#3 has beautiful pink buds very happy with these girls, hopefully the other two show some colour as the Temperature comes down. Have swapped the 250 red CFL for a 150 blue. May turn it off for the last week to get every last bit of pink possible! Pots have a nice wet dry cycle, have tried to hold back and not over water so I've been watering with a spray bottle. I use a 1L hand spray bottle and fill it up three to four times depending on the weather. Although it seems impossible to overeater with the breathable fabric pots. Which are awesome if I haven't said already. Perfectly fit 11 in my small cupboard which is lucky as I ordered ten as soon as he free one arrived without measuring them! Stoners eyes never lie! 👁️ Buds should be huge if they keep going at this speed! Haven't topped them for the natural look, been a few years since I've done it can't wait to see a big fat cola bud at the end!

Defoliation is a critical part of the flowering stage, and I typically wait until Day 21. However, this week, I tackled it earlier on Day 17 because: 1️⃣ The room was simply too full. 2️⃣ And most importantly—the Papaya Zoap had other plans! She’s a fighter—determined, defiant, and constantly reaching for the moon. Despite intense training like super cropping, she’s still pushing upward, nearly outpacing the LED lights. Challenges like this remind us of a simple truth: gardening mirrors life. It’s about resilience, adaptation, and unwavering determination. 💪 This week, I added a second SCROG layer. While this net will support the flowering colas, it’s also there to strategically manage the Papaya Zoap. Why? Because experience has taught me that if she grows out of the LED’s range, she won’t finish properly—and that could disrupt the balance for every other plant in the tent. It’s all about teamwork, even in the garden. 🌟 Defoliation was intense, removing nearly all the leaves with stems to clear space and boost airflow. The tent now looks dramatically different! I'm impressed, once again! This is my third grow of Dinafem's Haze XXL. Two I journaled here on growdiaries. My experience has been that she is a highly resistant strain within the right grow environments, and offers a decent return on yields. Bud hits mind and body with a punch of energetic! No couch lock sedation. I like the racy feeling, in small doses. A little goes a long way. Thanks, Dinafem!

A good week of growth for the 🌱. No issues, just trying to keep the RH high and not overwater them. I’ve been using a spray bottle twice a day, trying to keep the top soil moist , but not wet. Happy Gardening 👊🇨🇦❤️

Week 5 flowering (a week is 5 days) I lowered the longer branches trying to give as more light as possible to the plants, correct some top branches direction and defoliate a little bit. Both plants keep developing some beautiful flowers with beautiful hairs and trichomes on buds and leaves. This week I started using Overdrive in my feeding blend. Advanced Nutrients for coco professional program (I calculated EC of every single nutrient and made a custom dosage program for every week according to a more realistic EC value - check nutrients in my diary). Plants are doing well, leaves are beautifully green without signs of nutrients burns, excess or deficiencies. They are watered every day in the morning with fertilized water. My daily routine is to correct the training of the branches, removing unwanted popcorn/bottom growth and removing leaves that covers buds and leaves that don’t perform well (i.e.: leaves at the bottom that will not take light). 🌱

Using common sense

Enjoyed growing bloody skunk such a pretty plant. The smells coming off these girls are mouthwatering would love to grow some more in the future. I got almost a blackberry/ grape skunk smell off of them.

So, the fourth week has come to an end. The girls are slowly blossoming. Pineapple had some problems with watering and nitrogen deficiency, if I'm not mistaken. I hope everything will be fine 😋

I was out of town for a week so not too much to say in this update. They're coming up on 60F but have just barely started the fade so I'm thinking another 2 weeks or so from this point. Nothing but plain water from here until harvest.
