Week 7 of Veg for these beautiful Apple Betty ladies! It was a stressful week for the girls but they made it❤️ Day 44 - I decided the girls had outgrown their 2 gallon nursery pots and were ready to move on. After a quick cleanup of the stems close to the base, they were ready to go. I like to keep my soil in a Rubbermaid bin, either with a fan lightly blowing, or the exhaust line from my tent blowing at it. Since I started doing this, I have not had any gnats or pests in my grows, of course with regular cleanings and IPM…my mix is Promix HP with about 20% worm castings added to it. This time around, I decided to use some Dynomyco to increase the mycorrhiza count of my Promix HP. This will increase root development by adding all kinds of interconnected webbing and allow for better uptake of nutrients overall. Within an hour or so all of the ladies were transplanted ❤️ x2 in 7 gallon fabric pots, and 1 in a 5 gallon fabric pot ( the 5 gallon will finish in my 2x4 tent) Once the girls bounce back and take hold of their new forever pot, I will be setting up my custom “floating” SCROG net and allowing them some time to get bent and tucked all nice snug before I flip to a flower schedule. No problems with growth, buds rapidly putting on weight and smell is getting stronger each day! Had to cut down on nutrients slightly as I think was feeding a little more than she could consume. Looks like she will be fully ripened around or on the 8th week. I liked the fact she started with the Durban poison, sweet smell and then as she progressed into flower, the loud, dank Kush slowly creeps up before finally taking over the the sweet smell of the Durban poison. Right now as I wright this, the Kush smell has started to mellow down and mix into a nice sweet nutty scent.

Week 2 Some buds are forming, need to defoliate and lollipop shortly. Starting to smell. Had to supercrop a few of them, they recovered over night. Still stretching but it's manageable now. Back 2 on the left are a lot lighter in color almost yellow, not sure what's going on there, different strains but still. ..there still praying in the morning don't look sick but still something is off.. gonna check runoff on next watering. Any advise questions or concerns would be much appreciated.

Week 6 Day 38 of flower 08/14/2020 ~Average~ Temp: 76-84f RH: 42% Ph: 5.9-6.2 Notes: Everything is right on schedule. These ladies are swelling by the day, trichromes production is still at large. The trichromes are starting to be noticeable from the eye. I checked with my digi scope and the trichromes are mostly clear with milky, little to no amber. I will keep my eye on those these next couple of weeks. Happy cultivating✌️🏽

Autos transferred to 1gl pots.. Looking good so far.. Going into 4 weeks and soon ready for LST. 🌱🎋

They are being fed twice a week, with 5 glasses of 6oz each. Additionally, calcium and boron have been sprayed on the leaves. The overall smell is slightly stronger than last week. EC 1.1 PH between 5.8 - 6.2

Day 69 (March 6th) Just gave everyone their last watering. I’m going to harvest and wash everything tomorrow night on day 70. I‘m not going to do that whole 48 hours of darkness thing because I didn’t see a difference last time I did it. In fact, it made my plant under watered before drying which caused it to dry too fast. Slurricane and cheese will be washed with h2o2 and the rest will just be rinsed off in warm RO water and hung up. Before and after washing I’m going to go over each branch with a flashlight and make sure there is no dog hair or debris in or on the buds. I will be drying in my spare bathroom (that no one uses!) from hangers. Aiming to keep it around 60-62F and 50-60 RH. Hoping for that 10-12 day dry. I wanted to do a full plant hang but the tent got pretty dirty and I would feel more comfortable just cutting and rinsing everything off branch by branch. I’m going to try my best to keep the full plant intact. Got my humidifier hooked up and running RO water because with tap water it deposits calcium and lime all over the buds and walls. For air flow I’m just indirectly running a small usb fan. I’m not worried about air flow in the bathroom honestly. It stays nice and breezy down there anyway. Got the food grade peroxide and RO water to wash up the slurricane and cheese. Everything except for the cheese and garlic#1 is looking more than done. Trichomes all look pretty well done. Some of them have even burst open. Smells are all super ripe and mature too. Can’t wait to smell each individually in jars. Next week I will recap what went wrong and what I will do differently next time to keep it from happening again. (Day 70F) Just got everything chopped, washed and hanging. The vast majority of the PM was washed out but I can still see very small amounts. When they dry out I can shake the branches a bit to get the rest off. At very least it’s sterile now. There is no question I lost some potency while washing but the amount is negligible for a much cleaner product. I could see lots of dirt and other debris float to the surface of the water after being washed. And no those are not trichomes, those sink to the bottom. I could put that nasty water through a bubble bag and wouldn’t get all that much. Although it probably does remove a lot of the actual trichomes heads. I’ll have to check with the microscope. Everything is rigged up for a nice slow dry. Temp is sitting at 64 and RH is at a nice 60%.

Weekly update on these wonderful girls. They've progressed beautifully, especially considering the day time temps have been in the mid 90's. Not seeing any signs of deficiencies and spraying once a week of either Athena's IPM and stack or PureCrop1 for pest management. So far since being transplanted they've only been fed well water. I'll probably start some Grow A & B nutes and calmag this week. All in all Happy Growing.

I SOAKED THE SEEDS IN A CUP OF WATER, WITH A DASH OF HYDROGEN PEROXIDE, FOR 24 HRS. I THEN DUMPED THEM ON A PLATE BETWEEN PAPERTOWLS, AND ANOTHER PLATE(NOT TOO SOAKED-MAKE ROOM FOR AIR) UNDERNEATH I PLACED A HEATING PAD UNDER THE PLATE, FOR 24 HRS, TIIL THEY POP AND ROOT TAIL IS QUARTER TO HALF AN INCH FROM THERE I PLACED THEM IN PRE-SOAKED JIFFY PELLETS, AND PLACED THEM IN A GERMINATION KIT/WITH LID DOME. I DEFINETLY MESSED UP BY KEEPING THEM TOO MOIST. AND HAD TO TREAT THEM WITH A HYDROGEN PEROXIDE(3%)DELUTED WITH WATER, UNDER AND TOPPED. THEY ARE 10 DAYS NOW, I BEEN TRYNA HARDEN THEM OFF, PLAN ON TRASNFERING THEM TO THE SYSTEM. WISH ME LUCK

Que pasa familia, vamos con la octava semana de floración de estas Black muffin F1 de Sweetseeds. Vamos al lío, me quede con 3 por espacio, siempre pongo alguna semilla de más por si no abriese alguna por no perder ese hueco del indoor. También se trasplantaron a su maceta definitiva, en este caso de 7 litros y el trasplante se realizó correctamente. El ph se controla en 6.2 , la temperatura la tenemos entre 20/22 grados y la humedad ronda el 50%. Tienen un aroma bastante fuerte, las flores parece que están prietas y están repletas de tricomas. Las jodidas han estirado bastante, ya veremos que ocurre como termina todo. Hasta aquí todo, Buenos humos 💨💨💨

Spent the week playing around with a the temps/humidity to find the right setup to balance the numbers. VPD has stayed right around 1-1.18kpA. Starting to think I might have stunted grow a little at the beginning of flowering. Looking through other grows and progress at week 3 of flowering mine seem to be a little behind. Next time I will back of defoliation and lollipopping some lol. None the less everything seems to be going ok and plants still looking healthy. I’m hoping they stop growing as tent space is getting tight again. I’ve been building out an actual grow space and setting things up to try out a hydro grow. Picked up 4 Scorpion Diablo lights, quest70 dehumidifier, and going with a RDWC setup. Did a ton of research and Starting building my own system. Hopefully I can get things setup in the next week or so. I will update with a couple pictures as progress continues. Keep an eye out!
