It was a busy week full of events. I got them a 600 watts HPS light and microbes to help them grow faster. I finally started the trellis netting to even the canopy and get more from the lights and I also spray the plants again for bugs. I found out that I've been using powder nutrients on my reservoir and that's probably why I've been getting floods two or tree times a week and now the valve is open only when I'm there, because I'm sick of cleaning and I took that little sick plant out. My cats have her now.

At time the 4 plants (All the cookies) are +/- the same height, but soon the BlueBerries will be bigger than the Oceans. I see a bit overfeeding in the leaves aspect, it must be due to the guano and volcanic soil I added to Soil mix. She started popping pistils. She just got into preflowering let's see how she does. Day 40 flushed her with ph balanced water to remove the salt build up Day 42: Had an accident today tho she recovering and she's totally droopy. Day 44: Thank God She has started stretching again

Week 1 of the latest cycle and starting out with some new hardware and an expanded grow print👍. We’re running 4 autos via a recirculating Dutch bucket system. First time on a dutchy so it’s gonna be interesting to see how it stacks up against DWC. I’ll give a full rundown on the system I’ve cobbled together on the next update. So far - all seedlings have germ’d without issue using the standard p-towel method. Why more people don’t use this method on GD is beyond me. It’s so reliable that some breeders even warranty your seeds if you use this method and more than 1 seed fails to crack. We’ve got little sprouts coming up now and it’s all just waiting for those first couple fan leaves to come out and those roots to run to the bottom of each bucket. They’ve been placed in root riot cubes (essentially a version of rapid rooters) like most of our runs and I’d recommend their use with all autos. Time and stress on young autos is key so they need the absolute best start you can give them👌. End of week update - looks like we got 4 quality little seedlings here👍. Alls good other than battling a ph issue for most of the week. Keeps spiking overnight for no real reason - hopefully it’ll even out and isn’t the early sign of a major problem🤞. Background The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. Dia 134 y semana 6 de floración,ultimo dia de vida de las plantas. Este año ha sido un poco raro las plantas han crecido como monstruos tuvieron un crecimiento espectacular un tallo muy grande y junto con sus ramas flexibles y muy resistentes. Pero al llegar el engorde de floración no se porque les falto el empujon final para hinchar el cogollo, tiene muy buena pinta , mucha resina y muy fuerte buen olor pero me esperaba mas en la fase final. Cortamos ya que tambien habian orugas y no terminaba de eliminarlas por completo, la semana que viene era entera de lluvias así que decidi cortar un poco mas temprano para poder prevenir cualquier mal mayor, hay mucha gente que le gusta cortar antes de tiempo ya que el efecto es muy diferente, este año probaremos que tal.

Cloudy here today. Girls are taking on some nice colors due to the colder nights now. Went down to 2 here a couple of nights ago. Buds are starting to bulk up now. Had to fight a little PM I seen, so I sprayed them down with 60 parts water and 40 parts homogenized milk. All gone now., have to keep my eyes open for any more to start. If so, another blast will do them and that will give them enough time to finish up, without worrying any further...Thanks for all the looks and likes. People here are the best in the world. Thanks AMS for the opportunity to grow the best strains in the world...🙏

Day 71 - Starting week 11 and she’s coming down the end. She’s mostly milky and can’t really see but a couple clear trichs in there, plus a few amber. I’m just waiting now for her to get about 25% amber then I’ll chop. Should be ready for some water in another day or so and read somewhere to give her iced water so gonna try that and see what it does. Loving all the orange and yellow colors that are coming out in her and such a sweet strong smell. Day 72 - She’s was dried out so gave her 2 gallons of water with 5ML of MagiCal and 80ML of Sugardaddy from Technaflora to try and finish her up. She’s probably got about 10ish days left, all milky trichs now and can see she’s starting to amber up a bit more. This could possibly be her last watering but may give her one more drink before chopping. Day 73 - No updates really, just waiting for her to dry up and get the chop. Still watching the trichs and all milky with a few amber still. Day 75 - Still just waiting for her to amber up before chopping and hopefully she’ll get a bit fatter before hand. She’s already rock hard and smells amazingly sweet, should end up being a good smoke in the end. Day 76 - She’s getting a little more amber in here so this is going to be her final week. I’ll give her one more drink of plain water tomorrow and let her dry out till chop day. Day 77 - Ending week 11 and gave her her last drink of water tonight. She’s gonna a ton more amber trichs so will be chopping her some point this weekend, possibly Sunday. She’s showing some amazing colors and smell as well!

1/29/2024 - Day 29 - Week 1 Flower: She started showing preflower last week, but I'm calling this week 1 of flower. She is only 1 ft tall at the moment, which is much smaller than I'd like, so I'm hoping she will stretch over the next couple weeks. This is why I'm not a big fan of autos. I made one mistake with the heavy fouler feed, and my yield is going to be significantly impacted my that one mistake. It's my fault, but still frustrating.

Didn't do much training to CS #1 and #2. and I had the best yield from these. CS #3 I LST'd which produced more top but the buds were much smaller. I also think #3 plant requires more notes near the end and my water i only organic soil mix ran out. The pics will illustrate the difference between CS #3 and the others. I enjoyed growing these. The smell near the end of flower was awesome. Very strong, diesel fuel, turpentine, with a little piney hops.

Almost killed one of the candy candy plants today by watering too fast ended up LST-ing all of the plants with the exception of the other candy candy which I am letting grow natural.

Shorter plants 13”, larger is 18”. Beneficial nematodes and the sticky trap seem to have handled the gnat issue. I’m continuing to use nematodes after watering, and the traps will remain. I did a little trimming but probably won’t do much more defoliation until the stretch is over. This will probably be my last shower grow. I think it makes more sense to get a bigger space like a tent or build one and some more lights. It’s getting cramped in there. It’s also starting to reek. I water about every 2-3 days using a 1/2 gallon jug to mix my nutes. I’m keeping ph close to 6.5 and ppms between 600-800. I don’t use nutes in every watering—it depends on how the plants look. This week has been going good I think I will be chopping some of the buds off of her within the next week to start the drying and curing process im going to try my hand at cloning this lady.

This is the final week, next time will be the harvest, this girl just got mature from a day to the other, lost 70% of the top bud due to rot i haven t seen. So i could get virtually 30-40% yield from this girl Without the locks or rot, anyhow still looking ok as far as harvest, quality will be a bit compromise, not the end of times though lol! 🙃👊🏻👍🏻
