Both plants have almost stopped growing in heigth now and are in full flowering mode now. Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barbara Bud) Plant #1 is 15 cm shorter than plant #2, but a little bushier. Both have grown very well and are strong and healthy. They get more and more flower clusters now and start to fill up all branches. Trichomes start to appear all over...the plants start to get sticky and develop a weak sweet aroma now. Its time to take off the biggest fan leaves now for defoliation, I took a round of pics before and after.

Incredible strong smell of melon, citrus , wood, earthy, it's wonderful!😁 She has no problems at all, the buds look thicker this week. Trichomes are milky white and translucent with some trichomes starting to have honey like head appearance. Not ready yet I will give her more time.💪👍

Today 7/30/19, day 57 and the start of week 9. I'm still continuing to alternate between days with my pesticide treatment (especially after finding that bug living on one of hulkberries fan leaf) and thrive alive green daily foliage spray as a prophylactic solution against any possible pests or mold going into these last few dog days of veg. I will flush them with distilled ph'd water for two days this weekend in preparation for flower. Then I'll start them on some "flower fuel" bloom booster on top of my secret for success flower recipe at 1/4 of the recommended strength. Outside of that still no adverse issue to report for the end of the 8th week. After my last trim, they both have responded very nicely, I was kind of worried about fat banana stalled growth. But one thing I noticed when I topped her at the 6th node, yes the main stem stopped growing but it developed many bud sites up and down every stem. Whereas hulkberry was topped at the 8th node, she has mainly focused on developing long stems and only 2 or 3 bud sites along her stems. Even though hulkberry in structure, is much bigger than fat banana and has a way bigger root system. Fat banana is bushier and has developed way more bud sites than hulkberry. I can't tell which strain will yield the most at this point only time will tell! Also, a big shout out to "J"@RQS, thank you for the excellent customer service. Another reason why Royal Queen Seeds is top 3 in breeding!!

No problems this week, succeeded in restraining myself with the water input, and they really liked that, sadly leaves damages done 2 weeks ago due to over watering is showing spots and looks like it will turn necrotic soon, but new growth are undamaged and seems to support a good growth so far. I make sure she is not receiving too intense light radiation and fed a light feed of old timer grow and some Epsom salt. From the beginning of flowering she has developed light pink coloured trichomes, and now you can see them more and more , so pretty with flash on in the dark, Misty G shinning with pink hues, lovely!

Hey everyone! Do-Si-Dos ladies are growing inside the grow tent now and under a 250w HID, which is a HPS since my MH bulb burnt. They are growing very strongly, fast and healthy. With a decent thick stock for their age I believe. This genetics are very strong, so far no problems, no stunt growth. Made a 4-way topping, where you must leave 2 nodes only. The plant had around 6 nodes before topped. Will start LST on branches and shape them for the scrog I might apply later. They leave a sweet smell scent in the air. Roots are also growing pretty fast. Germination started on 4/2 and they finally sprouted out the dirt on 4/12. I'll update this every Tuesday. Obviously going to be a long one but hopefully yall follow every step! Hey Growmies! I'm thrilled to share my latest project: two exceptional grow environments, each a lush green haven with 9 plants on plant rollers. We’re employing a blend of Scrog (Screen of Green) and Sog (Sea of Green) techniques. Each plant has its individual ScroG, directly connected to its air-pot, facilitating easy mobility and care within the tent. As the Room is on the cooler side at the moment, I've set up a Solea infrared heater, controlled by an Inkbird ITC-308 temperature controller, to maintain a cozy climate. Each tent is also equipped with a Spider Farmer Cool Mist humidifier for perfect humidity levels. Initially, I planned for identical setups in both tents, but adaptation is crucial. I encountered a challenge with the UR45 lights due to their single plug and UV/IR switches. To overcome this, in Tent 1, I’ve installed two UR45 lights: one dedicated to IR and the other to UV, each managed by a Meross smart plug. The Mars Hydro app manages the light and in-line fan controls in Tent 2, though it has its limitations. The ITC-308 takes care of the infrared heater, while the humidifier regulates itself. I'm really into this setup, but I'm already thinking about upgrading to a single grow controller for all devices. Excitingly, ‘Epic Buzz’ in Tent 1 is competing in the Tent-X Ultimate Grow Challenge sponsored by Trolmaster, who has also sponsored a Tent X Controller for this tent. This addition will greatly enhance our control and monitoring capabilities in this tent. This grow season is extra thrilling as I’m collaborating with Anesia Seeds and Ganja Farmer Seeds. Las niñas siguen su ciclo de vida. Veo que van muy poco avanzadas para llevar ya dos semanas a 12/12 (no sé si por poca luz o algunos errores que cometí) Le eché el estimulador de floración demasiado tarde por interpretar mal la tabla de nutrición, mejor dicho por no seguir la correcta. Estuvo varios días muy cerca de la luz con lo que se pudieron estresar. Le estoy temiendo a la altura, ya que han estirado más de lo que preví en principio, quedándome muy poco margen de error. A unas malas tendré que ingeniármelas doblándolas hacía abajo o algo. El punto positivo es que estoy controlando mejor la humedad. A pesar de todo seguiré dando lo mejor para que salga lo mejor posible 💪🏼
