So i both some Autopots and decided to give them a try with autoflowers, this will be my second time ever growing autos and i decided to go with 4 different ones from 4 different seed banks. For now i have 3 seeds that pop out and one that didn't so i pop another from the same and again, have a third one as we speak popping , lets hope this time she does other way that seedbank becomes a no go for me. Often, marijuana growers who have their plants in indoor grow tents or rooms with artificial lighting, take into account parameters such as temperature and relative humidity to maximize plants growth and bloom, thus obtaining abundant harvest with top quality flowers. As we will see later, these factors affect different processes of the plant, such as transpiration or nutrient uptake. However, we usually forget about another important factor that is related to the aforementioned ones: vapor pressure deficit or VPD. Broadly speaking, VPD is the difference between the amount of water vapor that the atmosphere is able to retain (which depends on temperature) and the amount of water vapor contained in it (relative humidity). It is usually measured in kilopascals (kPa). Providing our plants with a correct relationship between temperature and relative moisture will keep us on the right VPD parameters, increasing the plant’s activity and thus improving its growth and showing its full potential during the flowering phase. The ideal would be to adjust both parameters (temperature and humidity) to get the best possible VPD value, so that the development of plants will be amazing.In the chart above you can see the right temperature and moisture values to maximize the development of cannabis plants. The green zone shows you optimal values of VPD, in which it would be ideal to maintain the environment. The orange zone shows correct values, in which plants should not have problems to develop normally. However, red areas show values in which your plants will be very far from hit their full potential, since the relation between temperature and moisture is not optimal. With relatively high values of VPD (between 5 and 12) plants tend to open their stomata and release a considerable amount of water vapor into the environment (increasing their transpiration). This increase in transpiration results in an increase in the plant’s photosynthetic activity, which will need more nutrients and will improve its overall growth, both during growth and bloom. The best range is between 7.5 and 10.5, which we have marked in green. However, we must be careful that VPD is not too high (dark red zone) since the plant would close its stomata to avoid releasing too much water vapor to the environment, which would result in fast dehydration due to excessive transpiration. On the other hand, if VPD is too low (light red zone), the plant will also close its stomata for not releasing more water into the atmosphere, which in this case would be already saturated (it would have reached the maximum water retention capacity in a specific temperature). In this way, reducing transpiration will also reduce photosynthesis, which has a direct impact on the plant’s development and yield. That way, VPD is essential when it comes to offer the best conditions for the development of plants, also to understand its water requirements according to the nutrients used and thus adjust them correctly to meet the grower’s expectations. Tested soil PH and it's to high at 7.5. Adjusted my water to 6.2 to decrease it.

She is lookin like an identical twin to my first blackberry and I love it. I love this strain. As an avid gardener, it's a beautiful flower just to have on display. She is moving along better than the WCOG and BDM even though she is in the same soil. No smell yet but I expect that unforgettable deep berry smell to kick in next week. I fed her the above ratio of nutrients today,

This actually marks the first week from breaking through top soil. My ladies are taking the somewhat high temps very well, doing my best to keep it down around 79-81(Day) and (72-75) at night. They say the colors really pop at lower temps so hopefully I can work my way down even more to achieve those colors in the end. I’m using the Batch 64 Moonshine (super coco), haven’t heard a lot about, but my hydroponics shop recommended and it looks like it’s treating the ladies right. GP started to lean over on Day 4 and just couldn’t get up , so I propped her up with a twist tie and she’s doing great now 😎Anybody have a clue as to why she just slumped over in the first place? I haven’t ph my water at all but I will this next week coming up and will also be adding in some small doses of Terpinator each watering. I will be Ph (ing) my water between 6.2-6.6 this coming week and will be observing how the plants respond to the watering. Hopefully another great week is ahead filled with lots of growth. FBA2502 Week 3 April 13-19 Veg 2 This week I introduced nutrients to the watering schedule. My planned feed schedule will be to feed, feed, water each week until the time to flush. , adjusting nutrients per the growth cycle. Hopefully this will keep from overfeeding and reduce salt build up in the soil. Nutrients: I will be using General Hydroponics Flora line at ½ feed rate and Cal mag throughout this grow. My tap water measures 8.3-8.5 so even after adding nutrients, I have to PH down my feed solution. Regarding nutrients, I’ve tried Fox Farm, TPS1, Plagron and now General Hydroponics. What I am looking for is organic, ease of use, minimal individual bottles that will yield large, dense sticky buds that hit hard in effect. Plants range in height from 5-7” except #1 which has been pinned to the soil. I will try wrapping her around the perimeter of the pot. Since she leaned over, I pinned her down and have been anchoring along the rim, twisting the stem so the node is on the side or top rather than underneath. I don’t think she likes training since the stems are a bit floppy. They are all still in veg, bushy with large indica leaves. I’ve been tucking the large leaves under the bud sites to give more light under the canopy. I’m tempted to top one of the bigger plants to have a comparison on resistance and final yield. Day 19 of flower, I went ahead and lollipoped both girls. This will be my last time defoliating that heavy. As the days go by, I will defoliating here and there. They’re growing strong and healthy as well. 51 days until I harvest. I can’t wait! Catch yall on the next update ✌️🏾

Royal Queen Seeds website says that harvest time is 9-10 weeks after sprouting. This is week 11 so I am going ahead and harvesting even though I am not seeing a lot of amber trichomes. If you take a look at my pictures, you can see how big my cola is!! It is sooo packed and dense. The entire grow is 36.26 grams. I did flush this week before I cut it down. I am really pleased with this grow. I learned a lot and had a lot of difficult weather to overcome such as 100 degree heat and a hail storm. Miss Dosido danced her way to the end of the summer with a great cola and dense buds. Stay tuned for a dry weigh and smoke report. As always, you comments and likes are appreciated.
