Opium week 16 7/22-28 This week has been rainy so the outside girls only got watered and fed once. with all the rain we've had, all the girls grew a bit. I top dressed all girls with Bloomin Soil from Elm Dirt. Photo Opium is now 75 inches and stacking nicely. Happy girl means happy mom.

Things are getting frosty around here! Critical Cures are at the top of the class. Critical Mass is in second. Charlotte's Angels are in third. Durga Mata is in fourth, with Blue Shark rounding out the pack as far as blooms are concerned, and how far along they are. This week I used the last of my "Tiger Bloom" and "Big Bloom" and I didn't feel like buying more, so I started making compost tea! It comes from my pile that consists of kitchen scraps, horse, chicken and sheep manure. They seem to be liking it. I also gave them a little nitrogen foliar spray this morning. I've had to spray insecticidal soap twice this week. Smells so fragrant out there, it's attracting a lot of bugs. I sent a pic of one of the Critical Cure's to a friend of mine saying "Not long now!" (As in like 3-4 weeks on this particular plant) to which he replied: "You've still got 6-7 weeks!" No, just no. Same guy also told me my plants would be 8 ft high. Ha! Silly boys.

Noticed the seedlings starting to get light green and we started peeing the forever homes that day. We placed soil 5gallon pots in the tent with plants to insure a smooth transition as those roots burst thru the decomposing pots. They got placed in pots Sunday and on full veg nut schedule... by Tuesday..... They we’re thriving! Very satisfied this week!

I added a dehumidifier towards the end of this week to reduce the RH, but the thing i didn't realise was there were some red and yellow led's on the dehumidifier, one displaying RH and another for the power. I didn't cover up either through the dark periods and i just hope this past few days with them on doesn't affect my final yield 😣 Looking at the trichomes am i correct to start flushing now? let me know what y'all think!!

February 20, 2019 update: Pretty much just waiting to be ready for harvest. Everything is moving along nicely at this point. Planning on feeding until the end of February, then starting a 2 week flush with most of the plants going in the flower room now, but I may let the Cookies & Cream go a little longer. Fed MegaCrop, Cal+Mag Pro and Mammoth P this week. I've used up the last of my Mammoth P at this point. It will be MegaCrop & Cal+Mag Pro only until flush. All pics were taken with the lights on. I tried color correcting the best I could, but the pics really don't represent the actual colors very well. Usually I try to get some pics with the lights off also, but I was not able to do that last week. I'll make sure to get some better pics next time. 👍

A big hello to all the cannabis growing gardeners...and all the other visitors that came across my grow journal. Just on harvest day I was summoned on a long quest...around 700 km. will be away for three days. I will update this diary as fast as i"m back. For now just the photos as no time for anything. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now cannabis smell is overpowering in my grow room I can finally write something about Spider Farmers 6-Inch Inline Fan with Smart Controller and Carbon Filter :) As my grow room gets really stinky at times i always invest in a top shelf carbon filter almost twice the size of the one provided by Spider Farmer, to my shock Spider Farmer carbon filter absorbs the smells wonderfully well. No smell leaks and that just when the fan is running at 5 out of 10 levels of output. The smart controller is something completely new to me, and had a lot of fun experimenting with it during the veg and early flower, when the smell began i needed it to run full time at level 4 or 5 to rid the fragnance. All in all the whole combo is a great deal. If you are not as keen on technology the set without the controller is awesome on it's own. But to have some extra options open, the controller at the device throws at you a ton of settings you can use to optemiase you grow enviornment. Hey now, hope everyone has been well. Super excited football season is finally here so things are about to get busy. I went out of town for 4 days and the plants struggled a little bit with the PH getting slightly too high before I returned. I also came back to see that some type of insect was munching away on the lower leaves of this little Sundae Driver, so I sprayed the plant and coco with neem oil, but hopefully they didn't do much damage before I can get them under control I have never experienced insect problems indoors, likely because I grow in Coco and not Soil. However, I left a 5 gallon airpot full of coco from a previous grow outside for a couple weeks by mistake, and pretty sure bugs got into. I won't make that rookie mistake again. Anyways the rest of the ladies are looking pretty good, They are almost getting what I consider a full dose of nutrients, even though it half of the manufacturers recommended dosage. I am feeding all Gen Hydro cal mag, Armor Si, and maxi grow. I also add some food grade hydrogen peroxide to keep the reservoir fresh for around 10 days or so but I clean it once a week. Not sure why GD website doesn't allow me to enter GHE under the old or new name. I did get all the ladies transplanted from solo cups to airpots on day 16, and it took 24 hours or so for them to recover from the transplant and start growing again. I am running 3 of the 3.4 gallon, and 2 of the 5.4 gallon just because that is what I had available. I hopefully top them all sometime this week for the first time, as soon as the roots are a little stronger. I let them grow to 7 nodes or so before I top them and make sure they're growing fast. Hopefully I can still mainline the Sundae Driver, she looks healthy other than those two leaves chomped off. All the plants are on their 5th nodes, except for the Green Crack 2.0 which is only on her 4th node. We got another heat wave coming through my region that I am not too excited about but at least its earlly in the game and I don't need to crank this light up yet. I am only running it at 30% and its putting off plenty to keep these ladies happy. Hoping to get a topping done this week, then another one next week, and be ready to flip to flower by week 7 or so. Just trying to maintain a balance now until they stop drinking so much. #1 looking to be a foxtail style plant where as #2 is looking much more leafy so definitely 2 different phenos here. Starting to get a distinct orange/citrus smell from them :)

I have transplanted these 3 girls into bigger fabric pots after they healed up a few days from topping.They have been doing great in the new pots even though I did lose some roots that grew thru the bottom of the air pots searching for water I didn’t remove 🤦‍♂️.So far so good and looking very healthy developing some colas :)

Smells very fruity and Sweet. Very dense trichomes. Very dark and frosty buds

Overall for now I'm already pretty smashed by the outcome for my first indoor grow attempt so far! 😎

Well hello there 👋 thanks for stopping by and joining this journey of my White Widow grow! 💯 So to begin the week I was thinking....should I screw with this lovely girl or shouldn't I....?!?!?! Weeelllllllllll..... I just could not resist and dove right in lmao!!! Now in the new pictures for the week I really hope I've done my research and try and look for documentation about "LEAF LINING" and I am pretty sure there has been no terminology about it so I'm sure there will be critics and I look forward to your knowledge towards this training method for similarities....💯 MOVING ON 🤦‍♂️ Alright here we go.... so the beginning of the week I measured her at 8inchs. She grew a good 2.5 inches in 5 days so I had to top this girl because of height issues in the tent. I ultimately feel this was the absolute best thing for my height and the plant! 💯 and I 100% do not want to kick her early!!!! Now she's grown an 1inch since topping her 2 days ago and the prizes inside are flourishing and are growing like wild fire 🔥 🔥🔥 What until you see them 🤯 So what I have done to the inside this week is what I like to call "LEAF LINING" I basically pin the shoots created by the fan leaves to the actual fan leaf itself!!!! I know right 🤯 This has proven to be very effective which you can see the length of the shoots themselves. (some are 3.5inchs long) The stock of the fan leaves provide a straight path for growth outward! Its truly fascinating! (PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF THIS HAS TERMINOLOGY OR NOT) Ok so I have introduced a new idea to the grow! Adding a Ring of 4 rows of wire that are attached in a circle to the top of the self-wick pot. I have fastened it using Zip ties as I did for the "LEAF LINING" 👈🤪 This was introduced for when those shoots grow out with the fan leaves as the fan leaf can no longer be of support at some point. Cant wait for that to happen. This is going be a wild ride growmies and growmettes!!!! 2020-10-21 I had so much fun with FREAKSHOW, from Day one they were looking sooooooooo Funny and freaky Plants smelled quite early, in early vgetation they started. with lovely scents They were growing very tall Like 160 cm, and then they developed Buds like Cotton Blooms absloutely Eyecatching ( and the smell!!!!!!) wohoo😱 Plant itself dont needs much, out of good waterings and Love. very less fertiliser I cut 2 clones of her , to have always some " Freakshow" at home.

10/15 This week saw a few snags. Both gorilla zkittlez girls are showing what looks like a Mg def i.e yellowing between veins and green veins themselves. This isn't the first time they've exhibited these symptoms. Currently the heaviest affected leaves are the lowest fan leaves farthest from the light. Aiming to keep it that way. I think it's pH swinging too low. I need to pay more attention to my feeds but sometimes I don't have the time to pH my water as properly as I should. The reason I say it's that and not a deficiency is because they are also showing signs of over feed (yellow leaf tips) only a one half-strength feed did this. There must be plenty of food left in the pot. I'm thinking the flip is gonna come at the end of the week. I'll clean up some lower foliage tomorrow or Sunday and let them grow the rest of the week. 10 weeks seems like a nice round number to me.
