1/8/2023: chop day for the Newberry! Like the other plants, I will be drying the whole plant, along with the Orange Bubblegum in a 2x2 AC Infinity tent, with the temp and humidity as close as I can get to 60° F and 60% humidity. The portable AC unit and humidifier do a good job keeping me in range. This was very easy plant to grow. Other than a few nanners the last week in flow, I had no problems with her. Smells amazing and looks amazing too. Can't wait to try growing this one again.

Germinated on Sat Sept 8th, 2018 @ 6pm. Tap roots within 18 hours on all. Planted into Coco-Coir (straight) with added Cal-Mag and B1 # 280 PPM and 6PH. Great week this week! Yanked out the stunted smaller plant as she was not growing anymore. Made a little room for the larger one. Doing bending almost daily trying to keep her off the light and out of the fan. Ppm was at around 200 when I pulled the smaller plant. I then added 1/3 nutrients. Ppm at 826. Ph was a little low in the 5.5 so I raised it up 5.8-6.1 or so. Ph seems to fluctuate a lot as the pump moves the water around. Flowers are plumping up. The plant is so big I can barely get into the basin. Daily water flushing was helping the roots a lot last week to keep off the brown. I figure she has 1-2 weeks left as she is an auto and waaayyyyy past her due date. There is 0 room for the new plant to grow so I think she will end up not working out, I might cut back the big girl to make room, not sure yet. Most of the harvested little plant will go to bubble hash basket. I will update later.

This is a test-grow of Barbarian, a cross of AK-47 from Serious Seeds with Barbara Bud from from House of the Great Gardener (HotGG) made by Mat, the head-breeder of HotGG, in Canada. I had the honor of getting three test seeds at the Cultiva-Tradeshow in Austria and could not wait to start them after I got home. The two test-plants were grown on soil under HPS and alongside my normal grow of AK-47 plants inside a big Secret Jardin tent and fed with Advanced nutrients.

Alright so we're moving along as best we can with some weird looking growth but it's still growth lol. We started the Athena blended line this week but it's still early so we'll see how they look after this week. I'm hoping they grow out of this weird looking foliage. I believe it's from too much Alfalfa Ferment so I dropped it when we switched over to synthetic. Other than that we're doing great and in a couple more weeks we'll transplant the photos and put them in flower.

5th week, I add the top shooter and I stop the top booster. Burns due to light intensity on 2 plants, readjustment of the height of the pots for a more homogeneous canopy and canopy bulb distance increased from 30 to 40 cm. Fan leafs tips turn slightly yellow, 2 consecutive waterings with water and enzymes (multizen 1ml / liter)

So far my confidence in this next go around is very high! 😃☀️ Putting the seeds straight into a jiffy pellet is the way I am going to proceed with germination going forward. You are just adding extra variables to what should be a simple equation (seed in sterile medium + warmth + moisture = seedling) unlike with the paper towel method, where you need to transfer them to the medium. But this is just one opinion of a rookie grower.

FD 30 : 5L water with PH ~6.5 1ml/l biogrow, 1ml/l topmax, 1ml/l biobloom, 0,5ml/l calmag FD 33 : 5L water with PH ~6.3 2,5ml/l biogrow, 1ml/l topmax, 2ml/l biobloom, 0,75ml/l calmag The leaves of all plants besides the top right are turning yellow, the top right plants leaves are getting deeper red every day. When opening the tent you get hit by this sweet, fruity scent :) I think the yellowish leaves are comming from nutrient deficiency. Since the PH should be in a fine spot now, I guess raising the nutrients should be the solution. If you have other thoughts on why the leaves turn yellowish, please tell me!

Week5 March 1st day 30 I transplanted one( the one with no broken branch) inti the 7gal today watered and did some LST I really hope it adapts to its new home I’ve never transplanted before I used extreme garden MYCOS hope it works also moved the light up a bit and plan on going 100% once I transplant the other one March 2nd transplanted the other one (broken branch one) my shop didn’t have 3.0😔😔😔😔😔😔😔 so i used DNC Great Lakes water only soil hopefully this works and I mixed some 3.0 I had left from the other pot cross fingers for nice transition to its new home March 5 been three days since transplant can’t really tell if they adapted to there new homes yet some sings of stretching since transplant I’ve never transplanted before and I’m not sure if they need water or not so imma chill let them go for couple more days then I’ll water scared to over water them right now since I transplanted them don’t want to over stress them other one in 3.0 seems little droopy to me compared to the one in Great Lakes but Great Lakes soil seems bit dry sooooo idk I’m going keep an eye on them

Left plant was both Larger and contained more Pot that the Right plant, which has historically been smaller from the start Left plant contained 5.6 ounces. I give 8 liters of water per pot. I was giving a 2-nutrient callmag, but the water coming out from the bottom has high ppm, so I will give empty watering. Day 97-Bloom 38= sugar leaves and immature buds were cuted
