Also added some sticky traps, haven’t seen anything, not even a gnat, but can’t be too careful this time of year. I’ve been pushing her nutrients and got close to 1100 ppm, some slight burn at the tips was noticeable, but nothing else. Did some defoliation and the smells are strong! week intel: its time to harvest some of plants the ones that is mature enough. indica dominant plants will done first always so we should harvest them first because my base nutrients and one of boosters was salt based, i'll do flushing this week to get some relieve to plants in the last days stresses : flushing Drought stress via watering only one time with flushing this week feeding: day 1 : i flushed them with Advanced Nutrients Flawless finish and adjusted ph day 3 : no more feeding from now on day 5 : no more feeding from now on guide of the week : i harvest in 2 parts : first i harvest top of the branches and will let the lower buds to ripe another week then ill harvest the second wave. indica dominant plants will get done 1 or 2 weeks sooner than sativa dominant plants that will often takes more than 8 weeks so be aware to harvest them sooner. my dry and cure style is this: 3 days of hanging upside down to get water activity lower to around 0.6 in 50% humidity and 26 C temp (i know its a little high but we are in a hot summer right now and i cant get it lower even with air conditioner) and then after 3 days of drying i remove leaves and stalks, trim buds and move them to jar for the rest of their life :D . and in the first 4 days of curing i open the jar door and let hem get some fresh air in the jar for about 5 minutes and close the jar door again, after 4 days of curing like that buds are smokable but they will get better as they getting cured about 1 month. im happy as hell with this harvest :D.

This week didn't start very well as while trying to apply LST to one of the two branches I broke it. ❌ Luckily the plant recovered quickly and therefore I was able to proceed with the second topping to continue the mainlining technique. ✔️ The plant is a little asymmetrical, but I will try to adjust it in the next weeks of vegetative growth. 🔍 I slightly increased the nutrients. 🔝

Feeding was through water , with the exception of barrier as dosed as spray as flowering hasnt boomed yet and the auto one one is quite coordinated on time with this ones on the bright side. Controlled height through intention is more for damage control became a closer purpose like scrog net and clips to give branch directions easier, that use make me now that understand how optimize better with them at future , and truly purposed as getting all the ladies good illuminated : how much good are really doing the side lights , as the net itself marks the lack of penetration of the top lights my niggas. :)

Day 77-84 (April 17th-24th) (Day 78) I honestly cant believe I’ve been vegging this long. The growth for almost 80 days of veg is laughable. I’ve compiled a little list of what has gone wrong so far. - I added too much glacial moraine which made the soil too water retentive - I’ve been foliar feeding too much kelp - I gave too many bloom nutrients for a plant in veg - EDIT: DID NOT WATER ENOUGH AT ONCE The plants have been drooping like crazy this past week and I’m going to try watering in a full gallon per plant. I first thought it was from the medium not drying out enough, soil compaction ect. and I’m sure those are definitely areas where my soil mix could improve but the bottom of the container is pretty damn dry. I could actually be under watering despite soaking the top with 500ml a day. I’m going to sit the pots on some plastic sheeting so they don’t evaporate as much from the bottom and water in a full gallon each making sure I get some runoff. I was going to wait until I get my air pump but fuck it, it’s coming tomorrow afternoon. The pots are so big that they’re not fully wetting to the bottom even with a gallon. I’m going to try to water in a gallon every 4 days while keeping the top soil moist with the sprayer. In hindsight 6 plants in 5-7 gallon pots would be the most ideal. (Day 79) Holy fuck did a full gallon watering make a difference. I should have been doing this the whole time. All 4 plants are praying and stretching upward like crazy. They just look more vigorous and happy within a day. I bet they will be even happier with that supplemental air. If things stay this smooth I should be able to flip around day 84, possibly earlier. Got my air pump in the mail today. This is kind of a shot in the dark so hopefully it works. It’s super loud and vibrates like crazy. First I’m going to try running it 24/7 and see if there is any improvement over the next few days. If it does work, I’ll try running it on my humidity controller so it’s not constantly humming and will only turn on when the humidity is high. I’m going to turn the night time temps down to 70f to prevent root problems now that I’m watering much bigger amounts less frequently and it’s getting warmer during the day. (Day 81/Day 1F) Ever since I’ve been watering in the proper amounts I have seen an absolute explosion in growth. I’ve decided to flip today, now that I’m confident my soil mix isn’t completely fucked. I might run into some N/mg problems during the stretch so I will make sure to give a final foliar feeding around the end of week 1. (Day 3F) So I’m literally seeing dwc growth rates now. Plants have grown more in the last 5 days than the last 3 weeks. If I had stayed at this pace of growth since day 1, I would have an 8 foot tall plant or I would be halfway through flower already. Oh well. Good learning experience. *grits teeth* I’m going to put up the second layer of trellis before these girls stretch out of control. Bbb#3 is seriously stretchy and will likely more than double in size in the next 2 weeks. The other 4 are all quite stout and bushy. I’m giving a light, preemptive defoliation each day and picking off some of the lower sucker branches. I will do a full strip around day 21F.

Final steps for harvest , trichoms are awesome and the smell incredible, only few days left and everything is prepared for a perfect cure

I started the week by selecting the 3 best plants to put them into their final 26l pots with some Dynomyco. I made the selection based on their sizes, shapes and roots. I increased the light output from 25% to 50% and started the week with 23h of light per day. After a few days I noticed what I think are light burns on every plants so I reduced the number of hours/day to 18h and it seems ok now. I checked the pH, not optimum but alright for soil and I always have this 7.0 with this soil and this pH meter (don't know if it works properly or not because it's always 7.0 in this soil, never 7.1 or 6.9). The 3 plants grew a lot this week, it's one of my best growth rate so far so I'm very happy 😁 The Wedding Cheesecake is by far above the two others, it already developped 5 nodes so I topped it (first time it happens to me that soon). As usual with this soil, I think they have a bit of nitrogen toxicity but nothing critical. Plants heights at the end of the week : ------------------------------------------- Gorilla Cookies : 18.5cm Purple Lemonade : 15cm Wedding Cheesecake : 22cm

Day 90 / FL 15, Gave the GDP a heavy defoliation to help open up bud sites. Plant still has not stretched too much since flower flip. I either stressed her out to much or this is the characteristics of this pheno. Regardless I should have some nice bud in the end, just not a good yeild. Day 93 / FL 18, Plant has recovered very nice after heavy defoliation. Plant is still very short. Day 96 / FL 21, Added a 3/4 inch layer of living soil to add a little bit of extra nutrients. Waiting until week 5 of flower to add Gaia Green dry amendments to take me to the end.

Easy grow and the overall quality is great. I feel like I definitely could yield way more if I did way more training. If included trim and shake, this planted yield 2 ozs which isn’t bad for sharing space with 3 other plants in a 2x2 space. I have a few more seeds of this strain and will be growing them again definitely. I’ll catch yall on the next one ☝️🏾
