7 days with a whole plant, two days on a branch by branch net, two further days in brown paper bags , and a careful care of about three weeks the flowers, remained hermetically closed for another 20 days in the jar, were perfectly soft and crunchy, going to burn to perfection leaving on the palate a delicate flavor and a velvety smoke both incoming and outgoing.. I think strongly that this is the most important phase where the skill and attention to detail of the grower comes to light😊..   I personally think If the strain is from a competent and serious seed bank, the cultivation phase should simply be a help to grow on the part of the grower..   Once the plant has been cut, it all depends on us..  Patience and constant attention are the two key points🗝️👃👁️..  Going back to the flowers💐.. Going too far on the flavor and effect I think it leaves a little time because it is two very subjective factors..   Honestly, to say that it tastes like real cookies no I can't really🍪🤔..    But one thing is certainly☝️.. The taste is exceptional🤩😍..   Sweet and spicy with earthy notes and something else that I don't recognize..  Kush certainly as a base, but very complex..             Predominantly relaxing effect..   It acts on the body relieving tension, perhaps for someone it can be too relaxing💆‍♂️😴..                                              "I'm a kush guy", and I love what they give💚..    I would use it safely at any time of day, but it is very suitable for the second half of the afternoon onwards.. The joint are only weed, raw organic papers and filters, without glue 😉👌.. At both ends I used the low and light green pheno.. Centrally the red-purple pheno.. The three joints were ignited once and continued to burn evenly until the end.. Halfway through I decided to smoke one alone (the middle one) and the other two together.. Well the middle one (pheno violet) was the tastiest one😋.. In the photos you can also see how much oil is present around the base of the hottest point.. Kush effect, very relaxing, but not necessarily that you can't do anything anymore.. Very mental relaxation.. Top Kush🏆.. It was a little stupid high let's say, but I had fun and I was able to test this "toy" purchased last year in the Bay Area💚.. I hope you enjoy😆🙏 See you next time ✌️

We are close for 2 months,one Month for harvest far,what do you think guys

It has been a great week of growth and no further accidental toppings - first pistils beginning to show at the end of the week. Tops are looking good, forming shape across the net. Stretched branches are being tucked under one square across every 3-4 days. The net is filling up nicely, with some limited pruning below the canopy of both leaves and growth stems. I'm trying to avoid any defoliation on this grow. Fertigating with an inflow EC of >1.4 seems to be moving the run-off EC higher - will maintain higher inflow EC until run-off is within acceptable range. Run-off EC Should be within 300 Points of Inflow EC. Run-off EC still remains below target although now increasing to where it should be. Tracking run-off volume/EC/pH at every fertigation event as I manage the feed EC to monitor what the plant is doing/feeding. Fertigation is maintained now to once a day (at lights on) to maintain the target EC. Light period is during the night time to better maintain heat/humidity conditions during light off period (which happens during daytime). ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The grow setup includes ; - Secret Jardin DS120W tent (120cm x 60cm x 180cm) placed inside the bedroom - Mars Hydro SP250 LED light - extraction fan - AC Infinity Cloudline T6 (gives me great control over the environment) - ventilation fans - aquarium heater for nutrients solution (for winter use only) - small oil heater (for winter use only) - small dehumidifier - 20L Airpots (as final pots) and 3.5L general plastic pots (for seedling stage) - Canna Coco substrate mixed with 40% perlite - GHE Flora Trio as base nutrients and various additives - pH and EC/TDS meters - 2x Govee Thermo/Hygro meters (one at canopy, the other at the roots level - these allow for external monitoring and recording) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Some strain info from Royal Queen Seeds ; An amazing mix of genetics background - Its true genetics are unknown.
