Her flowers are continuing to bulk up and are covered in glistening trichomes. She appears to be starting to fade which is exactly what I'm hoping to see, meaning that she's just about used up the nutrients in her medium. I watered today with 1.5g of de-chlorinated water which was then ph'd to 6.6 @ 72℉ turned her pot and shot a few pictures of her. 10/6- Today I watered her with 1.5g of her usual straight de-chlorinated water that's ph'd to 6.5 @ 72℉ and turned her pot. She's definitely starting to fade, is still stacking her flowers, bulking up and has an incredible amount of trichomes which I'm beginning to monitor daily. 10/8- The routine of watering every other day continues like clockwork. Yesterday was a 'no water' day and I did a basic check over of the plant, removed a couple of yellowed lower leaves and turned her pot. Today she got the usual 1.5g of straight de-chlorinated water that's ph'd to 6.5 @ 72℉ and had her pot turned. I've also begun to check her trichome development with a digital USB microscope to try to identify the ideal harvest time which will be in the next 12 days +/-. 10/10- Well, Week Eight of flower has come, gone and has been a trial once again of my patience! She's so freaking frosty that I've wanted to chop her several times but, I know from experience, good things come to those who wait... then wait a bit more. Her fade is in full swing now and I anticipate that she'll be ready by the end of this coming week... I can't wait! I've cut the wattage back on the HLG 650R to 500w at the wall now to simulate the way that sunshine becomes weaker as fall approaches due to the lower angle of the sun in the sky. This helps outdoor plants to know that winters on the way and they need to hurry up and complete their life cycle. Cutting the wattage back creates the same effect on the indoor plants, especially when coupled with lowered temperatures in the tent. I have also noticed that her water uptake has slowed. After her heavy watering on the 8th, her pot still had some weight to it and she was looking great so I went ahead and skipped watering her today, watering her tomorrow at lights on with her usual. This plant literally outgrew a 4 by 4 at 87 inches tall I had the light at the top and quickly realized I had to toss her in the greenhouse about halfway through her life. Super happy with the size of it 43 inches tall exactly. Not sure if shes gonna stretch more but lmao the biggest auto I've ever grow. Mad respect to ILGM genetics right now. This grow is going to be testing my coco based auto watering setup. The plants will eventually be going into 2.5 gallon airpots which I cut to be very tall and narrow which I hope will give great performance for this grow style. Nutrient solution will be pumped from a 5 gallon bucket to halo-style drip emitters 6 times a day for 5-10 second intervals. I am going to try to use inline flow control knobs to dial in the watering and allow for slight runoff every fertigation. For lighting I am using my HLG 100 watt lights, one per plant. I am a big fan of these quantum boards, they have given great performance in the past! Thanks for reading! 🌱👍 May 13 day 1: the Blackberry breached after germinating in a rapid rooter for 2 days. I am impressed with how quickly this seed popped! It had no issues with stuck seed casings, which I find is the main downside of germinating in rapid rooters. I am excited about this one! May 16 day 3: Auto watering drip emitters are set up, and I am testing them to dial in the amount of runoff it produces. I also planted the seedlings/rapid rooters into 1 litre grow bags and began feeding nutrients. They are still under the humidity dome for now for the time being and seem to be doing well. Day 4: seedlings doing well, they are staying under the dome untill they grow their next set of leaves, then I will take them out and run a humidifier.

Wow love this strain, second grow of it and we should have flipped at 24 inches as stretch is only a bit over 100% and they could have used a few inches. Great colors as she finished buds as hard as rocks even before the dry. Very Frosty though not as much as the FF-11. Expect we will be pleased after dry given how dense those buds are, will watch close in dry. Strong easy grow folks worth getting

Harvest report for strawberry gorilla. Breaking ground to harvest was 84 days. Wet weight was 241 grams Dry weight =51g Power used for 12 weeks. 246.3Kw used on lighting. £73.89 at £0.30 a Kw Average 2.932 Kw a day =146 Watts power an hour during lights on. Dry weight from this grow. #1 49g #2 37g #3 46g #4 39g #5 51g #6 52g Total 273g True g/W = 273÷146=1.87g/W This was one great grow and there are a few strains I'm really considering running again straight away. I have run this strain twice now and will do again in the future. She has grown decent solid buds absolutely coated in trichomes. One thing I have learnt during this grow is that the idea of cramming 9 autos into my tent was a stupid idea and trialling it with 6 plants was wise.

So we've hit day 49 with the girls! Everyone seems to be happy. The 2 little runts are now the biggest in the crop, they're super stretchy and about a week behind in flowering. I hope to be able to harvest all the plants at once as I plan to dry in my tent, but if I have to do a staggered harvest then, I guess I gotta do it. Nutes are listed above, everything has been working excellent so far. (I may be trying different coco nutes next run, as I'm suspecting the H&G set I'm using has contributed to the stretchiness of the girls.) UPDATE - DAY 51 - 09/01/21 Everything seems to be just fine at this stage in time. the runts are flowering slowly, so i hope they pick up sometime soon. 1 of the plants(the healthiest since day 1) seems to be a week or so ahead in flower. I'm still hoping to chop the whole tent down at the same time (Fingers crossed!). UPDATE - Day 53 - 11/01/21 The girls seem to be happy today. Pheno type 1 ( plant 1 + 2) - Much more bud production than the rest of the plants. pheno type 2 (plant 3 + 4) - runts of the litter are now the stretchiest out of the lot Pheno type 3 (remainder of plants) are inbetween pheno 1 & 2. 5th week of flower, the plant has stopped growing and focused on the buds. Both plants look nice, I’m hoping the 3 gallon plant gets fatter before the end though.

Day 56 - She grew 6cm this week. Not a lot... but she continues to grow well. Day 56 - Tent configuration changed: 4x more CREE CXB3590's have been added and 4x blurple LED things removed. Lights now consist of 8x CXB3590's & 1x 1000W HID with flower bulb.

I'm regretting not removing all of the vertical growing nodes on the mainline now as it's a bit messy and some of the lower budsites won't get enough direct light to produce decent buds. At the time I was very cautious about removing any growth at all as I was worried I would further shock the plant! Seems okay now anyway, and I think it's pretty funny that I managed to turn a fastberry into a slowberry.. How long do we think until harvest now? Peace Donny
