Another great week of bud growth and terpenes production. Think I'll be finished half was through week 9, or at the end of week 9. So far no signs of any hermaphrodite traits. Wish I started flower with a little less light intensity, as I feel that's caused the buds near the top to slightly fox tail, as the ones lower down look abit of a better shape, although smaller.

Another great week for the Apple Betty girls. I have not seen a single deficiency, other than the odd yellowed or withered leaf under the canopy, typically due to lack of light. I will come through soon and do a defoliation of both tents to allow for more light to penetrate, and perhaps get a good push for some girthy colas 😋. I have lowered the temps a bit in the tents by controlling my lung room temps, and they are maxing out at 77 degrees and hitting a night time cool of about 70. I have also lowered the humidity to hover between 47 and 52 %. Hopefully will start to get some nice colours as they finish. As I mentioned before, when I water is when I like to get under the canopy and check the stems and leaves for anything that shouldn’t be… and typically once a week after watering I’ll wipe down the tent and sanitize any surface I can. There is no reason to get lazy, that’s how you get Pests, Mold, and PM. Happy Gardening 🇨🇦👊❤️

About day 38 i am just realizing that i am stupid and been feeding the biogrow for cocoa coir 🤦‍♂️ way iver nuting with soil it says never to go over 1ml/L So i will be flushing for at least 1 or two waterings. Looking for the tip burn to stop spreading and the tips to not look like there clawing

Well global hysteria had me lose my job and computer but kept the growing up and made some trades while demand is high and am back here about to go into week seven. The Orange Blossom Fizz is really plumping up and is triched out. Seems like its still got at least a week and a half to go till flushing. It is really full of stacks but haven't seen much color coming in yet but it'll show more at the flush. I stripped a bunch of leaves at the actual week six about a week ago to make sure all the lowers are getting some. The video shows some full shots of the whole plant trained wide and low. Really liking this strain, last round was great and had solid nugs and great purps. The Krishna Kush is much closer to finish and I'll probably start flushing soon, like halfway through week 7. Its usually about 56-60 day for the chop. This is my pheno 1 and has a real crown shaped small nug structure from its landrace lavender background, but they're nice and frosty. Def a heavy feeder and did get quite a deficiency in the last few weeks here in the spots closer to the light. Couldn't up the nutes too much cause its sharing a res with the OBF, which is already getting nute burn a bit. Nute wise I cut out the Bud Candy and Grow at week six and switched from Liquid Kool Bloom to Beastie Bloom dry powder for this week's res. The next one I'll switch to some Dry Kool Bloom for 4 days to start the finishing before the flush. Try and keep this updated till the finish now.

My 4 plants are still there, with the banana as a smile 🍌😁 I continue the defoliation, I wonder if I'm not doing a little too much sometimes.. We will soon see the result 🌗Switching to flowering this week, I reduced the length of the day by 1 hour each day until reaching 12 hours night time / 12 hours daylight on the 33rd day!🌞 🌺On the 33rd day I apply a layer of organic nutrients mixed with a little soil that I add to the top of each pot. Harvest came quicker than i thought it would. Taken awhile to update as I've had a few smokes to test after a heavy harvest so sorry about that. Pretty easy one to grow overall, didn't give this grow my full 100% as had a lot going on in my personal life but back to it now! Beautiful looking girl.. She had a 14 day flush as usual!

Week 4 update - had to list it as a flower week as we flipped em half way through. Exotic wasn’t lying - the spicy bitches hit maturity rather quickly and we now have a guaranteed 2 males and 3 females - perfect ratio score👌👍. Balls started showing in a span of 12-36 hours. One of the females entered flower early so she may be a dud, an auto or just stressed for some unusual reason. We’ll probably either separate er or let it grow with the rest and pitch it. Won’t be using that seed knowing that underlying issue. Similarly, one of the males has also demonstrated some fan leaf mutation - I actually like this kind of variation and it makes things interesting so bonus there👍. The rest of em are doing just fine. So god damned nice to have a run that’s on a quick schedule to finish within 3 months. It’s been a long year for the pollen chuck and we’re really looking forward to the upcoming all fem. Run. For now though - conditions look ripe for a bunch of awesome crosses, any one of which could be pure 🔥. Till next week yall🤟. Our previous pollen picks didn’t pan out at all so we’re back to the drawing board with a new option from ExoticSeeds. This’ll be a 10 plant run with 5 regs and 6 strains for pollination including the strain itself. We’re running in a 2x4 MarsHydro grow tent all powered by a Mars Sp6500. That’s a little more than 600w packed into half the recommended footprint😳. Why? you ask - because we like our buds big and overcompensatory😂. Really, I’m just of the mind that we can pack more light into this space than recommended and get much better results. The math doesn’t lie. In addition, we’ve also moved to a new nutrient system - Druid Nutrients out of the Netherlands. They don’t really have a presence on GD yet but you’ll be hearing about them very soon I’m sure. The beauty of this system is that it’s literally a 1 (one) component system for the entirety of the plants grow cycle. It really has changed the game in terms of ease of feeding and maintenance. It’s also very versatile and seems to provide everything needed across multiple different strains in the same ratios. Keep your eyes peeled for these folks. Pretty much a guarantee that they absolutely blow up once more people know about them👍👌😎. Strain Background Spicy Bitch: predominantly sativa, heavy yielder with a daytime kinda trip profile. It’s a cross of Queen Mother and a Pre-2000 AK47. We’ll pull what pollen we can and hope to have a female run out a larger supply of seed for the future. It’s a compact and squat plant requiring very little maintenance. Typical for the strain really. It’s been chosen as an option to potentially mellow out the high , shorten the stature of the resulting hybrid and inject it with some of that mellow indica effect. Boogie Nights - total shot in the dark. Still haven’t even tried the strain myself yet but it was available at the right time and interesting enough to make a salad with. Big thanks to AMS who’ve been nothing short of an excellent seedbank to collaborate with. Expect similar growth characteristics to that of the Northern Lights. Better resilience however. Blueberry - this particular clone is from extremely strong stock. Spliff seeds broke the mold with this strain. She’s lower maintenance than the NL, more resilient than anything else we’ve got on the menu and the terp. Profile on this girl is out of this world. If we can bring any of these qualities to the cross, then it could be magic👌. White Widow - garrghh, I just can’t get away from this particular plant. Again, still haven’t even tested the buds yet and all I can say is that the growth characteristics are extremely vigorous and desirable. This plant is one of 3 unicorns that I have yet to tame due to a combo of extremely bad luck and circumstance. All told, it’s still the same story: a VERY experimental breeding project designed to shotgun a broad swath of genetics against a reliable and dependable Breeder who’s put out proven fire 🔥🤟😎👍.

Week 5 for GMO8 auto by atlasseed, Shes fairly far into flower now, im glad i pulled her over otherwise she will be very lanky without much side growth. Shes not going to be the biggest plant clearly but if i enjoy her smoke i will definitely be growing her again in a bigger put to see what she can do for me. 😎 Still a cool experiment to do.
