🌿Week 4: Defoliation & SCROG Setup Week 4 was all about structure and airflow. The canopy was getting bushy fast, with a ton of inner growth, so we went in for a solid defoliation session across the board. Lower fans, overlapping leaves, and shaded internodes were cleaned up to let light penetrate deeper into the canopy and reduce potential humidity traps. Right after that, we finally dropped the SCROG net, stretched out gently across the canopy to guide the branches horizontally and prep for flower stacking. Some of these phenos are already reaching for the sky, so the timing felt just right. Captured a full-time-lapse clip of the defoliation + netting process. It’s super satisfying watching the chaos turn into clean lines. Nature meets intention. Feed Bloom since 20/6 22/6 Defoliation 🌱 Plant Response: After defol, they bounced back fast. Tops are perky, leaves are praying, and stretch is continuing in a controlled way. The structure’s more open now — better airflow, better light distribution, better everything.

this week is going smooooth. Te fact that the temperatures went down turned out to be good cause it happened right at the end. Next time I water I'm going to flush 😁 then wait til the soil is a little dry (but before they look thirsty) 😁😁😁😁 im happy with this grow cause it was my first one so I can't complain. Next time I'll be more preventive towards pests 😬 and use cuttings to do clones too😁😁 they have an amazing smell. I think before harvest ill also give them 24 hrs of darkness to increase resin 😆😆😆😆😆😆

Day 43. so main change, i lost my mobile and i had really loads of photos and videos of ex grows. i blacklisted it, but still... from now i will reduce amount of post and updates, it is stupid, but i cant risk ... Girls all week on diet, looks like only one Gorilla is starving a bit and would need more, but in my plans last watering with molases this time only. They already had runs with silica only. cal mag only x2. Think worm castings was an isue, control garden grows really fine, will be my smallest plants ever, they will have 3 weeks in total for veg. Happy growing and dont loose your mobiles, huge pain .... Day 48. Gorillas are really nice and i cant denny it, but .... Cookies are worst experience ever... They just dont want to grow and show up new issue the second you fight one.... I even made control garden with more than years old beans of Incredible Bulk and bagseed Strawberry Cough. Both strains grow ok, but not Cookie !!! Thats honestly wrong genetics, unless someone prove me wrong, open for your advices ... Hard training again, still on pure water diet with calmag or silica or molases as small bonus while no feed for two weeks + .... Lights are out because training took longer than i wanted. ... Next week they go to 24 hours darkness and light is changed to 12/12. That was last week of really hard training, now i will wait for green mass of leaves to cover stems and hope they will make some buds ;)) Choose your beans wisier than me ... Happy growing !!!

Last week only lots of tap water for my Mexican Ladies. Her leaves got a bit yellow but that was expected and planned. Today was the day to thank them for their service and I cut them both down to drie, with all leaves included except for the fan leaves. Can't wait to see and test the results! She is not a heavy packer, in weight it won't be a lot but I am aiming for Quality > Quantity 😏

Reducing the nutrients now. She is flowering slowly, I've never grown this strain before as it is a free seed! So I'm letting her do her thing slowly.

Well the grow was very pleasant, she got amazing structure an look of the buds, very frosty and amazing smell...so thank you Mephisto genetics you did insane job. i have ordered few seed from Mephisto but they lost i guess(((coz i have not receive them. D15 - 9.27 - Cruising along, just watering them once a day D16 - 9.28 - I planted carrots and transplanted the rest of the seedlings. They are all in the same space. That one LA Sunset never really started to thrive, but I'll keep it for now. D18 - 9.30 - I topped my first plant for mainlining. I picked the strongest FWW with the most growth tip at the 3rd node and just went for it. She may be a little young, so I left her fan leaves for support. I've decided to do 3 groups of two for this grow, in an attempt to experience how these different strains respond to different techniques - Pair 1 will be mainlined with 8 mains, Pair 2 will be mainlined with 4 mains and Par 3 will not be mainlined but traditionally topped to 4 mains. D19 - 10.1 - Topped the first Black Sugar for mainlining. Her growth tips are really nice looking. D20 - 10.2 - Have them all topped 👌

On week 7 she is still putting out a lot of new pistils. Colas are fattening up but still have a few more weeks to go. The smell is sweet and fruity so far but its still early as trichs are still developing. Her top colas got a little too close to the lights and may be fox tailing or shes just more sativa of a pheno either way shes making some long colas and Im happy about that :)
