Week 7 of Veg for these beautiful ladies! It was a stressful week for the girls but they made it❤️ Day 44 I decided the girls had outgrown their 2 gallon nursery pots and were ready to move on. After a quick cleanup of the undercarriage, they were ready to go. I like to keep my soil in a Rubbermaid bin, either with a fan lightly blowing, or the exhaust line from my tent blowing at it. Since I started doing this, I have not had any gnats or pests in my grows, of course with regular cleanings and IPM… This time around, I decided to use some Dynomyco to increase the mycorrhiza count of my Promix HP. This will increase root development and allow for better uptake of nutrients overall. Within an hour or so all of the ladies were transplanted ❤️ 2 in 7 gallon fabric pots, and 1 in a 5 gallon fabric pot ( the 5 gallon will finish in my 2x4 tent) Once the girls bounce back and take hold of their new forever pot, I will be setting up my custom “floating” SCROG net and allowing them some time to get bent and tucked all nice snug before I flip to a flower schedule. This lil lady is officially flowering. Half way through the week she started growing pistils all over. Switched the lights to 12:12 half way through the week. She recovered from the LST of tying down her top. Room has averaged 85° F / 40% RH with a high of 89° F Ordered larger oscilating fan hoping to get the heat down a bit. Been dealing with fungus gnats in some other plants in the house so I sprinkled ceylon cinnamon on top of the soil, to act as an organic fungicide, and sprayed her down with neem oil as a pest prevention. 💧 Watered: Tuesday May 5, 2020 with 4:1 Water to Hydrogen Peroxide. Installed 6in oscilating fan blowing at the light. Heat is still too high. ~85° average Raised light to 18in above canopy. Shes responding well to the LST and several nodes below the top have now started showing noticible growth.

14-10-2021: Actually I have to start a next week by tomorrow but I have changed so much today I decided to start a new week today.It is still not easy to maintain a VPD of 0.7..... Well it is only an indication in my case because unfortunately I still do not measure the leaf temperature. Temperature was a bit on the high side last night because the temperature sensor of the PK125 has now ended up under the foliage. Of course it is a lot cooler there so it kept running at 10% I have adjusted that, so tomorrow I expect a completely different temperature trend. Also completely emptied the system today and replaced the Hy-Pro with Ata Awa MAX. I have exchanged the Calmag with the Green Sensation, so this will also be dosed (1 ml/L) from now on. I will add Calmag from now on with a pipette. Let's see how the PH is going, as the packaging of the ATA states that it is self-regulating. If that is the case I will put CALMAG in the reservoir of the PH- and reprogram the system. I have chosen not to scrog today. I drilled a hole in the middle and the container to the right of it and killed quite a few roots (unfortunately the drill went through) and that seems, in combination with other nutrition, a suddenly somewhat lower temperature and the torture between the leaves to to get the sensor in place is enough stress for 1 day to me. So they can now go to sleep and tonight we'll see if there is damage. I'm guessing it's not that bad because previous experiences have told me that they can take quite a bit. 17-10-2021: Flowers are starting to form. 18-10-2021: 2 hours of bondage ;) 139 tie-wraps. Damn.. this is a lot of work on a daily basis 20-10-2021: Finally some white hairs on them.. Damn... never took this long. Will it be because of the high temperature?

She is still showing some healthy growth as the weather is great these summer days. Most notably she is getting more and more white pistils everywhere.

Big Seedbank had delivered some great genetics.. She is going the best out of all the plants... really long branches but a lot of pulp flowers already... She still has easy a month to go and already she looks amazing... Feeding as planned.. fingers crossed 🙏

oh did I add I noticed she showing sex this morning as the sun rises so this morning Feb 18 6:22am I decided to up my nutrients  with the first bottle of nutrients I mixed was on a early veg level so I just add 2ml of each my fox farms advance nutrients along with some algas ( made with seaweed somewhere on the island ) which is a root stimulant and a few drops less than a teaspoon of molasses.  and gave my baby a deep feed hope I dont regret this hope I dont get nut burns .

I've brought the PPM down again and kept the pH at 5.7-5.8, plant looks great first grow so very happy, Alot of Trichomes and don't know if I should be getting ready to flush and harvest, buds still getting fatter and she's still thirsty and drinking water but a lot of amber pistils and not sure if the crystals are clear or Milky but plant looks Great, just unsure when to harvest, I've reduced nutes a little more and calyxs still fattening up, gonna hopefully start flushing at end of this week for about 2-3 days in my 4gallon bucket

These bad boys are cranking and getting close. Monitoring trichs and signs to harvest. All 5 seem to be close but will definitely finish up at different times. Took them out for some fresh air. Last pic shows you the variation. I’m estimating maybe 550-650 grams of dry. Did some light defoliation and added support spaced colas evenly.

Had to remove tables from the tent and lift trellis. allowed plants to stand up. defol and lollipopping throughout the week. the reports are all messed up and i have been sort of busy so im just going to photo dump and ill leave it to the viewer to work out whats what from what days. I think stretch is over now but its been a constant battle to keep them away from the lights. this is weeks 3 and a bit of 4.

Day 42 – the girls are deep into flowering now, and they're looking amazing. Buds are really starting to fatten up, and there's a noticeable frost forming on the sugar leaves and top colas. The smell is getting stronger too – sweet and fruity from the Zkittlez side, but with that strong, earthy undertone you’d expect from Gorilla Glue. Ive got some problems on the leaves because i forgot to water it . Stretch has pretty much stopped at this point. They've settled into full bloom mode and are putting all their energy into stacking. I did some light defoliation a few days ago to help with airflow and get light to the lower sites – seems to be working well. Feeding every 2–3 days now. Smell is picking up quickly. Can’t wait to see how frosty they get in the next week or two

The Northern Light produced almost twice as much as White Widow. As they were in the same basin, I attribute the better performance to three factors. 1. Roots made it to basin faster. The WW's pellet dried out before her roots were in the water as the airstone shifted right under the NL. 2. The second and more powerful light was placed directly over the NL, however, the space is so small that they both should have benfited. 3. I did a better LST job on the NL. Overall, happy with the harvest. The buds are airy, my fault. The smell is very lemony with a bit of an earthy smell during the cure. Currently, the taste is minty and refreshing, but still a bit heavy. Effects are nice. Noticeable but not overwhelming or tiring. I think potency will come with age, But both plants tolerated my inexperience and have produced enough fruit to get me by. What else could you ask for out of a first grow?!
