Day 35 Flower Hey Growers. Things are going well here, other than the delicious funk that is emanating from my house. The carbon filter is not able to keep up with these beauties and the FastBuds flowering at the same time. It’s also about 5 years old so…..time for a new one. It also doesn’t help that the 4 ft of snow around the house is melting and I have to have the grow room door open for the sump line, but whatever. These girls are just cruising along. I watered with 950 ppm and 1650 was the runoff. I’m noticing a bit of tip burn but I hear that normalish for full spectrum leds. They make the plants draw extra mag, seems like the Epsom is helping with that. I’m getting to a point where I may need to water twice a day to achieve denser quality buds, the next couple weeks will dictate that. Hand watering hydro is a terrible idea!!!!!!!!!! Too late to turn back. I am running the Vipar Spectra XS2000 at the recommended 16” at 100%. I’m also alternating from the right to left side of the tent each day like a poor man’s light mover. I’m noticing leaf edge curl (tacoing) but it’s nothing major and they pointing upwards. They seem happy. All in all I’m happy with how it’s going, just gonna keep it on cruise control and tuck or remove leaves causing problems. Happy Growing 🌱

Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain. She has grown large compared to the other plant in the Athena. They do have a very common bud structure, and smell. I think it was just 2 different phenom types. I switched her to ph water yesterday. I will be harvesting her in roughly a week for the next update. She has a good cloudy trichrome percent with just a few Amber's here, and there. So it's time to finish her up. Day 86 . I will chop first two today. Plant A and B, C stays for a week still, a bit airy and not mature , but she was in shade mostly ... Spent almost 5 hours defoliating other plants and got too high and drunk a bit, so dry trim chosen for first two ;)))) Day 93. Last girl down ! Dry trim again ! @PurpleWorship just to prove my kilo idea I made a video for you ;))) this one was starved, she needed watering yesterday, so I could bump her to 1.5 easy .... Her sisters were heavier ;))) will do one more with monster Green Crack, can make a bet she will be above 2 kg easy ! ;))) Made some bubble hash, got light brown and pinky colour at the end when dried. 06/06/2019 Start Of week 2 flowering and ,plants are stretching , her room mate is Banana kush and will be moving out very soon!.

Despite a slight salt buildup, Scrooge is thriving. After measuring the drainage, it showed 1200ppm, so I'll be flushing it out. Increased the feed to around 1000ppm to ensure it gets the nutrients it needs. Let's keep those vibes positive! 🌿🌟

Had some light potassium deficiency and continued magnesium deficiency despite adding the calmag so I doubled up on both of them. Defoliated, topdressed, backed the lights off because one of them is singed.

11/22 Day 15 and a new week begins! Upped the nuets to 7ml/gal each of cocotek AB at 6.0-ish giving TDS of 510 after adjustment for water. Forgot how tight these plants can be, raised lights 2" to increase inter-node a bit Up feed to 700ppm adding 1ml ctab 11/25 Transplant into five gal pots Feed 800ppm 10ml CT A&B 10 ml Kangaroots 5.9PH 11/26 First bend on Annie - Belle will do tomorrow. They seem to be taking less than two cups feed in those pots to produce enough runoff. No sign of any deficiencies as yet, liking the CocoTek so far. 11/27 Both trained life seems good :) 11/28 End of week and they look healthy Continuing training and leaving nuets as is until I get a water filter to drop the TDS on the tap water. Needs to drop about 100ppm before I can add more

Same old same old. No changes this week at all. Having changed it up to watering every day has made a huge difference and this plant is really bulking. My guess will be another 2 weeks till chop time. The smell is very strong and when rubbing a leaf I still pick up a fruit smell.

Soon to have yum yums! Myster Strain is purping up. So is 10th Planet. Marrion Berry is starting to color. Although not much at all. Temple Kush x Zkittlez better have something that I can't see. Snowcaine V2. is looking to win the "chunky girl" award and take home the yeild queen trophy. She has also stolen my "eye" from mystery strain. In the next 7 days they will start to come down! :) Gave the girls a bit of a poodle trim. Only did about half the tent due to time restrictions in my real world life. Hopefully there is enough time for the light to even them out down below. BingoBango!

Whew!! That was a Hot Week just past. Several days in a row of around 40 degrees followed by 38 and 39 degrees. Today however is Overcast and much cooler with about a 60% chance of rain later on. The Wifi plant hasn't seemed to mind the hot weather in fact she grew another inch or three. During summer and high temps it's beneficial for your outdoor grown plants to be given some Seaweed or Kelp solution. There is something in it that is fantastic for stress relief in all plants. It can be used at any time of the day and growth stage of the plant and is simply watered in or applied with a foliar sprayer. I also added to the soil 1 smalll scoop of Great White Mycorrhizal powder and Azospirillum. These are root innoculants that will keep the plants root zone healthy and happy. all thats needed is to thoroughly water it into the soil and your good to grow. I used my Bluelab soil ph probe to measure the soils ph which seems to be pretty stable at 6.5 so all good there not much else to report for now so I shall sign off for this week.
