Made the mistake of buying Soil from amazon and I now have an infestation of gnats!

Last couple weeks for the Green Gelato pair. Getting a couple amber trichs in the video. I accidentally snapped a branch and decided to fully remove it from one, and will add to the total weight at the end. The Royal Gorilla is a strange one. Still far behind at this age, could go 100 days potentially lol. Drinking 2l a day too.

Made a minor tweak with with the SCROG method on the CS strain this week, I removed the net completely to allow the stems to shoot straight up. Added molasses to my feeding this week, hopefully it does what I expect as the budding sites on both plants are beginning to thicken.

The Holidays caused a little headache this past week. Was a few hours late on water schedule due to holiday commitments. Found the middle plant had sucked all the water out and went into underwater stage. A few of the giant fan leaves took a hit, but not too bad. Didn't change anything other than water schedule to every day now and the leaves had no further damage/discoloration. All leaves still praying and doing good. Trichromes starting to pick up on all the plants now. Had a situation in my other tent with a plant that shouldn't have been saved, that i saved, and seems to have slightly hermied and I didn't catch it. Not terrible, as out of a 6 oz plant, I found 42 seeds. Hoping that tent doesn't effect this room, but it's possible it has. Just gonna ride it out now and see how it goes.

Day 35: This week I was busy again with work (60hours this week) + Christmass days with family + friends(4days every evening). So you can gues, i asked my friend again to take care of them. Well he did kind off, but he forgot to adjust the lights and dance the plants arround(shuffle them, sorting by height). What happend? They stretched out because of the heat and he gave them to much water everyday, he tried to do his best this time but he did the imposible, he overwaterd cocos soil. As you can see the leafs dropped downward indicating overwatering or pests. In my case, luckly, the first one. Luckly easy to fix. Also spotted some stress in stems due stretching, something i cannot fix. Look at week 4, pictures of day 28, thats my work after I fixed it for days and now look at this week.... For f**k sake lol. Because of this stretching it looks really crowded now instead of a beautifull equal cantopy. if you look at picture one to the plants in the right corner, those are the heights I want them to be. There are still some plants that fell behind and barely recoverd since last time. For the new week I will have to make a choice to eighter keep them and hope they still grow some while flowering or I will need to get rid of them in exchange the others will have more space. I might thoose the last option. Thats it for this week, see y'all in the next.

Getting ready for flowering! On day 45 I placed a metal grid (90x90cm) on the bottom of the pot and a same one on the top as a scrog grid. Then I did a huge defoliation removing as much as I could under the net, exposing many small colas that were covered by upper leaves. On day 46 I didn’t switch off the lights in the night, so the princess has been awake for more than a day. I switched off the lights in the morning. After about 30 hours of darkness, on day 47 I switched lights back on and set up the timer for the switch to 12/12. In this first week I’m waiting for the plant to empty the reservoir, then 2 days of flush, and will start kicking bloom nutes (with fungi, bacteria and sugars) at half dosage next week.

What can I say mimosa cake auto still frosty and thick as ever which I could’ve had her dialed in sooner truly think this could be an amazing Grow cannot wait to grow her again nice dense buds frosty cola smells of mimosa cake. 🔥💯

Day 200 18/11/24 Monday It's her last day today of light, no more watering. She will then enter 48 HR dark period. Her trichomes have reached a nice amount of amber's, and flooded with cloudy trichomes... The end is so close 🤤😋😂 The smell is intoxicating, sweet pungent guava fruity smell. It's amazing. Seeing her colours fade out on the fans is like watching a sunset. Deep oranges radiating against her red veins, with purple and violet tipped buds, engulfed in trichomes and orange pistils, but she holds a deep dark green underneath in the core of the buds. She is a menace to look at 😈💞 It's been fun to grow this, and I won't lie, trouble free. Easy with nites she took what I gave, next time around I'll be lollipoping a shit load more to encourage them fatter tops 💪💚 Sorry for the shit quality video this week so far, soon as she enters her dark period I'll get some nice flash pics and video tomorrow and upload 🙌💚 Day 201 19/11/24 Tuesday She entered her dark period at 5am this morning. She is still relatively moist so the next 48 hours should be fine to dry off in the dark too. Noticed a couple more mildew spots on leaves, removed these now. Don't want it wasted in the last 2 days 🤦‍♂️😅💚 Next update will be the chop on Thursday. Updated pictures 📸💚 Day 203 21/11/24 Thursday Its finally time 🙌!! She has had 48 hrs of dark and more mildew started to set in so thank goodness I chopped her today!! Have not had time to weigh her yet, but wet trim, and deeper wet trim of sugar leaves affected with mildew have been removed. She is now hanging in tent to dry, with heat mat, and extraction on low. Humidity is 66% and 18'c. Her colours have deepened and her aroma is potent!! Strong sweet floral smell , similar to the perfume 😍 Uploaded pics and a short vid of before the chop. Hello. I've harvested the Mega Mouth. WOW!!! I'm very impressed with this strain. Over 1.5 k for 5 plants. and it was finished by Aug 20 with the tents help. I'm trying some new (for me) categories to add to my report. Plant Stretch (PS) 1 to 5- 1 is hardly any stretch. Bud Mutation (BM) 1 to 5- 1 is a beautiful normal bud- 5 is big weird growths like foxtails. Trim- How easy or hard it was to trim up 1- you blow on the branch and hang it up. 5- Is very hard to trim takes a long time. About- Best guess on the THC % (I've been smoking a long time) Resin- 1 is super slippery 5- is very sticky like Gorilla Glue. Size of Buds (SOB) 1- is very small 5- is the biggest buds Dense- 1- is the lightest or fluffiest 5- is the rock hard buds your bud buster has trouble busting up. Plant #1 Wet Trim 1647 g PS. 3.5 BM 3.5 Trim 4 About 21% Resin 4 SoB 4 Dense 4 Finished Dry Weight 289.5 g or 10.33 oz. There was some pests around. I found thrips damage in veg and got some Spinosad to take care of that. Saw some fungus gnats around but they didn't do much damage. Easy to grow and trim. This is a recommended strain. Chuck.

Just about have the temperature issue under control, doing a lot of LST to open up the canopy. The Alaskan Purple (soil) is really growing! Hydros should be taking off soon.

Temps are rising here and I am unable to cool the room that the grow tent is in with air conditioning… but despite this, with sufficient airflow throughout her canopy she seems to be thriving! I am extremely congested but I can still smell the buds when I open the tent, and the nugs so far seem to feel extremely dense.

Hi growmies, unfortunately I skipped a day checking on the reservoir and the plant must have consumed a lot more water than expected, probably due to the heat we are experiencing where I live, since I realized tip burn getting worse everywhere I checked the ec, which was close to 3 😳, topped up with RO water right away and this seems to have stopped it. Other than that I don’t think it bothered the plant too much either, as she keeps on swelling bigger and bigger. A&B fertilizer was reduced already and once, either next week or the one after I’ll start flushing, depending on the stage of ripening.
