So this final week the buds on this Orange Hill Special are filling out. They are getting rock solid and the calyxes are doing their final swelling. Also, the trichomes have started forming and up close, they are forming a white sticky film over the whole bud. The buds feel heavy and compact, although their size could have been bigger but not complaining with this amount of bud. I have just been feeding some perma tea and clean water since this soil is probably very high in nutes by now. I had some brown leaf points so just adjusted and all was fine. Now we go into the final one or two weeks. I did some final defoliation to expose some underside buds, they are swelling too. Removed some sticky underside larf, kept it in a box to gradually dry for a preliminary taste test coming days. 5/6/25 the trichomes on this plant are spectacular and special. The cameras not picking it up very well but they shine so freaking bright. brighter than other strains. She also has a very unique smell. The breeder mentioned that thesr equatorial photo periods that show autoflower traits have a unique high as well and i wonder if thats due to the unique smell/ terpenes shes

Candy candy. One has a very strong cherry nose from the cherry pie cross. The sister has a more runts nose on it and sweet. Some cherry The Wolf is giving a Chem smell. Items my nose like mint menthol. Vix or something. I like it!!

This week, we’ve been monitoring the progress of the Dr. Grinsboon cannabis seeds from High Giraffe Seeds. The seeds have shown consistent germination rates and robust growth so far. The plants are developing strong root systems and vibrant green foliage. We will continue to observe their growth and provide updates next week.

Day 64 (First Grow, Flowering Phase): Hey everyone! We’re on day 64, and the flowering phase is in full swing. The buds are forming beautifully, and the plants have grown 5-10 cm above the SCROG net, creating a lush canopy. The humidity is steady at around 50% or lower, which is ideal for this stage. To recap, we've been maintaining an even canopy with the SCROG net and our Timor shield mantis continues to keep pests at bay naturally. Our plants are thriving, thanks to the even light distribution and careful humidity control. We're considering installing a second fan in a few weeks to improve airflow and potentially adding a second SCROG net to support the plants as they continue to stretch during flowering. This should help stabilize the plants and ensure they get the support they need as the buds get heavier. Any tips or advice for the next steps? Let us know in the comments!

The girls are coming out of their second topping very well. I will increase their fertilizer going forward as they are taking their current level with flying colors. I was very careful with the identification of my seeds through planting, and yet I am concerned a couple may be mislabeled. I will continue the investigation. lol

I've figured out my lights have been up a bit high, and the plants didn't seem to like it. They've been turned down the past week and all of the plants have responded well. The Bruce Banner stacked A LOT in the 4 inches because of the lights, so I clipped a few leafs to get some light to some of the under branches. Hopefully I can make use of them and they'll grow up quick.
