Hey guys! Sorry for the big delay since my previous grow! Right now I'm growing some babies from Royal Queen Seeds! Kali Dog! 😃 The first week was calm! The babies broke out from their shells rather fast and two babies grew out of their jiffy pods rather fast! Also, since the strain is Kali Dog I decided to name each of the plants with a different dog name! I'm still unsure about the names but the first two are called Roko and Max! For the first time I also noticed the first buds looked... different? You'll be able to see them in the photos tho... and once again two of my babies are suffering from helmet head 😰 But eh, I'm used to it. Gladly it's an easy error to fix. I'll try to make a longer timelapse (these were bad!) but I didn't know my camera battery wasn't enough for long sessions 😝 Anyway, thanks for reading! See you all next week! 👋

Day 3 of flower & these ladies are stretching great! We are having a bit of a calmag Deficiency right now but currently in the process of trying to fix it so hopefully they bounce back! The Gelato OG from seedsman is a monster to only be 42 days old not sure if I just got a good pheno or what happened but compared to the other gelato beside it from the same bag it looks like a completely different plant! Can’t wait to see how the buds turn out! UPDATE - Thurs 4th March The week has been fine. I am going there today so you may get an update this evening. Iv been posting on TheWeedTube also so I have much more videos explaining what’s going on. Plants are looking great. I got paid today so I bought an online fan to plug into the thermostat and pull fresh air in through a duct from a cooler part of the flat. In summer it won’t be as useful but to be honest I’ll probably just duct tape the sucky end of the duct to a small ac or Friday type thing, iv not really looked into it yet. Even a hillbilly cooking system would be better than nothing. ( filling a bucket up with ice, water and salt and put the end of the duct into that so it sucks in the cold air). We’ll see! Update - Monday 8th March All is well, I just want the buds to start swelling now. I found some awesome supports in Aldi. They are metal rings that the plant weaves through and has spikes that go into the pot rather than a scrog net being fixed in place. Therefore I can still move them and drain the run off.

Day 56-63 (Day 57) I might have to fix the light to the roof of the tent so I can get another 3 inches up. The ppfd is just too intense at this height. The node stacking is super tight, I’m seeing some droop on almost every plant and the plants just look stunted. I might have to take out the big shelf I just paid 90$ for and raise the light to get the ppfd level down. This happened my last grow as well. It’s a great light for flowering but sucks ass for veg unless it’s hung 5’ above the canopy. I’ve seen videos of others with the same light and they have to fix it to the roof. The dimming function only works with a master controller I don’t have the money for right now. Pulling bbb #2. I’m seeing very small but clear pollen sacks. It’s also drooping like crazy. The roots don’t look as healthy as some of the other males I pulled earlier. They have a slight brown tinge but still mostly white. I wonder if I accidentally gave top dressed it too many times when I mixed them all up a while ago. I’m going to transplant bbb’s #1, #3, #6 & #7 into my 10 gallon destiny/coco pots lightly water. This is kind of a gamble because 2 of them are not showing definitively. Although I’m about 75% sure they’re fems. If not, I got my two backups. (Day 58) I was reading about symptoms of high PH and I definitely have it indicated by the twisted and stunted growth on top. I’m going to try to water in a full gallon at 5.8 and see if I get a good response. I sprayed the pump nozzle directly into the soil after it was empty to put some oxygen into that big 10g pot. The blackberry I gave the lowered PH water too noticeably responded within a few hours. The clawing has pretty much stopped and it now looks like the healthiest plant in the tent. I’m going to see how it responds over the next few days then try it with my other plants if everything looks good. I’m going to try it with bbb #5 in the 1.7g pot and see if it responds in the same way. I ran a gallon of 5.8 water through 1.7g and got less than a 100ml of runoff which is a little surprising. The runoff measured 1750ppms which seems a little on the high side but isn’t insane for peat based soil. (Day 59) Wow. The plants responded to that little PH adjustment insanely well. #5 isn’t dropping at all and the leaf wrinkles are actually flattening out. It’s starting to look like one of the healthiest plants in the tent. I’m still hoping for #5 to show female. 5 plants would cut my veg time down and give me another opportunity for a keeper pheno. All 4 plants are looking like they’ve already recovered from their transplant. #1 in particular was drooping like crazy yesterday and today it’s bounced back and looking happier than ever. I’m seeing a bit of tip droop on a few plants but they still seem fine I wonder if because my soil is 50% coco I should try watering on the acidic side, around 6.0-6.2 from now on. I’m almost certain that solved all the issues I was having. (Day 62) Plants are all looking really healthy. They all seem to have outgrown the initial light stress actually but node stacking is still really tight and I hope to raise the light up next week sometime. I’m going to drop the humidity to 60% for the rest of veg. These pots are massive and I’m still a little worried about dry downs but they aren’t showing any signs of overwatering or lack of oxygen. BBB#3 is starting to show some weird discoloring like an mag or nitrogen deficiency. Which is weird because it’s freshly transplanted into nitrogen rich soil. Guess I will give it a kelp foliar spray. I’ve been looking for a good organic source of K without an absurd amount of magnesium and sulfur like langbeinite has. I found some 0-0-15 kelp/seaweed extract in soluble crystal form. So from time to time I will water that in at half strength or with compost teas to keep my soil K dominant. (Day 63) I’m still waiting on #6 to show sex. I am shocked it hasn’t shown sex yet. Although it was started a week and a half after the others but still. I’m going to be so pissed if it ends up being a male. I’m taking a gamble but I’m confident it will show female when the time comes. bbb#3 got a little more color back from that foliar spray. Hope that doesn’t get worse because it’s my favorite pheno so far. I will give a N boost in the form of compost tea tomorrow afternoon to both of my tents. I’m starting to utilize the scrog net and boy does it make training way easier. This seems to be a much smarter style of growing for yield and quality. I’m getting tired of these pH fluctuations every time I water. I’ve been eyeballing for the most part and I need a consistent formula. I found the perfect mix to stabilize my RO water and stabilize the pH at 6.2. I moistened the top soil of each plant and will watch for any reactions. Water recipe: 60ml bottled water 2000ml RO water 3ml calmag 2ml microbes

Everything went according to plan. From germination the plant displayed a very good development. With no training I believe she gave a very good yield. She always looked very strong with no signs of any risk.

Another rough week...high temps and horribly arid conditions, and still the grasshoppers appear every damn day! I'm beginning to think I have a root aphid problem. Mysterious Mg deficiencies for two grows. Also looking like phosphorous deficiency as well..no way... She's popping pistils now...just a few so far..

Such an amazing flower, really great especially a phenomenal hash producer yall will be super satisfied with this one!! She’s a shorty but Make sure you top 4 to 6 times or even more to have all them gooey bud producing heads , Dirtyblonde is absolutely an amazing plant!!

Welcome back to week 3 of this grow diary! Just like the other plant this one is unfortunately presenting with an interveinal chlorosis and also at the end of the week it started developing some brown spots mainly at the leave edges. I’m not really sure what’s going on but I suspect it’s a magnesium deficiency that’s the only thing making sense to me. I had slight problems with adjusting my watering volume and frequency to this new substrate. I overwatered a bit last week because the substrate apparently has a higher water holding capacity. Immediate actions: Less watering, corrugated cardboard under planters for insulation from cold tiles, checked soil PH (slurry test), ordered Epsom salt (should take about a week to arrive) for foliar application. I’m pondering flushing the substrate so that I can be sure it’s not caused by excess of other nutrients and lockout. But since I noticed that the substrate holds water a little bit to well for my taste this could also backfire and further worsen symptoms. Unsure on how to proceed, guess I’ll have to wait for the Epsom salt and try if a foliar spray improves the status of my plants :( Let me know if you have any input on the matter!

Day 83 - 03/06/23 - Harvested Northern Lights #1

Hello Diary. The last week was over and we came to the end of the journey. Ten weeks in total, three weeks of vegetation and seven weeks of flowering, and a total of 77 days since Mimosa # 1 sprouted, while Mimosa # 2 sprouted a few days later but their harvest was the same day. Last week there were no surprises, I watered the plants regularly and observed the development of trichomes. Mimosa # 1 - beautiful structure of the stem, I had to connect the branches to the stem and the stick that I put later, so that the branches would not crack and the plant would be more beautiful for the last photo shoot. The flowers are smaller and more airy, they did not fill as I expected, but they are full of trichomes, sticky under the fingers and have a strong scent. I will see what the flowers will look like after drying. Mimosa # 2 - looks a lot better. Although she stretched a lot, the flowers filled much better than her sister Mimosa # 1. With the look of the flowers, I wouldn’t say it’s the same strain. I had to stabilize it with tying, the whole plant swayed heavily given the weight of the flowers at the top of the stalk. Both plants have been closer to light than Migro recommends in the last few weeks, but as far as I can see, nothing has hurt them. As I expect to harvest, this week I followed the development of trichomes on the flowers, most of them milky and when I noticed the appearance of browns, I prepared everything and had a harvest. So I harvested all three plants in the grow box the same day. The condition in the grow box is satisfactory, the temperature is around 29 degrees and the humidity is slightly lower than 50%, and one fan blows all the time, mixing the air in the box. I can't say yet exactly if I am satisfied, we will see after drying what we managed to achieve. As for the yield, I don’t believe it will be spectacular, especially with Mimosa # 1, but I won’t predict anything in advance. After I cut the plants at the bottom of the stalk, I hung them in a grow-box upside down to dry. Since I dry whole plants in one piece with the flowers, they will probably take longer to dry completely. The ventilation will stay on to make the airflow better. Here’s what the last week looked like. 19/07/2021 - Day 65. Watering. I adjusted the p.H to 6.3 and with 8 liters of water I watered all three plants evenly. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 30 degrees and 51% humidity. 21/07/2021 - Day 67. Watering. p.H 6.4. Same procedure as two days earlier. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 28 degrees and 41% humidity. 23/07/2021 - Day 69. Last watering. p.H I dropped to 6.4. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 29 degrees and 48% humidity. 25/07/2021 - Day 71. Photography and Harvest. After taking photos and video, I cut off the plant at the bottom of the stalk and hung it in a grow-box to dry in the dark. Whenever I write a report from the last week, some nostalgia overwhelms me after the harvest. I hang out with them every day, I take care of them, I send them positive energy and I hope they will reward me richly for it. We'll see what the reward will be here. Very new to both hydroponics and indoor growing. If you see anything I’m doing wrong, I’ll take all the criticism, gladly! Update 4/12 Plant really took root over the weekend. From what i can tell, she’s growing like she’s suppose to. I would love some coaching on when to start feeding nutes(fox farm trip) - if I might add soil is •bottom half is 100% FF Ocean Forest •top half is -4 scoops FFOF -1 scoop perlite -1 scoop peat moss (all mixed until full)

3.9.2024: Start of week 8. Day 50 from seed, 46 from sprout. Nothing doing today, plant is healthy and getting fatter by the day. Plucked a few leaves but thats it. 3.10.2024: Day 51. Fed 1/4 strength fox farm trio mixed w/ calmag into over a gal of 6.5ph water. Gave roughly 3 liters of the solution. Runoff ppm is finally under 1000. Might increase nutes to 1/2 strength moving forward. Bud development on the main cola is almost half the main stalk now. I'm no pro when it comes to taking pictures so its hard for me to get clear, detailed shots of the nugs. 3.11.2024: Day 52, 48 from sprout. Moving along nicely. 3.12.2024: Day 53. Fed 1/4 strength, roughly 96oz at 6.4ph. I broke the feed/water/feed schedule and fed twice in a row. Also did some lite defoliation on the bottom fan leaves that weren't getting light. 3.13.2024: Day 54 from seed. Plant is doing its thing. 3.14.2024: Day 55. Fed again at 1/4 strength, 96oz at 6.6ph. Runoff ppm was 880. 3.15.2024: Day 56 from seed, 52 from sprout.

She is growing vigorous every day. Seems like she has new growth. Super stoked to see how she turns out first time using Athena.🤞🤞🤞🔥💯

Ok guys was down with a bug, hope to be getting over it barring some weird turn. 4/5 Pics of all Ok this is what we have to work with on this grow, one looks perfect, another a bit light, one super small from a small seed, and the twin. Ahh not what we had in mind but its enough 😎 Going to have reevaluate the seed situation as using more than had planned, looks like it will take a planned 6 seeds to make a good grow. Please no more seed give-aways it really effects the quality. 4/6 Excuse my aggravation, lot going on but still... Ok have two possible failures here. Mary may be genetically faulty as well as it remains small as crap. Doubt if she makes much of anything but am more than willing to be wrong as hell but dont think so. Sally... well Sally has split personality, think we will snip the small twin it has no growth tip. Really needed four good plants dang it. Increased nuets slightly 4/7 Two feedings with Recharge just to try and get some life into these girls. Not going on the list just a try to kick start some enzymes. Mary is worrisome and I may turn Sally over to my wife she is pretty good with these odd birds. We decided to let the small thing stay dont want to cause any rotting in the medium. Re-eval later Athena and Baba doing ok Seeing some results from the Recharge Vid 4/8 Good results on the Recharge with Athena, Baba, and Sally but Mary continues to be a project. She will be getting only H2O2 and water every other feeding (once a day) to try and get her going. Its the end of my tool kit so hope it works. We will be popping another seed on 4/20, the Fast Buds 20-1 CBD under my wife's diary, HisHope. She will be doing that one entirely by her hand and she has learned a LOT. So looking to be able to sit back and watch her for a while 😎 4/9 The two large girls are doing fine. Baba is Beautiful I have seen these light leaves, Sally and Athena, on LSD-25 in the past. As long as they are growing well there is no issue. Not a good sign nor is it really bad either Mary is on her own feed, propping her up with H2O2 and begun light feeding again at every irrigation. No idea what to do next, did not respond to recharge, and kangaroots did not seem to help so I am down to H2O2 4/10 Sally's Twin has a growth tip so we will have to expect to deal with it as things grow. Mary is responding so the little project may make it after all. Three bigger girls looking good! 4/11 The bigger girls are into their first growth spurt so everyone got a big dose of FishSh!T to get this party started. Athena and Baba go back and forth as largest, think Athena may take that race we will see. I am going to have to drop Mary from the grow, she is alive and improving but lets be honest... little if any production and focus needs to stay on the healthy plants. Letting my wife see what she can do, leave her as a project.

Zkitzz Auto has impressed me. Massive chucks of solid dense bud rich in trichomes. Coke can size main colas and all side branches not far behind in size.. brilliant grow of top quality looking herb.. Can wait for the smoke test.. Happy growing friends 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺

This girl is phat. Real thick stalk and massive leaves. I topped her twice, which I had reservations in doing given her weak start. She bounced back incredibly so she also got some LST to open up the canopy. It's flower time for this lady and I'm excited to see her stretch and fatten up!
