This week went by quickly. They're doin their Pre-Flower stretch and getting big quickly!! I added my Pre-Flower mix to them this week. My Nutrient Pre-Flower Mix consists of H20, Coconut, Bananas, Pineapple, Sweet Potatoes, Kelp, Alfalfa Meal, All Organic Non-Pasturized Whole Milk, Epsom Salts, Black Strap Molasses, and L.A.B. or Lactic Acid Bacteria. First, I boiled the coconut, pineapple, sweet potatoes, the bananas, and left the skins on as well except the coconut of course! That I had to split in half and make sure to keep the water inside to add to the boil. After boiling everything I then let it cool and then added it to a blender to blend little by little. After blending I left separate and placed into the fridge. Then I took 1 Tbsp of Alfalfa Meal and 2 Tbsp of Kelp, 500mL of the milk, 2 Tbsp of Epsom Salts, and mixed them in a 750 mL bottle. Then I took 1L of the mix and added 2 Tbsp of L.A.B. and 2 Tbsp of Black Strap Molasses and then shook the bottle well! Then I took the 750mL bottle and the 1L bottle and fed that to the plants adding 250 mL of pH H2O to the plant as well to flush the ingredients all into the plant with the H20. I wanted to also note that I choose to slowly defoliate so that the plant doesn't go into shock and also fan leaves collect light in all spectrums so taking too many off at a time could hurt or slow the growth of your plant! The amount of light your plant takes in daily is called DLI or Daily Light Index. Overall, they're really growing and have a ton of bud sites developing! I'm excited to see the growth weekly and their colors!

Harvesting during week 12 flower, they took so long because the mistakes i made during the grow, dont forget when u make mistakes like mine they need longer to finish flower, usually +- 2 weeks Biggest mistakes were taking too long to transfer my ladys in the rdwc system (sort of rootbound?, check photo's) and burning my roots at week 3 of flower because of this they werent be able to take any nutrients in my opinion. Although this happened, im happy with the grow, it was my first rdwc grow and happy with the results!! I have tons of lil tops but its still good quality and they add up to a total of 580 grams!! ( 360G right plant and 220g from the plant on the left Definitely going for another round, this strain has alot of potential! -- day 29 -- Started week 5 off with watering the plants. The nutrients from the soil are probably used by now so I'm adding a first small dose of Alga Grow. -- day 30 -- Its been 10 days since I changed the lights to 12/12. Switched the lights to full capacity with the bloom mode on. -- day 31 -- I'm already seeing the first signs of flowering today. Noticed first signs of light burn so raised the lights to 55 cm above canopy. -- day 32 -- Watered the plants with 2 ml/l alga grow + 2 ml/l bloom. -- day 34 -- I think I've been too cautious with nutrients. Plants are relatively light green colored. Not sure if I mentioned this before but I chose to schedule my lights so that they turn on at 22:00 and off at 10:00 in the morning. I did this because the room warms up with lights on and keeps the temperature up at night without any heating on to save energy. Only disadvantage; I can only look at my plants in the morning and late evening ;)

Week 28: Watering every 3 days with 3 gallons of water, nutrients at 650 ppm. leaves are dying, some are fading and others have deficiencies. Some buds have swollen stacked calyxes bursting open with fire orange pistils covered in frost. I think these buds could go another 2 weeks but depending on the circumstances I might have to chop early.

Well, week 11 has started today 8/15. So blessed to have gotten this far! I'll be flipping the lights tomorrow to begin to start flowering. I have both my tents linked up so I don't have to run two separate exhausts! Now that the stress part is over time to sit, enjoy some puffs and continue focusing my energy! It works great but not enough for me. But it is great if you need to go in during the dark cycle for whatever reason. Or you can get yourself a lamp and a green grow room bulb! Just fed water for the last week, had to dry in a drying rack due to lack of space. Nice flowers. Both plants look very similar but both smell different to each other. Both smell nice. Will update.
