left the girls to settle into their new environment. Have been watering every 4 days or so, not much rain this week. Plants are looking good and showing some signs of leaf growth which means the roots have already branched out. Chitosal as a root drench is supposed to help with drought tolerance and salt stress, no salt stress here as we are organic. Next week things to do: 1) spread and re-stake plants. 2) create a top amendment feeding and watering bowl under each plant with some chicken wire.

Very easy to grow and forgiving, they both would take big feeds and weren't upset by high EC. Lovely dense nuggets, some had taken on a purple hue. All dripping with Trichomes and potent turpenes. I can't put a finger on the aromas but there's an old school skunky smell in the background. Completely changed from the early stages of flowering. Very smooth to smoke and reasonably potent. I'll definitely be growing this again and it's my favourite strain of this run. Good work Sweet Seeds, Sweet Gelato is a winner for me!

Thinking of pulling this whole run at this point, the stems are in a bad way and general structure has really suffered. FIM'd both girls this week & gave compost tea(ecothrive biosys) to aid recovery. Will make a decision on growing them out depending on how they respond. (Update end of week.) So in the first week these girls stretched terribly, instead of riding it out and letting them adjust I tried a trick I've applied with tomatoes in the garden and coiled an inch of the excess under the surface and covered it. After a burst of invigorating from the microbe tea(biosys) these girls seem to be recovering from the stress fairly well. The only down side, the stems have broken the surface and left me with these crazy bonsai style stems & the girls are very short and bushy, concerned the stems won't hold any weight later in life.. Will give this another week and make my decision TLDR; Don't interfere with nature when you can help it, especially with autoflowers. Update day 28 from sprout. Bbk1 showing signs of nitrogen toxicity after perking up, I had to use the bottle measure last week instead of a syringe. Much less accurate so assume this is the cause, just ph water for a while. Bbk2 perking up slightly. I did think these girls looked a funny shape and now I can see the stem properly its starting to make sense 🤦‍♂️🤣🤣

Boy oh boy, the final day of the first Medusa F1 Hybrid 1/5. Seed to harvest in 93 days. The first medusa F1 grew super fast. Her vegetative period was very short, showing white pistils at day 18 already, but grew into a beautiful lady. The first medusa was only subjected to LST and a little defoliation. The other Medusa plants from my diary (2/5 and 4/5),were topped and this definitely increased the amount of flower sites. Nevertheless, she grew thick and fat with heavy buds smelling like a sweet petrol station. The pistils turn bright orange and many calyxes are formed with hardly any leaves in between. I noticed after week 11 she started producing new calyxis with white pistils and therefore I waited a bit longer. I would recommend this and wait a bit longer to see if it happens for you too. Some trichomes were starting to turn amber and I maybe could have waited a little longer, also for the lower part to develop more. She was cut down on the 18th of July and was placed in my dark dry tent for 13 days at a temperature of 18 °C and a humidity of 60%. A long and slow dry is important to preserve terpenes. After 13 days, on the 31st of July, the branches were making a cracking sound when bending, so I decided to take the branches out of the drying tent and trim them. My 4 x 200W lights (on the box) only pull 50W from the wall so I think they are not super good. I made pictures with a Nikon camera and a white background. I smoked some and she tastes peppery with a sweet aftertaste. I will smoke more after a good long cure for at least 2-4 weeks in my jars. Check the progress of my other medusa F1 diaries and see the full experiment if topping is beneficial for these F1's. I would recommend trying out these amazing genetics and see for yourself. He notado que las plantas se han estirado mucho y se han retrasado en la formacion de flores debido a la proximidad de la luz led, una planta perdió pigmentacion y está recuperandose al incrementar la distancia con el foco. Creo se recuperaron de este estrés y la floración sigue en marcha. No se si me quedo corto con un led de 65w full espectrum. 📅 Dia 32:🔹Poda de alguna rama bajera y defoliacion. 📅 Dia 33:🔹Descanso. 📅 Dia 34:🔹Riego según la tabla de nutrientes con el PH a 6.3. I said!! it's huge ready for flowering!! one week to change the light schedule to 12/12 I've already lost count of the toppings I've made. I will always take some of the bottom leaves out. that no longer catch light and only waste energy. I water every two days. small quantities and One feeding per week. I make adjustments whenever necessary. I also don't spend a lot of nuts as long as she doesn't really need food as in flowering. you will realize soon

Absolutely amazed at the growth over the last week. Gave the plants their first (tiny) nute feed at 10 days old, 50% of recommended amounts. No problems with temp after lowering light. GG has the tallest and shortest plants, CC are all way more consistent in size and shape. All plants bar baby GG are on third set of "5" leaves. Keen to start LST soon, will probably top GG1 at around day 21, and play rest by ear.

The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. Our weather is beautiful now with daytime high temp's in the 80's F without a lot of rain so I am watering her daily at sundown with approximately 4-5g of well water. 6/10- I watered the Papaya Sherbet today and also did a little canopy maintenance, removing some leaves and some small shoots that would have taken energy better used elsewhere on the plant. 6/12- I gave the Papaya Sherbet photo a good watering today at sundown via the garden hose with straight well water. I am also planning on top dressing her in roughly 7-10 days from now with a blend of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and a little of their 2-8-4 along with some Wiggle Worm castings and a little Down to Earth Bio-Fish. 6/14- Another week gone and this little lady has really come along considering her late start and getting chewed on when she was young. All in all the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiod is shaping up to be one fine looking plant! Ripper seeds knocked it out of the fucking park with this one. I have no idea what she will yield, but I can tell you this entire plant is just stacked colas from top to bottom. With that being said, I do believe I low stressed trained her far too long and hurt her yield significantly. I did LST from day 30 until day 38, so I believe I lost out on far too much vertical growth during the stretch. I am going to adjust on my next grow and only LST the top 4 mains for about 2-3 days just to allow the bottom 4 mains to catch up. This Acid Dough absolutely reaks, and smells stronger than anything I have grown so far. The trichomes are almost ready, and she is only drinking plain water from my dehumidifier at this point. I am planning on harvesting her on Sunday, and I am working on a little 4th of July harvest video. This will also be my last (flowering) run with the Mars Hydro TS 1000 as I just received a couple new lights from Mars Hydro and ViparSpectra. The Mars Hydro TS1000 was a fucking champ, and I will still use her for vegging my autos. I will be running one auto under the Mars Hydro FC3000, and another auto under the ViparSpectra XS2000 from here on out. I am also running a timelapse of my Gorilla Girl from Sweet Seeds, and since I am only running 2 autos now, I actually have room for it! Unlike the Wedding Cheesecake, I am totally looking forward to trimming this Acid Dough Auto, and I believe it will take less than half the time. This is absolutely one I will be growing again! The flowering now really has kicked in and the first trichomes are appearing all around the flower crowns. The plants start to exude an intoxicating sweet smell...I LOVE IT! All plants grow VERY HEALTHY thanks to the BIO-TABs nutrients. They love the intensity and spectrum of the SANlight EVO4-120 LED-lamps, which is specifically designed for cannabis plants. They are the BEST LED GROW-LIGHTS I have EVER USED!
