Week 5: Transplant Time & Root Power! Oh man, this was one of those weeks! We transplanted all five phenos into bigger pots, and let me tell you, they’re thriving! (Check out the complete video episode for all the details 😉). The girls are looking amazing, all pretty much the same size for now, so I don’t have any favorites yet—but let’s see what the future holds! For photos, I used both my Nikon P900 and Sony A6000, with a bunch of lenses and filters to preserve the true colors—these LEDs are powerful! Current Setup & Conditions This week, they’re still chilling with their sisters in the big tent, but in about a week, they’ll be moving into the TrolMaster ecosystem for even better environmental control. Watering: pH 6.06, EC 0.96 Temperature: A bit cold , but it is what it is. We’re facing some freezing outdoor temps (as shown last week in the frosty veggie garden pics!), yet these Runtz are holding strong like true champions. 💪❄️ Nutrition: Still on the Aptus Clean Program, with: Regulator System Clean RO Water Conditioner All-in-One Liquid Root Development: The Real MVP! Let’s go deep on roots! The mycorrhizae in the Pro-Mix soil has been working its magic, and I’m still boosting them further with a touch of Aptus Holland Mycor Mix. The root development on this transplant was insane—super white, healthy, and ready to explode with growth. What Are Mycorrhizae? The word “mycorrhiza” comes from Greek: • Myco- meaning fungus • Rhiza- meaning root Mycorrhizae are a type of beneficial fungi that form a symbiotic (mutually beneficial) relationship with plant roots. These fungi extend far beyond the root zone, creating an underground network that helps plants absorb water, nutrients, and improve overall health. This is not a single species but rather a whole category of fungi, mainly divided into: 1. Ectomycorrhizae – Live on the outside of plant roots, forming a sheath around them. In a natural environment, plants are constantly forming relationships with these fungi. However, in modern agriculture, excessive tilling, chemical fertilizers, and fungicides have reduced their populations, making supplementation necessary in many cases. How Do Mycorrhizae Work? Once mycorrhizae colonize a plant’s roots, they start forming an underground fungal network called the mycelium. This network extends the plant’s reach into the soil, acting as a second root system. In my growing experience I always had bigger harvests with mostly indica hybrids than with sativa ones and I think this is mostly common, I was much curious about this strain in the auto flowering version, since the DNA genetics photoperiod seeds are still not re-assorted, Fastbuds did a good job, the smoking is fruity and woody with strong high, even if I prefer the taste and the indica high of their other Strawberry, the Pie, thanks Fastbuds and thanks to all who growers who looked at the growing 🙏🏻💚 it’s toking time now 🔥

Plant is still not ready for full harvest on lower portion plant has had no issues with the cutting of branches or main cola. Growth has exploded on lower bud sites even a day after cutting. Was able to dry nugs for a week from first cut and have gotten to smoke it. Surprisingly has a good smooth taste and hits hard. Smells skunky with a little hay smell. (Was out bud) will try to cure for 3 months.

Jan 22nd - tonight the feeding involves Aerated Compost Tea; 4L ea. (menu above) * compost tea looked like a cup of tea. Golden and slightly murky, the tea had reduced the nutrient load to small particles. It just felt right feeding this liquid concoction. Will be looking for changes / surprises these next few days - back to the G.P. liquid routine for the finish… - Black Willie gets thirsty faster, their meals may become seperate events very soon - due to slightly alkaline soil conditions lately, I have balanced the pH of the AC Tea to a 6.3 to help drive the Soil pH lower. Acid was diluted in cups of (good)water and added in sequence to gently drop the 8.3pH of ac tea. 24th - brewing a tea, as listed above, for tomorrow. 2 in a row is a first. Water pH’d to 6.5 b4 adding ingredients. Ppm @ 385 w/ingredients and bubbling Jan 25th - stuck with the plan and used normal Green Planet routine; 4.5L - looked like it snowed on the buds 26th - lifted the Scrog, no Tall threats at this stage. (Making watering to run-off so much easier) Jan 28th - last day of the week - soil checks etc., dinner in a perfect world

Day 56 : Well 8 full weeks si ce I flipped the lights and this lady looks so ripe now . Her pistils are mostly orange now throughout the plant. I did get a little second burst of pistils befor e the rest browned off and it swelled them very nicely . Her smell is a fruity sweet but there is also another undertone there I just cant grab at. Will hopefully come out in cure a bit more to nail it. She is nice and sticky now too and has some nice clumps of buds to that are solid to squeeze . I plan to loupe her soon to check her trichromes for cloudiness. She has t skipped a beat the whole grow and will be getting another run out soon. Hopefully next update will be harvesting pics !!!. Be safe growmies UPDATE DAY 61:She is done and out . Yay. I had planned and expected an 11 week flowering due to the genetic mix but she had other ideas. She has been a pleasure to try out and grow and will certainly be popping more of the Fruity Gorillas in the near future. She smells very "fresh fruit stall" at the moment and I am looking forward to how she cures up. I will update as soon as she is harvested from the dried stems. I am hoping for a 1p day slower dry but temps here are crazy at the moment and I cant find a cooler space to dry than my grow room yet. Some new pics of her taken out and trimmed. Just about ready for harvest. Middle of this week will be 9 weeks of flower. I think they still need just a few more days. I had a chance to sample some nuggage I've trimmed in the past week or two and it's really got my excitement through the roof Happy with the way they look overall. Buds could be a bit bigger but can't really complain for my first grow. Have had issues with humidity and temp all winter. Apartment is too drafty for hvac to keep up. Not to mention the issue with the power loss a few weeks ago. Really just happy that it worked lol... looking forward to spring / summer If I'm being completely honest, the tent smells like literal dogshit when I unzip it. But if i rub a sugar leaf between two fingers it smells like DANK. Very strong piney smell which I'm pleased with lol. The smell has emanated from the tent the past two weeks or so. Carbon filter has had trouble the scent is kind of overpowering Can't keep my eyes off plant C; literally dripping in trichomes. It might be the smallest but it's the prettiest for sure. Check out the video. Plant D has the most bud mass. Over the past few weeks I've been trimming away some of the lower bud sites and fan leaves along with some of the dying fan leaves. This is plants second week without nutes so as expected leaves are starting to turn darker in color. Likely will cut out water for a couple days right before cutting

Howdy it is day 63 and in 2 days it is time to harvest. Since 2 weeks i feed clear Walter only. They get 16 hours darkness before harvest. All the plants are really🔥 My favourites are still 3G and Wedding Gelato. The smell and Look is crazy. You will see i guess Also North Thunderfuck and Hulkberry is good looking. The weight of North Thunderfuck for the dice is insane. I wish everyone a nice Day and good time. Stay safe 💚

Deep fried Runts remix is growing a little slow but nothing to complain about I did three Plants of the strain doing a little hunting try to find that good stuffI’m sure the will be great but so far so good with the growing a deep fried runts remix number three is not doing well But has stopped growing altogether not sure what the Hells going on with that but number one and number two are doing well Growth has picked up I’m very excited about this strain this year number 3 pheno did not make the cut so I pulled it pheno 1 and 2 are growing well

Girls are growing and showing really nicely for 3 weeks of flower. Smells now starting to eminate from both. The Sugarcane smells like passion fruit punch and the orange Velvet is still to complex to call but amazing nonetheless. Defoliated more. Didn't have a choice since the canopy was still so dense.

Hello guys We lost a Bubba kush cause of my mistake, broke the main stem :( The girls had some Light burn and some Water issues, i had some problems with the building where im growing, but i hope its gonna get better soon with the ladies Didnt used any nutes yet but i can see some deficiency‘s if im not wrong, and a small amount of LST while they start to build more branches :) see ya next week

First of all a massive thanks to the guys at Ripper Seeds, and also GD for giving me these beans after placing top 10 in the Jan 18 Diary of the Month Comp ✌️👊 and thank you to all you guys that like/follow and comment each week, you all know it's always appreciated. When I run this girl again I'll be letting her grow bigger and thicker in structure before going into flower. She still turned out great, but with another week in the veg tent I know she would have yielded more, and would have stretched a bit more. Because I have 4 seperate plants/strains in one tent, under one light, I've had to calculate these by dividing the conditions by 4 (4 plants in total sharing same conditions). This is the fairest and only way to work it out on average as a full tent. Happy growing! 🐺

Its day 61 currently, i’ve given her the last feed and will start the flush now, even though she’s discarded most of her leaves already and is using up the remaining nutrients in the remaining leaves on her own. Most of the pisitls have started turning orangey-brown so harvest is right around the corner, and i dont have a loupe for looking at trichomes but i’ll be taking macro pictures using my phone’s camera and will harvest as soon as i start seeing a few turning amber. There isn’t enough detail in the pics to know if the trichomes are transparent or milky, but its easier to see the amber ones, so thats how i’ll proceed.
