This is the 8th week. Thursday will be 9 weeks of 12/12. Some trichs are amber. They just added a good bunch of girth over the past few days, but most of the pistils are red now. The rest of them have been dropping leaves consistenly but the canopy remains full so they must be putting out more leaves. I just flushed to 80% runoff and found out that I had 1200ppm. I just got an ec meter but my last reading said closer to 600 so idk what happened there. I flushed until I had runoff ppm of about 150. Now they're back in the grow tent. I don't want to keep assaulting them with my microscope. I think they're ready. Just gonna let them settle another day or two to dry out a bit. I took one small branch off the small Wedding Cake plant on Thursday and I've just been watching it dry on my counter. It's been 5 days and the stem snaps but still leaves a fiber connecting. I put it into a small jar with a 64RH thing. I just want to try it. It already smells amazing. The leaves on the big CBD Blue Shark plant are going really yellow and some other colours are starting to come out as well. The buds all fattened up and got more frosty again. I was worried they were foxtailing but they got more calyxes underneath the peaks and have been making more of a pyramid shape. They're really close to peak. Harvest day will be March 17 or 18. March 17 1023pm chopped and hung after lights off all day. RH was 65% before I chopped and 50% after I closed the window and cut the plants off the saturated pots. I did a wet trim to prevent mold. The buds are sticky af. Gonna hang them to dry for 7-9 days before curing in jars :) March 18 : checked the RH when I woke up and it's chilling at 45% 😎 March 19 : just checked to see how they were drying. There are seeds in every plant. RIP I'll update when I put them in jars and again a few weeks later for final review. Overall it was a good grow despite the rocky start and a good introduction to the mainline technique and my new grow space. Next grow I should have everything pretty well dialed in. March 23 They were hanging for 3 days. Rh was around 45, then spiked to 65 overnight when I forgot to turn the fans back on. Temp was high at around 26.they felt wet after 2 days, and bone dry after 4 days. The stems still didn't snap but I put them in jars anyway. A day later, jar RH was 50%. I burped all the jars and there was a smell from the new jars. I took all the weed out, washed out the jars, and did a dry trim on the weed. One of the Wedding Cake plants must have gone hermie. I didn't see any bananas and didn't even realize there were seeds until the very end. The seed pods looked just like calyxes while the plants were growing. Many of the nugs are unusable. Under the sugar leaves are just layers and layers of seeds. Some weren't hit that badly. The CBD Blue Shark is much better off but still has some seeds. I'm trying to stay positive. It's a bit of a shock though. I'm anxious to try the finished product. If the flowers at least taste good and have a good effect, all is not lost.

Gorilla Jealousy F1 is making progress. She is just shaking off the stress of 2 neem oil treatments. I have not seen any signs on her. She was just in same area. So it had to be done to try to solve it. I dunno if it is solved yet. I am watching and still looking to find whatever it is. That's all that is really going on. She's now starting to get some good bud developemnet. Took super long to even start budding. Started giving her some nutrients. A little too late but she'll make it. Overall, I'm pleased to have gotten her this far!

Welcome to week 6 y'all. Things continue to progress nicely, this little lady has started to grow flowers and at present I count about 11 bud sites on the canopy. The flowers are developing nicely and it looks like they have some dark purple colouring around the flower... neat. In addition to the LST I've been doing some light defoliation. Nothing major just a leaf here or there to expose flowers to light. She's really low but really flat not the prettiest plant but strong. Looking ahead to this week I ordered a new grow light from Mars Hydro which should get those buds to fatten up nicely. I might increase the water a bit and continue to feed with Dutch Science Nutrients' Bloom Baby Bloom and adjust LST not much more defoliation should be required until later on like week 8 I think.

Week two I tried the scrog net but ditched it. Started using the heavy 16 line up as well. I had a spider mite issue that I squashed with neem oil. You can see they are bouncing back.

Mrs Big B is about to have her sweet stretch to Budville so I hope I've shaped her well enough to take full advantage of the light space. If not a traditional 'Super crop' will solve any future spacing issues. Ha ha. Due to an accident in her younger days she's sort of become a triple stem after topping. I'm hoping I get something cool looking as a result. I trimmed a few lower buds that would soon be overshadowed by the canopy and not worth her effort. Weekly does of Biobizz triple nuits and tap water just to top up and irrigate. Because shes not drinking loads yet. My LST may need refining..... but we learn every mistake right?

Opened them both up and trimmed up some lower branches and the likes. Defoliation aswell on some leaves. Flower stretch under way ! Still having issues with one not absorbing what she needs was advised to up the ph in autopot res to 5.8 6.0 ph so have done so to see if that helps ! All in all looking good

Hello everyone, Even tho I've been busy around the house this week, I took a few minutes and transplanted these into 5 gallon fabric pots, get them going early in some super soil. Lets see how they turn out. Ill have better picture's for you guys next week... See you guys next week...

I started cutting most of the fan leaves today. She looks good and I can see buds beginning to grow :) She really has giant fan leaves and massive stems... In case you're wondering: the scrogging net makes no sense at all since there was no space left to do anything with it :) It's just there for the other plants...

You walk into the back yard and it’s a straight face punch of smells. Looking like some indoor rn moved all plants to safer place in case storm hits so now I atleast have a wind break

03/23/2024- Yoooo gang update!!!!! =============================== =============================== SOOO what's brackin gang!?! Did some training and increased light to canopy intensity and man did she really take off! So I'm using frozen water bottles of various sizes to make sure the water in the tank stays cold, trying to keep it between 60 and 66 Fahrenheit so it's not gunna develop unwanted issues t That comes with warm Temps in a dwc setup, using UC Cultured Solutions UC Roots, which is really great for increasing root development and also descaling and cleanliness but yea other than that we letting her really stretch, I AM GOING TO MAKE HER A MOTHER FOR THE NEXT TENT WHICH WILL BE UP IN LESS THAN ONE MONTH, but yea once her clones are rooted in the big tent I'm gunna flip her and she gunna take off!!! Welcome to my Gorilla Cookies Diary sponsored by Pure Instinto & Mars-Hydro. Flower Days 25-37 Days 71-83 wks 11-12 Plant is getting nice and fat. Buds are started to swell real nice. Still a about a week to go before she enters Ripening. Trichomes are 60-40 cloudy/clear. Ambers about 15%. Has been nice watching her develop into a lovely little plant. She is little, at just 53cm, she grew very little in her stretch, as did all of my fems. 1 grew 5cm in her whole pre flower, a dom sativa too. But, back to this girl. She has a lovely structure with a sweet smell, her buds pop with bright orange pistils, she still has a good bit of stumble, so, I reckon she's got about a week left in putting on mass. Diet/Defoliation She was on a healthy but low dose of feed never exceeding 650ppm with both Short Flowering and PK booster powder from Green House Feeding. I've decided to drop their booster for 3 of Atamis finishers with a touch of Plagron Zym & Silic Rock the Finishers ppm falls inthe range of 350-430ppm and then I add short flowering to give a boost for N, which brings the ppm up to 550-600 & PHs of 5.9-6.2, I've ordered Raw NPK & Micro nutrients to have more control over my feeds. For terpine/taste profile I went with the best product on the market, Terpinator "The OG" feeds off this are very high I feel, 380-410ppm PH 6.1. Very light defoliation has been done, as she really had already a low leaf-calyx ratio. So, I'm happy overall with her progress, all a little slow, but, she's getting there. I reckon 9 weeks total in Flowering but, as soon as I see 90-95% cloudy she'll be harvested. I won't be waiting for her to turn mostly amber. (As the weed degradation kicks in) I've been learning bit and extras with every grow, and they just keep getting better and better, the quality of her look already speaks to my improvements. Still a long way to go. But, I feel I for sure can reach beyond Dispen weed you get from a store, or local dealer. Lights: SP 3000 & IR/UV45 are been used to great affect this round, they're doing 8 plants in a 50x100cm2 space as opposed to the 11 I did in a space of 100cm2. Can already see much improvement in the bud. Glad I decided to retry this light in its more desirable coverage conditions. The IR/UV45 has stepped up my game so much, I really can't praise this product enough. (IF YOU'RE GROWING FEMS, AND UNDERSTAND THE IMPORTANCE OF DLI, and don't implement this "1-2hrs extra flowering for all fems, without risk of reveg" then, well you really are behind in the times. And, its not as if its a new concept, Far Reds have been used by knowledgeable growers for decades to increase the flowering time and therefore your DLI. The UV-A is a really nice addition also. My bud as at least gotten 50-70% more resin, and on the Trich front, just look for yourself at my last harvests. Thanks to both my sponsors from MarsHydro & Pure Instinto.
