Hey all! Reminder: MIDDLE PLANT IS GSC #1. BOTTOM LEFT PLANT IS GSC #2. (Bottom right is mystery seed, two in the back are FastBuds Gelato - which you can't even see anymore haha. This diary is only focusing on the GSC plants). Wow, the growth has been insane. The girls are touching the edges of the tent, and you can almost get lost telling what's what in this sea of green! The bud sites are definitely showing signs of swelling up. Unfortunately I dealt with some nute burn on both plants, more on one than the other, but I flushed them twice with PH'd water and it seemed to have stopped it spreading. Definitely was feeding too much. Stuck to the dosage guidelines but feel I did not give enough plain water in between nute-water feedings (actually none at all until I flushed them). Man. They are huge plants. Underestimated how big these would actually get! I CANNOT WAIT to start seeing fat buds! As I mentioned before, I have been taking a tolerance break for most of this grow and I will continue to do so until harvest (day 25 of the tolerance break today). Very strong genetics on this one, I would definitely grow it again for those dense buds fully covered in trichomes. Thanks to the FastBuds team for the seeds!

Week 6 for Gelato 41 Besides the sad injury she suffered from her accident (losing a main top branch), shes really starting to take off at a rapid pace wouldn't say its the same plant from the week before. Shes definitely a bushy girl, the bottom branches have fully caught up to the tops. Going to start training her a bit size ways now as she clearly favours getting bushier. Also gave her some outdoor sun for 3 days in a row as we had some cloudy days to start hardening off her leaves, but not fully transitioning fully outdoors just yet.

So far so good, happy that this one free seed from Barney’s germinated. Read some nice things about the plant and am super excited to try my DIY DWC.

Day 22. Heavy training in time lapse of two days will happen. Some girls are shooting 6th node and its time for heavy training, but ... pots are heavy and i have to wait till plants will be more flimsy, not so crunchy and fragile , need 20-30 hours till i get there. Will update after most work is done. Still no feed. Day 23. 6 girls got topped, decided to go lazy way and just simply bend them a bit, tuck them, top them a bit and bush out by week 8 for nice flowers. Tomorrow last pure water, next watering , think last day of week, will be BioBizz week 3 schedule , but i will use Root Juice a bit longer than advised, i just don't start so early most of the time. Runtz are very strong, Asias has fattest leaves and even Dreams starts to look funky. Day 24. Daft Punks aaaaaaaaa, what have you done ?????? So f@cking SAD !!!!! On other side girls fly, can't add anything else, today last pure water, first feed in 3-4 days !!! Day 26. Size of some leaves amazing, whenever you tuck them - they return and cast shadows ... All air is on, now still need to dry washing inside to keep RH in high 70s .. Tomorrow heavy training !!! Day 27. Heavy training, last pure water. All four smallest plants got theirs toping too. Couple leaves here and there, but mostly tucking and exposing for all plants and that's all training for now . Next week feed and maybe light defoliation. Happy Growing !!!

GOT A SAMPLE LAST YEAR AND ITS SO GOOD I BOUGHT MORE. ITS A 2 PART POWDER NUTRIENT THAT DISSOLVES IN MINUTES AND YOU MIX THE SAME STRENGTH OF THE 2 PART NUTRIENTS FROM WEEK 2 UNTIL THEY ARE FINISHED (BESIDES THE FLUSH), NO MORE BULLSHIT OF SWITCHING TO BLOOM FERTILIZER. Everything has been going great so far only a few more weeks to go on some of these girls - the clones are in week 3 of flowering as well so they’ll not be far behind. Clones are looking beautiful as well happy with this run of they fill out a bit more before chopping 👌🏻🔥

This fine lady is really starting to add some nice colours due to some cold temps in our neck of the woods. She has a ton of trichomes development now! I am really impressed with the look of the buds. They aren’t all full of leaves which should make trimming her a pleasure. 😎 She has really been fattening up this week. I am guessing she needs another week or so to finish up. Her colouring should be quite something once she is done. 🤩 I am still having the odd spot of powdery mildew pop up but nothing too serious. I have been treating it with greencure every 3-4 days and it’s keeping it under control. I haven’t found any affecting the buds yet which is a win! This is the reason a good effective regimen of treating plants for pest and mould/mildew is an outdoor growing must!! I have yet to lose a plant to mould or peat so I swear by it. I’ve seen a bunch of my associates with some powdery mildew beast. Such a shame to see😱 Stay tuned for the final week 😎🍿

Another pretty solid week in the books on these girls. I did have my first real issue though and totally my fault. I have been topping with a mix of nutrients and just plain RO water and have not been adding in my calmag to the RO water and a few leaves showed some signs of deficiencies but I think I have corrected the issue pretty quickly. I may be adding a second trellis because these girls are growing like crazy, I am very glad I put the net up when I did, spreading these girls out and providing some support seems like it was 100% needed. I am still learning and figuring out what and when to defoliate and remove some things. I did a bit of defoliation on Friday and tried to clean up the bottoms of these girls a bit under the net. I know I am going to need another round of that, but I will give them a few more days to recover. I am still keeping the nutrient strength relatively low and seems to be working out just fine. My environment, temps, rh, and water temps are all staying in pretty ideal conditions. Grow seems to be going well, just need more experience and practice with training and defoliation, but its been a blast! As always, any tips, comments, and recommendations always welcomed and appreciated! Thanks!👊👊

The plant was harvested on day 67 of flower and is now hanging up to dry. I've got the drying environment set at around 58-60% humidity with a temperature range of 15-19°C. Hoping for a nice slow dry to preserve those terps! 👃💨 Will update once it's ready for the next step. Stay tuned! 🚀
