Day 14 Flowering: Good afternoon Growmies. I hope we are all getting some sunshine and have enjoyed Easter. Munchies and Easter are made for us guys!. lol The 3 Fast girls have been racing to get the tallest during their stretch period so far. It is clear to see the Mexican Airline has the lead there , even with my supercropping her 5th node to try to hold her back a little. She really is a lanky lady and without some l.s.t or tying , she would be very tall.. Bud sites are looking good so far and only time is needed now to see how she plans to fill those stems. Strawberry Pie is similar in height and stretch to the Mexican. Nice airflow underneath and her general size is good. Nice and healthy green with no signs of any issues. Six-shooter is the small girl who doesn't want to be messed with it seems. She is ambling along at a steady pace untouched and is a slightly lighter shade of green to the others by genetics I think now but I will keep my eye on this a little more in case a def hits. They are still stretching slightly but slowing down now. all good and as it should be be safe growmies. until next week

Still in the HPS tent but now they are under the LED again and doing pretty well as the roots are filling the pots out they are eating faster. Did a couple foliar feeds with the Growzyme at less than 1 ML/Gal which they seem to like. Hoping to get a little more vertical growth before they kick into flower. Also been doing some bottom feeding which I have been experimenting with a little bit. It seems to increase rate of growth and the plants seem a little happier when I do a few feeds like that in a row. Edit: 1st January 2020 I started playing with making time laps video. You can see the first trial video over 28h period. It starts a bit slow cuz I was still figuring out the shooting interval. The second half of the video is shot with 1 picture every 1,5min, and I love it! It looks like the Criticals could use more, while the slowest of the Gorillas... well, she is slow, so she needs less. The temperature gets a bit low here, but won’t do anything about it, I don’t want to spend more on the electric bill then I already do. I’m looking forward for my friend to come and pick up the DWC GZ so I can have some more space to stretch out the rest of the girls. Today (Mon. 17. June) she is 11 weeks old, and still barely showing any signs of aging. Some buds have more orange pistils, other less, but the majority of buds just grew a little bit fatter, without much visual difference otherwise. Maybe a bit more frosty. I think the flowers still look much to young, to start checking trichomes (please comment if you think otherwise), but lets see what happens till the end of the week. Her fragrance is more fruity now. Still not a very strong smell. Not that we need to worry about this too much in Germany anymore, but we also don't want to piss off the neighbors with pungant smell. But so far that is not really an issue.

Sep 21: fall is here with 12 h of darkness and hopefully she picks up the flowering pace while the weather and sunlight are still okay. Sep 27: this sativa pheno is progressing but it is a bit too slow for this area. If I had forced it with 12 h darkness in mid-July it would have worked, but instead I just phyto-forced with a 730 nm far red light starting about Aug 1. The red light is enough for the indica type plants to finish in time here, but it doesn’t seem to be enough for the sativas. Whatevs, I have more than enough and this will all be going for hash anyway. Sativas can be grown here but they need to be forced by light deprivation in July and not just phyto-forced starting in August. Sep 29: two week forecast is suddenly much better so she’s still got a chance to finish properly. Fingers crossed. It hit 0 C here last night and daytime high of only 8-9C so we’re mostly done for the season.

Hello Growmies, As we round up week 5 with our Watermelon Candy F1 Hybrid by Zamnesia, the growth has been nothing short of impressive. The choice to employ low-stress training (LST) rather than topping has paid dividends, with the plants responding well to the gentle guidance of their growth, seamlessly integrating into the SCROG setup. This method has allowed for an even canopy spread, optimal light penetration, and air flow, which is critical for the health of the plants and ultimately the yield. Observing the Watermelon Candy's development, we see a testament to our cultivation methods. The vibrant green leaves reaching skywards, the sturdy stems, and the strategic placement of each branch in the SCROG—every detail points towards a successful vegetative phase. In terms of environmental control, we've applied the lessons learned from our other strains, maintaining a stable and ideal VPD during the day with the Tent-X system. The nights, however, have brought forth the same challenges we've faced with other strains, showing fluctuations in VPD levels. The integration of the Smart Mars Hydro fan into the Tent-X system is anticipated to solve this, and we are optimistic that this change will bring about the consistent conditions needed for the Watermelon Candy's continual thriving. Even with the small hiccup in the nighttime environmental control, the plants are flourishing. The robust health they exhibit is a sign they're ready for the flowering phase, and we expect nothing less than a bountiful harvest. And while we've experienced a bit of frustration with Secret Jardin and Mars Hydro for the integration challenges, we appreciate TrolMaster's efforts to assist. We are hopeful for a resolution soon, or we may revert to the reliable Prima Klima setup. Building up! Hey pals, this week went pretty fine, she finally stopped stretching at 99cm and the lady drinks like never before. Buds are finally building up. I count to give the next weeks just plain water to flush away all the nuts she absorbed during the cycle. Smell start to be strong, but a sort of sweat and delicate smell... hmmm like a Gelato cream 😍😍😍🍨🍨🍨... Delicious... Some buds are more mature than others and the main branches are far away from being ready. I cannot wait to update this diary in the next 2 weeks and see how she get. Little bit of a delay. Wanted to get climate perfect before the flip. Upgraded ventilation and have the tent dialed in well at 74 degrees and 60% humidity during day and 70deg/ 55% at night. Started a second scrog on Day 42. Nervous about the stretch but hopefully I can maintain it (I wish T5 lights could flower...) Did extensive trimming underneath clearing pretty much anything that will never reach the ceiling of green above it. Day 45 marks last day of Veg Day 46 marks first day of flower AND. HERE. WE. GO.

chopped #1 on 1/21/25 started curing today 1/27/25 chopped #5 on 1/23/25 still hanging and drying. will update with weights and smoke reports and more pictures when dried and cured #1 33 grams. nice big nugs. i really like how the mainline turned out with the final product #5 32 grams smaller buds overall but the yeild is very similar. these are weights after trimming. i did a fairly heavy trim on thesr 2 plants. this diary started with 5 plants but because of my perpetual flowering set up, i have had 3 other diaries for the flowering stages of the other 3. The flowering stage of this diary are only plant #1 and plant #5
