buds start to fatten up in the dwc

4/23/24 Discoloration in top buds is worrying me so I chopped the last plant. Per RQS this may be a week or two early but I am seeing a lot of milky trichomes. Would rather pull it now then end up with bud rot or something. Lower buds look excellent. Will follow up and wrap up this grow in about a week after drying and some curing. 4/27/24 Final weights : Rachie 18 g Lily 18 g Lucy - EDIT 6.24.25 - Will never use RQS again. I switched to Barney's and I will never look back. I had a seed from the RQS pack go auto in the middle of my grow and threw everything out of whack. When I asked the rep what he thought the issue was in my comment section, he said something to the effect of "PM me and I'll take care of it. When I PM'd him he basically told me to not put RQS on blast and just call the 1-800 number. Like bro, you can't even tell me what you think might have happened? Do seeds sometimes do this on their own? Was there a mix up? A "sorry for your inconvenience" bro? Nothing just hey, don't be commenting at me about it just call the number. Barney's customer service has been out of this world. Of course it's a better product as well. No issues so far and everything is exactly what was on the package.

Rough week for the rainbow melon. Giant limb from my maple tree crashed down on my two far pots in the group. The plant survived and should recover but lost a few weeks of growth. It did not get hit as bad as the bubblegum next door and managed to keep one of the main tall stalks. She was looking so nice before the damage and just starting to bush out too. But luckily that branch coming down opened up the sky quite a bit and the other two plants not hit are gonna do even better now and the rainbow melon should recover okay. I almost wanted to replace them but I will learn more from seeing what happens next and comparing to the other unaffected plants. Fed with compost tea, kelp and cal mag mix 700 ppm.

Cleared the tent of all my remaining vegetable starts on day 61, cleaned up some of the bottom growth.

I decided this week to start adding nutrients at a very low dose at 1/8th of the recommended dose. I'm quite happy with how growth is progressing so far. There is a slight deformation in one of the first leaves but i'm not worried about it at this stage.

I'm back for another update this week! It hasn't been a very busy week this week, the veg area is vegging and the flower area is on its last week before harvest. I've been taking very small cuttings (about .1 gram) and scoping the trikes using a 45x desktop microscope. Ethos: Lilac Diesel #22 (x) Grandpa's Cookies #7- This seedling is still doing well and branching out keeping a "v" shaped branch formation, thinner long leaves and decently far spaced nodes. It is still the tallest plant in the whole garden now standing at 19 inches tall. It's top four branches are beginning to develop smaller branches from them. HSO/ Giest Grow: Tow Truck- Unfortunately the Tow Truck showed signs of being a male. Last week I had assumed it was a male. But this week I was able to call it for certain. I don't have the space to keep any males, so I went ahead and cut it down. This diary will now be for the Ethos Seedling! It is feminized so it will surely go to the flower room with the Raspberry Ripple plants it shares a tent with. Raspberry Ripple Clones (#1 and #2)- These veg clones are still spreading out with branching decently. The #2 Phenos hit 12 inches in height and received their topping. So now all plants in the clone tent have been topped once. Flower Tent (Raspberry Ripple #1 and #2)- It is currently day 67 Flower, Under the HLG Blackbird. I went ahead and dimmed it down one level. I let my buddy use my PAR meter for a few days. But I'd assume it's probably about 450-700 PPFD on most top sites. I've assessed the trichomes today and last week. Most are getting cloudy but I'm gonna wait just a few more days, to push into some amber coverage. A lot of the #2 pheno top sites are now leaning over and being fully supported by the trellis. The little branches just couldn't support the massive flowers it grew. One of the #2 plants is still holding strong and standing tall. But 2/3 are pretty much fully supported by the trellis. The number one phenos are once again super thick stalked, with thick branches. One of the #1 plants, looks like it completely bottomed out this week. Most of its leaves are completely faded. The other plant of the #1 Phenos is much more bright and vibrant. There are still some straggling white pistil hairs left on the #1s but they are still changing color by the day. Buds keep fattening up more and more, this should be the amazing phenomenon Carl Linneus talked about Flowers are getting enormous, gross, monster buds, everyone told me i had not enough light, not enough air flow, not enough badabee badaba but honestly i see them right, beautiful and healthy Please, SUGGEST ME anything you can think about and ill try to improve it

10/14-its clear these babes want to flower. HULK A,C, and D are doing fine/bouncing back from my error in week 5. HULK B seems to have been affected the most and is trying to recover. -Im not going to neut feed until the middle of the week depending on how the plants look! 10/15- Watered with Rhizotonic to aid the plants. 10/18- Plants are growing again! and looking happy! all is well. 10/20- Last day of the week but I decided it was time to feed. I started the first round of bloom feed. P.S sorry about the purple light in all my photos! I broke the zipper to my grow tent so taking them out is super hard! I will try and take better photos here on out!

the weather forecast says 2 weeks of rain, it will be a challenge to keep the humidity low in the house and of course in the growbox.

She's flying along and looking healthy probably close to the end of stretching but we'll see. The shogun nutrients are amazing and seem to work incredible in coco, she is very thirsty too getting through around 4 litres per day

On this beautiful monday I reveal to you the evolution of these wonderful Black bud 😇. I am waiting with excitement to prepare them for harvest, they are so close. I have tried as much as possible to present to you their details and colors which are as close as possible to the view I have here in front of me. FASTBERRY 35 Days from sprout. Light training. Leaf tucking, pony tailing and some bend and secure. Pony tailing seems to help with the side branching. Which will be useful as she seems to be on the smaller side. Possibly due to lower RH early on. Otherwise she seems to be doing ok. Attempted a layer of clay pellets after soaking in PH'd water for 16 hours, to combat the gnats from reaching the soil. I feel like sand may have been a better choice and removed the clay before feeding again. There are so few gnats that its not much of an issue, but I'd like to eliminate the threat before flowering really kicks in.
