I had a close call with the Purple Berry Kush. I was setting up another timer and somehow, left them with no rest for 48 hours. I only noticed when the performance spread between two tents emerged. Heat - light was too high- they looked wilted and tired Indica is sensitive to too strong a light right, i saw what looked like the start of nitrogen deficiency, so i popped them into the 20l grow bags. gave them water no nutrient that day. then back in line as normal following day- full nutrient cycle. they,re back now seedlings for the other diary looking strong and healthy. couple pics, nothing exciting, excuse the nutrient splash on the birthday cake :D- hope everyone is well out there.

I don't even know where to put this I've lost track. Still feeding everyday. The first pistols appeared about 5 weeks in and then the plants just kept growing. I've moved them To a 4x4 and switched the lights to 12-12 about a week ago. Seen to be starting to bud

And then lastly, but certainly not least, a heartfelt Thank-you to Royal Queen Seeds for your branding/research while making these seeds available to people like me. It gives me confidence in knowing that I am working with great genetics before I even start my grow. ---------------------------- Germination Start and incubation period 3/12/24 to 3/26/24 Transfer Day to Veg Day 6 3/27 to 4/2 Germination: First note was about the appearance of the seeds. They were smaller than I am used to seeing, but no damage or deformities and look to be in good shape. Germination took 14 days from dropping in water to transplanting into 1 gallon pots. 23hours in a glass of 6.3ph room temp RO water. 2 cracked open a little and I placed them both in paper towels wet with the glass water and pasted to the sides of the glass for 2 days then checked, no progress. So I freshened the water then waited another 2 days and checked, little to no progress. Then checked again 1 day later and finally was able to move them. One looked fully ready and the other seemed less ready. I placed in rapid rooter pods and closed with toothpick tips. 1 popped out of the pods in 1 day but the other did not. So I gave it 1 more day and started my spare seed. After 4 days of water and towels I replaced the dead pod with a growing sprout. Transplant occurred on 3/27 Veg Day 0 to 6 1gal hard tall pots. Transplant went well. The sprouts are smaller than I would like and seem to be stubborn in growth to start but hoping htat changes with soil. One pod was overgrown in the pods and Im hoping it doesn't reflect in the overall plant production. Video: Transplant ease. Transplant to 1 gal pots: I am using a 50/50, 50%perlite/50%soil with a .5lb of dolomite lime and a .5ml of flora micro added to .5 gallon of RO water (Im mixing 2 gallons of soil total so the water to soil ratio is 1/4 of the total medium volume) to achieve a soil tested ph of 6.4. I am using a 50/50 soil/perlite mix because I plan to use these in auto pots. I also used about 1 cup of the same soil mix water to pour around the plant after transplant; you can see how the perlite rises to the top where I did this. I sprayed two domes and covered - I plan to leave covered for the first week. Feed: I kept them under the domes and sprayed every day that I didnt feed them, to keep humidity up while I let them find water in the soil. By the end of the week I took the domes off and took pictures. Feed this week was another 1 cup of 6.3ph water 5 days after transplant. Feed plan next week will increase the amount to 2 cups of plain-no-nute water with about 4 days between feeds. I want to see the water run through so if I need to use more than 2 cups I will. The idea is to water deep and through, but then make them search for more before the next feed, hopefully spreading the roots out while doing it. Veg Plan: I plan on 8 colas for each plant. So that will be 3 topping days and a total of 7 cuts. I will want to cut the first time on day 21 if I have 5+ nodes. I will transfer to 5 gallon auto pots with-in 1 week of the first topping. Once I have 3 nodes of new growth past the first topping, I will top those two branches to the first node again. (that's 3 cuts total by this point) Then, after 3 new nodes of growth after that, I will do a last topping on the 4 branches. (4 new cuts added to make a total of 7 cuts and 8 colas) I will train the branches using LST/HST with tie downs as soon as I can after the first topping day to help maintain the branches growing where I want them to. I will also introduce an adjustable tomato ring after they have settled into the 5 gallon forever pots to provide support and mobility Hopefully all goes well, and I will have 1 to 2 weeks of growth before flip after week 8. I think it sounds more ambitious than it really is, but if you follow this journal, we will see together.

(gave her 100ml of just PH 6.5 water) 27/10/2019 - Feeding day, gave her 250ml water with 0.25ml Biobizz Grow, 6.4PH (changed feeding to once every 2 days with a plain water interval) 28/10/2019 - Started LST 30/10/2019 - Feeding day, gave her 250ml water with 0.25ml of each Biobizz - Grow,Bloom and Max, 6.3PH, added carbon filter and it raised the temps to 29c 31/10/2019 - A tad too much of nuts, little burn tip. Well I chopped this lady today at week 11 day 5 she smells and looks fantastic Smoke review : The hit is very smooth due too the extra long flush I did , and although the smell isn't great yet because it's now right at the start of cure , It's a nice body glow with an intense head trip with a mellow bubble , And that is after a small bong , I really like it , I would recommend growing this and would grow again , thanks for reading and following if that was you , Stay medicated and be bless Jah Rastafari blessing and love And the buds are nice and dense , will update once dry and cured :)

We have lift-off! She has stretched her little heart out this past week. This growth spurt inevitably came with a load of foliage, so I've been defoliating through the week - just a little each day - to keep the airflow nice. She is loving the Bud Explosion. Bud sites are starting to swell up nicely, and the fragrant aroma is getting more and more every day, quite zesty, very citrus. More lemony than orange at the moment, but still early days. The first hint of frost is beginning to set in, and she is looking a very healthy plant, hopefully should get some nice trichome production. This is my first photo-period plant, and in all honesty it's gone a lot smoother than some of the autos I've grown! No deficiencies, no pH or EC issues, no heat stress :) I deliberately gave it a long veg time so it didn't feel rushed, but moving forward I wouldn't want to have 1 plant taking up that much space for that long. SOG might be the way to go, but that's for another day. Current feeding: CalMag: 0.5ml / liter Megacrop: 5.5 grams / gallon Bud Explosion: 1.5 grams / gallon Will be running PK 13/14 for a week, probably starting some point this week when I next need to change the res. pH is currently 6 in the res, rising to 6.1 / 6.2 in the autopot tray. This week I pruned and defoliated heavy. Removed every fan leaf and removed everything before the scrog. I didn't get as horizontal as I would have liked but I'm hopeful I won't burn tops bcuz I'm close, lucky I have the light rail moving the light atotal of 3 feet back and forth allowing me to use more intense like but in spurts. Also the co2 bag and co2 bucket really seem to be helping. Topdressed with endgame and loaded up with basilus, activated em1, orca, great white, king crab, mammoth p, ohn, yucca, alow flakes, count powder, root wise poder and enzymes. Also weekly to every other week I make compost tea from boogie brew. All my water is treated with drops of balance and I also collect and use rainwater. I have an irrometer and run from 10 to 15 kps

So my sacrificial CF3 clone is in flower. I'm spraying her with silver now. The change is 3 weeks away. I have transplanted 9 of the 10 Citrus Farmer S1 tester's in some shitty soil. That's right miracle grow soil... with extra perlite. Because that is what a normal person would do, shop home depot and buy some soil. So let's see how this works out. #5 was chosen to be different. They all are similar all have had thrips and a fucked up regimen. All look like mom (CF3) too similar. But that is a good thing. I will decide who gets pollinated from here... #5 will get pollinated. The last few pics are of 2 CF3 clones I have going for fresh personal flower. They are starting to look nice.

Que pasa familia, ya estamos de vuelta y empezamos la primera semana de floración, ya cambiamos el ciclo a 12/12 , y ya marco su sexo, es hembra. Pues seguimos controlando ph, lo bajamos un poco a 6,2 a ver si chupan mejor los nutrientes, temperatura y humedad controlados, siempre dentro de los parámetros correctos, hemos bajado un poco la distancia del foco, ahora en floración lo agradecerán. Así que esto es todo, ya veis que va bien tiene buen color y no hay problema ninguno, nos vemos la semana que viene fumetillas.

These buds were giants, fat and sticky, the aroma of these plants was very robust with heavy aromas with subtle hints of citrus, fruity sweetness, with hints of sour diesel, I could swim in the smell, these buds just blew me away!

A sad week, I found bud rot and had to take my plants out and do a big check and remove all dense underdeveloped growth. It will be a pretty big hit on the yield I guess but the most important thing is learning and that I did. The bud rot could spread due to my RH being 65/70 at nights and it used to be +80 before, + bad airflow. I got new fans in the tent and my dehumidifier was ordered already but its not in yet. On the other side, the plants are looking pretty damn good, they smell amazing and 3 of the 4 plants is getting a very dense nug structure.
