We are nearing the end of this journey with the 5 White Widow Autoflowers from ILGM genetics During week 12 Continued watering with regular PH'd water every 2 to 3 days. Checking tricomes with a jewelers loop every few days. The plants are smelling super potent now coming into week 8 of flower! Buds are super resinous and extremely sticky. Week 13 Last week before chop! The plan is to see how the plants look nearing the end of week 13. My current grow tent is the same tent I use to dry so this may get tricky! ILGM has grow time listed as between 10-14 weeks so Im right in that final phase. Stay tuned for up close shots of the final stage of these plants. I will include final photos, wet weight, and final dry yield in upcoming posts. 👽

This week has been good both plants are growing great with no problems in there transition to flower they jus started to stretch so I hung the 600 watt lamp at 24 in and will lower it as they flower but a very productive week so far. Gonna add nutes at the end of this week so they will have some nutes to fall back on when bud sites appear

About to start week 8 of flush

Good day to all my friends and visitors here on GD. The finale grow week for the first Tropicanna XL is there (the one by the wall), she came out just lovely and the smell is mad. I could use it as perfume it's so rich and fruity, never had a plant with such outstanding fragrance. This week we start of changing the reservoir water to which I decided to add nutrients. Yes, this plant will not get a flush before harvest, it's the first time i'm not flushing a plant for the cut but you know only two of the four girls are ready to chop and it's not possible in my RDWC to seperate feed them. So yes it's kind of an experiment for me...some time ago i heard that "man does not need to flush"... yeah I don't really believe what the white coats tell us but then we watched Dr Bruce Bugbee stating the same thing and he quoted experiments performed by his team... I believe him, and I don't really have much choice. Something's not right with my fresh solution or the plants get root rot or something but the girls starting to show K deficiency...I ended up adding an insane amount of PK through the week...good that the plants are on the finish line :) The SE7000 runs at 550 Watt and about 33cm from the canopy and is doing an astounding job. Started this diary in the 6th week. Have been following this website for a while now but finally decided to post. Now entering the 6th week of Veg Here i have 5x Marmalade which looks lovely and absolutely brolic. Really easy to handle and responds well to the enviroment. They stand at rougly 22-25 inches tall wheras the blue gelato stands at around 18inches. Will flip later on this week. This is my first in coco usually i use the rdwc rush system. But enjoying being hands on with the coco. Using spider farmers SF 4000 currently on 100%

13th - Checked the power usage data from the AC unit and the Smart logs: around the time heat stress on #1 occurred the AC barely turned on. New zigbee sensor is working well it seems! CO2 tank is almost completely empty. I lost a fair bit from a few incidents I suppose, maybe a lot more than I thought!?.. ..want to look into stopping CO2 when AC is running with smart power switch and app. 14th - CO2 tank depleted. Setup smart plug on CO2 regulator, works fairly well. Occasionally stays on for a bit more than it should, but then self corrects. I can take that as an improvement.. 15th 16th - Replenished water tank - TDS 650 , gave both a good soak, runoff was 1200 initially and eventually down to 800. 17th - Concerned about density - have clipped several sappy buds growing into already thick areas - hoping to improve ventilation within the canopy. Rotated the pots a bit and adjusted the tie downs.

'Not all those who wander are lost' What started out as an experiment, turned out to be an adventure of epic proportions. What hangs here behind me smells like the weed I knew in the 80's, skunky and full. But look at those buds. DAAAAANG.... These are the biggest buds Ive ever grown, I didn't know what darkness precisely did before.... now I know... My god after a few days they oooze cristal liquid from all its holes. They are greasy and sticky, full of weight and I think well hit the 300 grams per plant with this one, taking our total to 600 grams what would be 2 grams per watt used. If that's so, Ill never use another light again! Thank you Mars Hydro for letting us try it. And by god so should anyone wanting to up their growing game. So, with these interesting times and what is becoming a fast evolving global catastrophe. I, myself, along with the rest of you ( I hope ) can take some solace in looking after our gardens, to have some peace away from the news, to give our ladies the best care we are able to provide 🌱 If you ever needed any vindication or validation as to why growing your own is best. More than half the world currently in lockdown, and with MJ in short supply, our actions speak for themselves! Anyway, back to this diary. I done a lot of work on the room, invested a lot and tried to make everything as automated as possible. Everything runs on smart plugs, the hydroponic system is DIY and is RDWC which is cooled with a Hailea 150a. 6 plants is what I am going for this time, with a shorter veg length compared to the last grow. I prefer to wait until they show their sex, but if they don’t by week 5, I plan on flipping anyway all being well. I am using 730nm LED’s that come on 15 mins before lights on, turn off during lights on, and then they come back on when lights go out, and stay on for 15 mins. This should enable me to run 13/11 during flower with little risk. I am also going to add a UVB fixture to my custom rig which will only be used during the final 2 weeks of flower. I have 3 Alibaba lights attached to a custom rig, they really are awesome lights. I tested the room out with an Apogee SQ-520 par meter (PAR map in pics). I have dimmed them down, so PAR is around 500 across the whole canopy, this will be increased to 1000 once they’re flipped. I vent from my house, to the room and then outside, this increases the CO2 in the room, which I think helped the yields on the last grow, generally CO2 hovers between 470 and 700 PPM. My ladies look a little sick, but tbh, I struggle starting out in Rockwool, and things usually correct themselves within a couple weeks. With the quarantine I have struggled to pick up a humidifier that is capable of maintaining that room, so it has been all over the place since the start. I have opted to go with Royal Gorilla this cycle, let’s see if it’s as potent as RQS says that it is! Good luck all and take care...

Well another epic this week. The girls are looking very tasty indeed now! I have now harvested one plant on day 57. It was a tad early for her but she started looking pretty bad for some reason. Potentially started the flush on her a little early or could have been root rot. Either way the plant was chopped to ensure buds were saved. She weighed a cracking 550g wet, and dry was about 100g. This was the girl that was completely untouched, no defoliation etc complete virgin ;). Unfortunately the RH was high I ordered a dehumidifier but they sent me a faulty one and by time had a new one was too late some mould was starting to occur on the girls in a few places. I was over cautious and slung around 25g of buds that were near the mould just to ensure it didn’t spread to the rest of the plant. I also sped the drying up and placed in brown paper bags for last 2 days to suck the remaining moisture off after a full trim and inspection. The girls took a total of 5 days to dry and are now curing. They were a bit “hay” like in smell and taste but this was probably because of all the problems listed above. She is starting to smell much better after a couple of days of curing though so my faith is restored that the remainder of the buds may be quite good still! The last 3 girls have been going lovely, and starting to bring in some purple colours to the sugar leaves which are quite nice, all the trichomes are nice and cloudy and just starting to go amber. I will be harvesting on day 66 as this will allow me a good period of time to trim them fully into reasonable size buds and dry in my hanging net in the tent to ensure no mould problems again. For the last 3 days I have been flushing with 30L of water to ensure they are completely free of nutrients as again think this maybe another factor on the not so nice smelling/tasting buds from the first girl. I will give 2 days to fully dry the soil out bone dry before I cut them down. Happy I took her down early as it’s allowed me to ensure I have 3 good plants left and the remainder of the grow/dry/cure should go smoothly as know what I am doing now.

Got 2304 into her final home in a 3 gallon pot, I used grow dots at 1 table per gallon of medium and made the bottom 3rd of the soil a little hot with fresh ocean Forrest soil, and purple cow non manure compost.. and moved her to my new ac infinity 3x3 tent... she's showing off a bit, I did some early training with garden staples however when she gets a little bigger I'll be replacing the staples for bamboo steaks and garden wire to stretch her out for maximum light penetration!

Forgive my language but I fucking love this plant. She is just a beast only restricted by the 5l pot I shackled her to.. but considering the pit size the main on this thing is offensive! It is a dirty great big donkey dong that smells like fresh fruit.. I'm confused 😜😜. She needs another 2 weeks to finish I think but because of how fat her main is I'm quite concerned about rot. I've set triggers to keep my room at 50% and temps at 24c. I'm getting within +/- 2c and Rh is actually more like a 48%. I will ease off the feeds of npk after the next feed which will be around a 1.5ec. then she will get just water .. Thanks for stopping by on my strawberry adventure. Grow well 👍🏼💚🌿🇬🇧
