I've defoliated a little as I go. One of the watermelon candy has a flat stem (Fasciation) I've been trimming the leaves as they are growing in abundance on the affected branches. The black orchid smells so good it's very pungent and captivating, I'm really looking forward to trying it now.

Last feed was a week ago, have watered twice in the past week with ph'd water. Ladies are progressing nicely. Will feed tomorrow, and see how things progress. Got the dehumidifier and control put in, have it set at 45 rh, right now. Have seen the humidity come down substantially but still swings between 40 and 54. Thinking about lowering the setting a bit to around 40 to try and get tighter control as I finish out the grow over the next several weeks.

Weekly update on these magnificent girls. They're flowering great and smelling even better. Half of the bunch look as they'll be finishing up in the next couple weeks. This strain grows fast and I can't wait to sample some. The purple pheno produces some picture perfect flowers. 👌

12/31: Two of them are doing well, but the 3rd is doomed I think. Glad I started an extra #11! Today was the first day in which I fed them some Big Bloom and Boomerang along with humic acid, pH'd to 6.1. 1/3: I've been letting them dry out a bit for the last two days. They've got roots coming out the bottoms now...I'll probably transplant them into 5 gallon fabric pots tomorrow or the next day. I ordered a 4' 180w tube light with 578 LEDs..it has a 360 degree beam with 3000k and a bunch of 660nm. It's waterproof, so no worries about keeping it beneath my canopy to illuminate the lower branches and hopefully increase the density of those buds that never get much top-lighting. Today, I mounted my two new 24w UVA LED lights (395-405nm) to my frame. I'll run them 6 hours a day from the time I put the plants into my closet, until harvest. It is my understanding that exposure to UVA, particularly during the vegetative stage, triggers many different plant defense hormones, which speed growth and can increase heartiness to withstand constant exposure to UVB without suffering as much cellular damage as usual. I'm also ordering a 2' Solacure FlowerPower UVB (285nm-310nm) next week to use during flowering to stress the plants and increase trichome production. 1/4: I did a few foliar feedings with big bloom and fulvic acid today. 1/5: Weird...the one I thought would die, still hasn't. Her second set of leaves died, but the third is starting to grow? Transplanting day. I dusted their roots with magic dust and transplanted them into 5 gallon pots today. I had some excellent compost with biochar and myco that I mixed into their soil, too. I watered them in with about 2 quarts each of their first taste of full strength veg nutes, plus mycorrhizal fungi, trichoderma, beneficial bacteria, and humic acid, then I sprayed them with biotabs boomboom spray when finished. The were moved into the closet under the quantum boards, UVA's, and a pair of Miracle LED blue bulbs. I'll start adding far-red spectra to the equation in the next few days.

Seems to be taking well to being moved to the 5gal pot. Growing a lot faster after the 2nd day in the bigger pot. Watered for the first time since planting in big pot after 5 days with 1L distilled water (Ph 7) mixed with 1/2 tsp. fox farms grow big and 1/2 tsp. big bloom. Since my soil is considered hot soil I wanted to use less than the recommendation on the bottle.

So now i feed the low base nutrients with 1ml/l bigbud

Pure Ice cream clone is doing well. I trimmed her up some. Took a lot of lower stuff off. I will likely do more soon. She is really needing a bigger potter. I need to do that soon. This week was fun, had nutrient lockout on the one plant some signs on others. Decided to flush from the top with two plants which is a terrible idea with autopots; the minerals build up in the soil and all I did was wash them down. The plant that was looking the worse had some lower branches die after this so I cut them out. Reached out to autopot and they were a huge help, flushed from the Rez and then brought my nutrients way down. I only just got an ec meter but I was at 3200 ppm when I started the flush and 150 by the time I added nutrients back in. The two plants that I flushed from the top aren’t in great shape but they’re still alive, only 2 more weeks to go so hopefully this didn’t have too much of an impact on quality!

Every has gone absolutely smooth so far with growing this girl. Full 8 weeks old today & 21 days into flower. She has a fairly strong sweet smell & her buds continue to bulk up. As I just harvested 1 plant , it's created a bit of space for me to put her into the Flowering tent for 12 hrs each day & move her back to veg for the remaining 8 hrs, as I'm running 780watts in the flower tent, hopefully this will bulk them up more. Simple L.S.T. grow grew her out a few nodes & bent her over & tied her down, doing a similar thing with the side branches. Then I've just let her go & do her own thing & haven't done anything other than feed her, haven't really had to do any defoliation as there's not that many leaves on her naturally. Timing seems about right. The current flowering plants are finishing so these will be in flower within two weeks. From all that I've learned this grow (being my first DWC), I plan on carrying on with a combination of organics and synthetics. Along with GHE products below, I'll be using the organics right along side. Mainly for the microbes and fungi. I plan on keeping my water about 1-2" below the basket with heavier pumps. Will be using the EcoPlus Eco Air 4 Four Outlet air pump divided into 2 buckets/2 air stones and using the 2 Marina 200 Air pumps for clones. That will more than double the airflow to the roots. When I change the res and even when I transfer over to the larger flower DWC bucket (3 gal - 5 gal) I'll be keeping a litre of the veg solution to add to the fresh new res, thus 'inoculating' it with the already stable microbial and fungal environment that it's been used to. As well, I'll continue with Hygrozyme on a 'maintenance' dosage when changing the res and adding a liter of the microbial and fungal tea listed below as well as a dose of Tarantula from Advanced Nutrients. Adding organic Alaskan veg and bloom fertilizer (some 'Fulvic acid' as well, like seaweed liquid. Plants uptake Fulvic better than Humic. Root fungi eat the Humic and poop out Fulvic!) in 'moderation' to help bring PH back down and feed microbes and fungi. Once the plants start really stacking, I'll add more synthetics to compensate and to lower PH. The organics can really mess with the EC so I'm not going to be freaking about high levels. Found that it didn't effect the plants health that much if at all.
