So, had an awful week here, outside temps are rising and my plant is getting fucked up. Super low humidity and super high temps are fucking her right up. Loads of foxtailing, lost all smell, feels kinda crispy despite daily watering. Need rid of this HPS lamp but money is tight so probably just gonna pull the plug entirely. Real shame.

Great week. Added some big bud nutrients and defoliated a bit. The buds are swelling nicely, the Advanced Nutrients is doing its job without a bit of burn.

This will be my first grow. Northern lights x Big bud Auto in Foxfarm happy frog soil. Temperature about 77 average and RH about 50% in my 2 x 3 tent. 🇺🇸Week 3🇺🇸 – Growth Explosion & First Training Back again for this week’s update! The Mother Gorilla is going crazy—she’s growing at an insane pace, and honestly, I couldn’t be happier. The plant is super strong, and the leaves are just massive. Some are reaching up to 21 cm long, which is wild. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that before. And honestly, I have to say—I’m seriously impressed by Formulex from Growth Technology. I’ve been using the same nutrient solution since the start, and the results are just insane. It’s such a simple product, but what it’s delivering so far is absolutely incredible. I’ll be switching to growth fertilizers soon (they’re on the way), but for now, I’m sticking with Formulex, and it’s honestly blowing my mind. Environmental Conditions Not much has changed on that front. The environment is still dialed in: • Temperature: ~22-23°C during the day, 18°C at night. • Nutrient solution temp: Holding steady at 17-18°C. • pH levels: Hovering around 5.8-6.0—had to adjust it slightly during the week, but nothing major. It’s stable overall. • VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit): Still around 0.6, which seems to be working well. As long as it stays below 0.8, I think we’re in the sweet spot. • Humidity: Holding at 70%. Everything’s been pretty stable, and it looks like the plant is loving it. Major Work This Week – Defoliation & Topping This week was huge in terms of plant training. The foliage was getting super dense, so I went in for a heavy defoliation, removing all the big fan leaves. On top of that, I topped the plant—cut the main shoot to redirect energy towards the secondary branches. The goal is to push those side branches so they can take full advantage of the SCROG I just set up! Now, it’s all about recovery. Hopefully, she bounces back strong, and we can really start working that SCROG. Alright, that’s it for this week! Let’s keep an eye on things and see how she responds. La canopée devenait hyper dense, donc j’ai fait une bonne défoliation, en enlevant toutes les grosses feuilles. J’ai aussi topé la plante—j’ai coupé l’apex principal pour rediriger l’énergie vers les branches secondaires. L’idée, c’est de booster les secondaires pour qu’elles profitent à fond du SCROG que je viens d’installer ! Maintenant, elle doit récupérer. J’espère qu’elle va repartir de plus belle et qu’on va vraiment pouvoir bosser ce SCROG. Voilà pour cette semaine ! On garde un œil sur tout ça et on voit comment elle évolue. Sono bellissime! Più o meno era questo il risultato che volevo, non so se raccolgo di nuovo 400 gr ma ci dovrei andare vicino, devo comunque migliorare la fase vegetativa, sono lontano dal mezzo kg che ho raccolto lo scorso anno. Ad ogni modo sono soddisfatto, i tricomi iniziano a diventare ambrati, soprattutto la pianta di sinistra, che è sicuramente più avanti di maturazione rispetto all'altra, come si può vedere anche dal colore delle foglie. La pianta più matura penso che la raccoglierò tra una settimana, l'altra vediamo. Nel frattempo ho di nuovo svuotato i vasi e messo acqua liscia con flawless finish, tra 3 giorni la cambio di nuovo e questa volta dovrebbe essere migliore di gusto rispetto all'ultima volta che era tanto bella ma un pochino forte. 🍀😎🎉🎊🍀🍀🍀

there are very few amber trichomes, so it still needs a week. it sure looks great though. It's extremely greasy to the touch, and rank with bright fruit flavor.

Mild defoliation throughout this week. Flush imminent so will leave the remaining fans as nute banks. Next run with these genetics I'll be running a monstercropped clone under this scrog and will go heavier with the defoliation earlier on. I was advised this on here this grow and did a bit but have learned I need more! Forever learning. Looks like it's gonna be an epic harvest. These girls smell absolutely dank. Testament to the quality of these Madame Grow Fertilisers. Harvest just get better every time! Also big shout out to my bro at NatureDelight.co.uk providing some awesome organics to add into the grow schedule. Used The Active Sugar Boost all through flower at 3ml per litre this run and I think the results speak for themselves. I cannot implore you guys enough to go check this stuff out. Day 12F-19F (May 3rd - May 10th) (Day 13) Pots are still super heavy and I don’t see these things drying out anytime soon so we’ll see over the next few days. Still no signs of overwatering. (Day 14) I’m going to do a little lst. Better late than never and since the pots are saturated the stems are bendier. I noticed they were quite droopy during lights off but are praying by lights on. (Day 16) Man these things are filling out slow. I’m going to drop the light a few inches and see if that helps at all. Definitely no early trichs. (Day 19) So I haven’t had to water at all in the last 10 days and the pots are still quite heavy. Oddly enough, I still see no signs of overwatering. Perlite did it’s job I guess.

- Lowering nutes for ripening - Bucket has 3.5 gal - Lowered micro nutes from 2 to 0.9, bloom nutes from 7.5 to 2.5, and cal mag from 5 to 2.5. hydro stays the same - Still cutting nutes in half and feeding twice a week, every 3-4 days - Possible light burn?

😅😅Girls were developed by different methods one were topped when she has only two nodes (third I topped), second was only LSTed. They were transplanted once from 10L bag to 20L bags. Topped roots developed much better then untouched had. Topped growed for about 71 day, and untouched 72. Wife noticed mold on few colas, I cutted them and cut out the affected areas. Bushes were Ripenning for about 12 days, Unfortunately I didn't flushed them at all. So topped girl was putted to hermetic container and placed in freezing camera exactly from cutting. Secon one I putted to growbox under the out fan. I bought vacuum pump and jars, and dry topped by quick freezing method. And untouched was dryed by usual way. After all results are: Wet weight: Topped: 450g buds&stems; Untouched: 380g buds&stems. Dry weight: Untouched: 80g buds, 10g stems; Topped: 110g buds, 13g stems. This is my firs grow, I think its great result. The common mistakes are: uncontrolled environment ph, humidity, and that I stopped plant growing height with early low distance to the lamp. Thanks Bulks for great genetics .: 1: Awesome strain, Great, really easy to grow, I think if I had fan I could easily avoid mold. This is my wife’s and I first grow and we’re really excited about it even though we’re on a super budget! Here’s a few tips about our set up: Our MarsHydro 1000 Broke So we’ve been using multiple factory in workshop LEDs and lights to ghetto rig a budget late set up. Any advice would be more than welcomed!
