I had fun with this barneys gorilla zkittlez, although it seems like it was ready around 7 weeks, its as if the plant has been in the early stages of self seeding when I've harvested on day 54~ of flower.. Can't think any other reason why this would've happened Anyway overall the bud is 95% amazing, just a slight sadness at the miniscule seeds forming close to the stems in the centre of some buds that takes away from the taste a little

Growth has been steady and everything is thriving right now. Might need to get a new dehumidifier soon mine is starting to shit the bed so RH levels are a little high with lights out but the heater keeps them low enough to get by at this point. I removed all the fan leaves on these 2 around day 17 and they didnt skip a beat. I already cut one of 3 pots I put one to dry and another 2 pots I’m doing the flush this week.

The plants are ready to be chopped and hung for 3-5 days. I removed all the fans leaves and left them all branches on the main stem. The ladies smell so strong I can wait to see how they turn out when they are dried and cured. 1) I plan to hang them for 3-5 days @ 71 f and 50-55 RH, 2) Do a final tight trim 3) Than I will move them to jars and cure for 2-3 weeks I will update the diary with harvest pictures & weight before I move them to the jars for curing. I think the seeds might have got mixed up when packing because these three plants were all supposed to be the same and you can clearly tell from the pictures that they are not.

a new grow is on the cards. it will be a race between two fast-flowering varieties. On one side we have fast buds with gorilla cookies and on the other side zamnesia with green crack F1. i'm trying to create the same conditions for both as much as possible. it will be an outdoor grow in an autopot flexipot system. both will get the same fertilisation and have the same substrate to grow in. the substrate is a mix of expanded clay from Plagron and coconut fibres from Canna. The fertiliser comes from Hesi. germination went very well. i first put the seed in water for 24 hours and then placed it in a wet paper towel for another 24 hours. the seed germinated after a total of 48 hours. then i planted it in the coco substrate and after another 48 hours the seedling broke through the soil and got its first rays of sunshine. it will be my last outdoor grow for this year and i'm looking forward to seeing how the plants grow in late summer.😋

I applied too much pressure and main cola broke during final LST. I would call it super cropping if she wasn't in flowering faze already. She will recover but I doubt she will manage to reach full potential. Sprayed with boom boom spray. 20 ml orgatrex per plant and 10ml BIO P-K. Connected on auto-pot as I am gone for a week. Sun-Light EVO 80 grow light increased on 100% (Out of 4 levels I was increasing power every 2 weeks app). Light eight increased to 50 cm.

Flower is upon us and now the journal is caught up. I will be giving weekly updates at this point as they happen, playing catch-up is over but I did want to get my journey started on this site. Still a relatively new grower and I have plenty to learn.

Week 6 flower, half way there! Buds are starting to fill in now and getting some decent frost. A couple of tops are getting more light than others, and fattening a bit more and looking real nice. It looks like there is some purple starting to come out at the tops. She is strong and will go as fast as the soil and environmental conditions will allow her to. Hand watered in Gaia Green Soluble Seaweed Extract 0-0-17, otherwise water drip is running on same schedule. Just using straight tap water that sits in a 30 gallon reservoir with a submergible water pump running 24/7 breaking surface and aerating water. Water comes out the tap @ 7ph and less than 15ppm. Veg Week 3 Day 21 to 27 - 4/17 to 4/23 A lot more to talk about this week. It's topping and transfer week. I started the week off (day 21exactly) by making sure I had at least 5 to 6 nodes of growth and topped P1 down to the 4th node and P2 down to the 2nd node as a test. (typically I top to the 3rd) I also removed all other node branches and fan leaves and usual. I left a large stump in my tops so the nodes can use it to grow around and help support the larger weight of a mature plant. I gave a couple of days of recovery while I hand spread the nodes daily to train the new waterways through the nodes. I changed my schedule and watered a day after and then transferred the plants into their forever pots/top watered in Feed this week was .5gal transfer and top feed at 100ppm total before add-ins. I used 100ppm Veg concentrate mix (recipe week 2) I then also added 1ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) and ph balance this week was for 6.2 Feed plan next week will be a final top feed of .5gallon and then turn the reservoir on. Diese erste Woche ist für mich nicht zufrieden stellend. Farbe aller Ladies zu hell, Wachstum in meinen Augen gehemmt da für 7 Tage zu klein. Problem ist noch nicht erkannt, da ich zum ersten mal Advanced Nutrients und das erste mal Autoflowering Seeds nutze. Die Energiesparlampe die ich schon seit Jahren verwende (bei kleinen Töpfen 1 l) war jetzt nicht gut da die Seeds direkt in die großen Töpfe gesetzt wurden und somit der Abstand und Ausleuchtung schlecht waren. Das war bei photoperiodischen Pflanzen kein Problem da immer 2 mal umtopfen. Daher heute der Umstieg auf eine Metal Halogen Lampe 250 Watt. Mal sehen was die nächste Woche bringt. Da ich nur mit Regenwasser gieße habe ich zu dem Advanced Nutrients Sortiment heute noch cal mag gekauft, da auch dies ein Thema sein könnte. Gestartet bin ich mit dem Dünger an Tag 5 mit der hälfte des Düngeplans… ist das so okay? Temperatur und Luftfeuchtigkeit kann ich als Problem ausschließen da die Werte gut waren

I've mixed silica with other nutes before but I had read something earlier about bioavailability issues and I didn't want to risk it. My plants are the healthiest I've ever grown. I'm considering transplanting the large 10th planet that I'm light depping. I also need to develop my ipm and my nute schedule. Still gonna have to keep an eye onvthe water situation. Luckily I have a buddy in my corner that's co tinualkt Bern a great help. WENT BACK OVER AROUND NOON. BEAUTIFUL OUTSIDE AND THE PLANTS WERE LOVING THIS SUN. I mixed two gallons of kelp you kelp me and fed it to the garden. Afterwards I pointed qbd found a couple plants that were more open to the wind were a little lighter. I know tomorrow will be very hot. Maybe quarter inch of rain. However after that it will rain (showers) off and on for days. I wanted to make sure the girls had what the needed to make it through tjis heat wave until they get that rain. I had another gallon mixed up and I'm thinking I should've given it to them. Oh well. I'd rather underwater than overwater any day. I did notice a burnt top on the plant furthest from the tarp that the sun JUST BARELY TOUCHES when the rest are in shade. I'll just raise the tarp a little. These are tiny problems. Can't upload video until tomorrow. 6/24 Good thing u gave the plants that water. I know it wasn't much but we didn't get any rain. Suppised to get a qtr in today and another qtr in tomorrow. Then rain a couple more days. It's working our really good for my watering schedule lol. Yesterday the girls got there first dose of a bottled nute. They got two gallons of kelp me kelp you (1/3 tsp per gallon) and another gallon of just phed water. I was going to do another gallon but held off due to the threat of syring rain. Didn't get it bur it looks like the plants loved the kelp. It had reached 90 yesterday. They look better today. It's 70 at 9 today. I LST the 10th planet in the 3 gallon. It's getting huge. I should start a separate diary for those three light dep plants. Its cool as hell watching this. One of the purple punches is flowering pretty good. I probably should start another diary for them. I'll be starting to feed my plants soon. Wondering if I should pinch plants again. I'm surprised how well these girls withstood this storm. They are certainly resilient. The 2 purple punch 1 10th planet that I'm light depping are flowering nicely now. They missed all the commotion from the storm as they were inside. It's smelling good. I'm happy. 6/26 It's what a friend would say is "maineing") out. That mistcthe plants love. I'm surprised the plants are doing as good as they have been considering the wind. Will be adding nutes soon. Need to add extra supports too. Light dep 6/27 Brief periods or torrential downpours. Light depped 3 gallon 0lants are under an overhanfcwhete the hatsxrain can't hurt them but they still get sun. They are really starting to flower now! I'm going to begin feeding with a base nute and a flower nute I think. I'm thinking about giving the light dep some open sesame or something similar. I need to set up a nute program soon but the plants ALL look so healthy! And it's been raining! I've only watered like once or twice since they've been in the big pots. I've seen zero pests aside from a chunk missing from a grasshopper. Usually by now I'd have battled half a dozen things and be battling another half dozen. However I was posing from clones. These are seeds and boy don't I see the difference!

Noticed some slight tacoing on leaves, changed to my 18/6 light schedule to help control temps and give some rest. Noticed some nute burning also, will full flush next week.

Entered our first week of flower. The lights were a tad low so I raised them a couple inches to sit at 12 inches. The girls are doing great. No deficiencys and they are looking happy. Thanks for stopping by.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil.
