Well it's been an awesome week :) Plants have responded way better than expected to both LST & fimming, I've got a good canopy and plenty of potential colas that are growing well and at an even level. Also, won £200 on a scratchy, so decided to invest in a better light. Went from 300w LED (true draw 130w) to 1800w LED (true draw 595w). The difference in the light is clear to see. Both plants have motored through initial training with LST and fimming without skipping a beat. I've read so many mixed opinions on topping / fimming autos, it was a hard decision to make. In the end, I decided to give it a try and find out for myself. If I'd had any concerns about the plants ability to cope, I wouldn't have done it, but if your plant is looking strong and healthy then it may be something to think about. Personally, I think there is no right or wrong, because it's probably entirely situational - too many variables like strain, genetics, environment, growing medium, lights etc to say one way or the other really. But for this grow right here? I think it was a good decision I'm extremely happy with the results. Scrog net now in place, and both girls are starting to boogy on upwards. No sign of pre-flower yet, I'm hoping they grow into the net before they start stretching too hard. Also, some weird findings from my runoff EC since I got the new light. Runoff EC has always been about 50-75 micro siemens above input. It was predictable as hell. But when the new light was installed, the runoff EC started to drop to about +25 from input... then the same as input..... and now my runoff EC is LOWER than input. Thought it might just be an anomoly, but it has now been consistently lower, every feed for the last 3 days. I'm going to post a question, but if anyone has any bright ideas wtf is up with that, let me know!! Muy interesante el perfil de Papaya y Limón!

Girls starting to grow really tall now, they have taken to the flowering stage really nicely! Started the Flores feed on Day 38. Starting high at 3.2 and working my way down after a couple of weeks. Smells are lovely coming from the tent! Leaves are looking very dark and healthy.

The Dr. has been vegging for full 8 weeks and on the 9th I switch to 12/12 . In the next few weeks she'll be stretching even more I guess. If she happens to stretch that wild as I have read, I'll have to struggle trying to stop her taking over my reduced grow room and I don't like to apply serious pruning after she has grown. Besides, my hypothesis is that as I chose a big pot, she might be growing aerially for a long time until the roots tell to stop. Regarding fertigation, I apply once a day a solution 1.3-1.4 mS/cm EC (inflow) using Grow fertilizer alternating with Bloom fertilizer. I'm applying from today on a foliar spray to activate growth at this stage (this week and the two coming next). Day 54 (05/11) fertigation Bloom fert 0.3 g/L, CalMax 1.3 mL/L, VitaMax 1mL/L, pH 6.1, EC 1345 uS/cm and Foliar spray. Iturned on the lights manually as I got up and saw the lights were out. She will have 4 additional dark hours today, but I wouldn't worry. Day 55 today I did some work on rebel shoots and that's all! Day 56 I fertigated with a Bloom fertilizer solution 1.3 EC inflow and 0.9 EC units run/off, I can increase the EC a bit higher until I reach 1300 uS/cm in the roots but as I see her growing fine and without deficiencies, I'll stick to this amount for precaution. Later I sprayed leaves with Foliar fertilizer just when the lights had gone off. Day 57 Today Friday is vegetative fertilizer's day! Day 58 happy Saturday to everyone be it autoflowering or photoperiodic! Thank God for your blessings. Today I had to replace one of the 50 W cob led but fortunately, lights are all shining now. She's been very shiny this morning too. Day 59 I'll put her under 13,5 hours darkness a day.

04/13/25: The plants have now fully adjusted to their new environment, and all five are looking vibrant and happy. Leaf posture is strong, color is rich, and the canopy is filling in nicely. They’re handling the training and topping well, showing no signs of stress, and overall growth has remained consistent. While inspecting them before today’s round of training, I noticed what appear to be early signs of male pre-flowers on PP1 and PP4. It’s still too early to be certain, but it’s looking like I may already be down to three possible females. I’ll be keeping a close eye on them over the next week—things should become much more clear soon. Today I topped all five plants again—this time at the first node of each of the four main branches created from the last topping. This will help build out a broader, more evenly structured canopy. I also used plant ties to gently pull down each of the branches to open up light penetration across the plant. In addition to branch training, I used ties to lightly hold back some of the larger fan leaves on the lower two branches to help expose new growth sites. I’ll leave those fan leaves on for another 3 to 4 days as the new tops develop, then remove them to redirect energy upward and continue opening the structure. They were also watered today with a light nutrient mix, similar to last week’s. The plants still look very nutrient-rich, so there was no need to push the EC any higher just yet. Based on the current rate of uptake, I expect they’ll be ready for another watering in about 3 to 4 days. If anything noteworthy comes up—especially regarding sexing—I’ll update sooner. Otherwise, I’ll be back in a few days to document a light defoliation and any continued developments.

Ladies look to be comfortable, roots are growing, leaves are spreading and look good. I overwatered them a bit but they ate that all up, next week I'll transplanting them as they've overgrown this cup quick. One of them is growing upwards much faster than the others, will have to keep an eye on that one. First pictures are from beginning of the week and the last ones last day of the week.
