Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. On the final few days of a 10 day flush. Will be chopping down this week to harvest and hang dry. Really excited to try this one. The smells in the room are unreal.

Week 10 of flower, looking to chop next week. The trichomes are about 70/30 cloudy/amber. Doing a few days of darkness and really cold night temps to hopefully push out the colors and resin production here towards the end.

Environmental Conditions: Keeping Things Balanced This week has been about maintaining a steady environment despite the natural slowdown in growth due to cooler temperatures. • Temps: Daytime 18–20°C, nighttime 14–16°C. It’s a bit chillier than usual, but these resilient ladies are adapting beautifully. • Humidity: Stable at 65%, ensuring the girls remain hydrated and comfortable. • Airflow: Gentle but constant to keep the space fresh and prevent any stagnant air pockets. Each girl is like an artist’s brushstroke—no two alike. • Praying Posture: Their leaves reach for the skies like they’re soaking up every ounce of light. Still no cloning or flipping to 12/12 yet, as I want them to grow a bit more before making any big moves. Next week, I’ll decide whether to flip them for a brief period to determine sex or wait until cloning is feasible. De esta semana destacaré el cambio de luminaria, los Cob por el ATS Pro 300W. al 75% que vendrian a ser 225W. áprox. Algo menos de W de lo que estaban pero al tratarse de una nueva luminaria con más umoles no creo que se me estresen mucho. Más adelante cuando ya estén floreciendo subiré al 100% 300W. Riego cada 3 dias , a final de semana 900ml / planta. Último dia de la quinta semana poda de bajos , añadido unos tutores y el esperado 😜CAMBIO DE FOTOPERIODO a 12/12h. 🙏

Well I having been laggin with update but I think am up to speed now...well u kno the fitess of the fitess must survive....still been having so water lag issue with the older one so finally decided to change the pot but she still managed that bit of stress good well see what happens in the rest weeks to come.....the other two are 6 weeks this week ...the one that got hst not by choice the crown is barely hanging on have some tape holding it managed to push a seed....this strain seem to be very resilient.....look at dem resin and this is jus the 2nd week of flower....until next time happy growing

Die Pflanzen entwickeln sich gut. Bis auf die Mimosa Gusher. Sie scheint sehr gestresst auf die 13/11 Beleuchtung zu reagieren. Aufgrund dessen ich die Beleuchtungsdauer auf 12:30/11:30 reduziert habe.

This marks the start of week 4 for these wonderful lady's . I'm going to be slowing up on the nutrients and the watering noticing some stuff I don't like seeing . For the growth difference in 1 week all I can say is WOW I'm getting very excited to see what the future holds for these young lady's !!! I'd like to thank every one for their continued support! I've learned so much in such a short amount of time because the community is KICK ASS . I'm going to be repotting these fine young lady's into their final homes at the end of this week! The first pistils appeared a little earlier then expected, but it has be developing very well. I’m excited! I believe the growth is going well. I’m very happy and excited!

*LOS FERTILIZANTES SON HACIA LAS OTRAS PLANTAS NO TERMINADAS NO LA QUE SE CORTO ESA SOLO AGUA* *reemplazo bio bloom por monster bloom como los dos son PK la planta se sobrefertiliza* semana 10 y se va de corte la primera contento de terminar mi primer diario entero en esta plataforma cogollos llenos de resina muy contento con la producción en 68 días desde germinación *la planta en total creo un poco menos que el doble de lo que se corto pero fui sacándoselo de a poco antes* ahora solo queda esperar secar y las otras que vienen en camino 70.85 gramos en humedo contando tallos y una hoja de viento por rama espero marcar unos 15 en solo cogollos y ya secos LST en las dos ramas principales de una de las que viene siguiente muy compacta en lo personal me gustan los cogollos con casi nada de hoja (de esto dependerá cuanto raspe en la garganta) por lo que el humo entra sin dejar ninguna molestia muy suave y sativo

Welcome growers We are over a month from the start with this two BLUEBERRY CHEESECAKE 🍰 The state of health is more or less the same for both, happy, with an excellent green color ⬆️ But from now on something changes, because I intend to cultivate them in two different ways Lights, nutrients and the whole environment will always be the same until the end, but, as you have probably seen in the video, at this moment one has kept the original structure and instead, with the other specimen, I have started to manipolated structure for try to maintaine all the branches approx at the same height 🌿🌿🌿 In this case topping plus a little lst (only on central stem) I only did it on one of them simply because, the larger one has more vigorous lower branches and seems more predisposed to it. I have also cut two or three leafs, not too much for now, just for increase the airflow and also again for a higher lights exposure of the lowers parts✂️ 🍃 About the lights 💡 Doing that, i have increase the potency of my two Mars-Hydro SP3000, from 25% to 50% ⬆️ The two led panel are connected with a cable and i have only to adjuste the dimmer of one of them for change the intensity of each one, in just one move.. Pretty useful 💯 In the middle of the week i have switch from 18/6 on/off to 16/8 on/off.. Always tryed to mimic the natural cycle of the sun light, works good to me 👌 Anyway.. About nutrients 👇 In this week i have giving their always organic/veganic nutrients.. Updating two days early but wicked happy with the progress so far. Starting to understand the strain and what it likes to be fed so just trying to adapt to it and really lock in on a smooth feeding schedule. Have been against pruning in the past but couldn't resist attempting "Nebulas Manifold" and finally topped after the 6th node finally developed this morning. Topped on the 3rd node with leaving a stump for connection and trimmed the remaining nodes below. Was pretty surprised at how much they were reaching when I check in on them tonight but happy to see they're still crankin. Time to wait for the 4th node and top again.
