And the first week of flower begins! I started this week off by defoliating any and all large fan leaves blocking lower nodes. Also did a little supercropping on BL to get her to spread just a bit more. I raised the light up to 45cm and this will be the final height. They've been drinking really fast by this point. Definitely going to be very diligent with waterings/feedings until harvest. Cheers all! This is my most painless grow to date, praying for a nice and smooth wrap-up to this cycle as well.

Finally got myself a dehumidifier, now i can controll the humidity in my room because it often went above 60% 🤷‍♂️🏻 Also love how the big northern light is really packing some weight! & the buds on the bottom look as good as the ones more on top!! Can’t wait till i can harvest all of em😁

Weekly half dose of Monkey Juice and pumping full doses of Sticky Bandit Carbohydrates

8/30 - Day 65: All is great. Plant 1 will be harvested very soon, I'm thinking September 6th or 13th... all depends on the trichome development. I have come across a wicked calcium deficiency that I am solving with foiler spray and a little more supplemented in the nute mix, but I don't quite understand what's happening. I will post a question and update with information. I read it takes about a week to fix, so I'm not to worried about it ruining my harvest, it just sucks and I want to fix it. 8/3 - Day 69: Fuck... man... it's CRAZY how much they change overnight at this stage. We are flushing plant 1 (center plant in photos) Sunday, and we will harvest her September 13th, at the latest. I check her trichomes everyday and they are still not milky — so we wait! Colors are beautiful, bright orange and a wonderful violet purple. The sugar is just piling itself on. Smell is average, but if you bump them, or trim a leaf... it gets much, much more potent. The buds are sticky as literal superglue. I cannot wait to smoke. We have been fighting a small CalMag deficiency the past 8 days, but I think we are out of it. Typically takes 6-8 days to see any sort of relief from this, and I haven't seen it spread to a few of the older colas, so that's good! I'll get some more micro shots later this week. Harvest scheduled for September 13th. Flush starts tomorrow - 9/6. Fuck. Yes.

Just watered with water this week. Sometimes I add some Bio-Bizz products but rarely. The plants need trimmed. I am going to wait until next week which will be 21 days from 12/12 to give them a nice trim to open them up for more light and clear the lower growth. Everything is perfect temperature and humidity, light, Co2, air circulation... All on point. 👌

October 19th! This week we got the Diesel Berry Cough into its new home and topped them both! We also started low stress straining the Gorilla Zkittlez. They seem to be responding very well so far! Very healthy plants.

Cherry cola is getting real close! As you can see in my tricomb pictures I got a new toy! You can see some ambers in there and we’re starting to go down on our nutrients with her. She’s gotten chunky and smelly and I’m super stoked to do a smoke review on this one🤤 Gorilla Cookies is starting to chunk up as well! She’s frosting,chunking up and starting to show what seems to be a slight fade. She’s smelling amazing and I’m super stoked to see her put on the weight 💪

Such Bittersweet Joy Added this week as ‘Flowering’ although technically should be harvested as I but I haven’t had a chance to weigh or anything. I will do that next week once trimmed etc. So finally cut them down on D89, it was a beautiful day outside and it just felt right. Although when it came to the deed itself I felt sadder than I thought I would for my girls and the time we had together. All 6 (I’m growing another 3 different strains but not included on this diary) are now hanging to dry in the tent. Temp -18 C; Humidity-60% seems to be holding steady with no tinkering thankfully. After the 3 days they have all dried noticeably, perhaps 4/5 more before trimming / curing. I’ve had quite a close look at most of the harvest and as far as this noob can tell, there doesn’t seem to be any issues with mould / bud rot. Fingers remain crossed. I did have one very profound moment this week... It happened as I was surveying the harvest hanging up for the first time. I could feel my mindset change suddenly from the constant paranoia over their health and overcoming my impatience to “I actually have a crap load of weed”. It was beautiful beautiful moment... The light that came with my 4x4 tent can't even change the light cycle

~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2206 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 12/29- Here we go into Week One of Flower! It's been a month since these pretty ladies popped out of the ground and they're both looking perfect and have pistils popping out everywhere! Their fabric pots were still heavy when lifted, and they looked happy, so I skipped watering today and will check them tomorrow morning after the lights come on. Since being topped roughly a week ago, they have two new shoots that are emerging and looking extremely healthy with excellent vigor and have a beautiful healthy green color! The #1 is now at 9" tall and the #2 a bit shorter at 7". 12/31- Today was a 'dry day and all I did was refill the humidifier and some canopy maintenance, tucking shade leaves and gently bending branches. It's been a little over four weeks since they were planted in their amended medium and it's time to give their microbes a good feed so they can continue to provide them with all the macro and micro nutrients they need so, yesterday they got a good watering with 0.5g of de-chlorinated water with GreenGro's Veg, Flower, Green Aminos, Natures Brix and Granular Myco added to it @ 1.5 tsp/g and then ph'd to 6.4 @ 73℉. 01/02- Today I watered them from the bottom with 0.5g of de-chlorinated water to which I added 3ml/g of Earth Juice OilyCann cal-mag to prevent any Cal-Mag issues they may encounter before they arrive. I also have the HLG 650R set 36" above canopy and it's set at 60% power which is being controlled by a Trolmaster HydroX controller. The tent environment is on point with temp's running 70 when the light's off and 74℉ with the light on. I'm keeping the RH at 55-60% right now but will drop it as flowering progresses. Finally, I've been keeping the VPD in the tent running 0.85 - 1.05 which I'm happy with! 01/04- They have both been doing really well getting watered every other day and yesterday they received 0.5g each of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g of Fish Head Farms Fish Sh!t Soil Conditioner which was then ph'd to 6.3 @ 72℉. They're both doing fantastic but were really beginning to get choked up with growth so I went in and selectively removed a few shade leaves from both to get some light penetration down into their canopies to give that lower growth some much needed light. While I was doing that I also did a little more LST on both to also increase light penetration. Welcome to my 1st fem soil grow: Drop a like so I can visit your grows if you'd like, regardless thank you for your interest . 1st soil photo in the ground. Will be a few days before she shows leafs as I only waited till she showed about 2mm of tap root and she got planted 3/4 of AN inch down and soil lightly folded over and sprayed her with 100ml of mix with 1.5ml/L x3 400ppm. La Sirena is the only nutrient here that changes the EC. 1 5ML adds around 300+ppm to 78ppm water so. I decided to give this girl .5 more as she's going to be in the ground longer and has a long veg life. I'll be running her on TERRA POWERS full 19 line up. For this 1 I'll be following there chart as a guideline for nutrients and when to apply. As for the dose, that will be down to me. But if it's 2ml/L or whatever it is. It'll be getting that in 1L mix a week, (meaning she'll be fed exactly the ml/L as her total feed of that nutrient for the week. So this plant as she'll only be getting fed by ML not by many ml/L mix.) So when she's young her ml/L dose will be low as she'll have to take in a L of her or a high 2ml/500ml she'll be fed on a nutrient ML basis only. 2/5/22 VD1 Popped her head up. Can't wait for this 1, I've also got her in DWC Which is about 12hrs ahead. Have started on a light diet. 555ppm 4/5/22 I decided to go against the chart and give La Calavera for the root stim, I know we are a few days in but I'll wait until 2.5 weeks and stop the La Calavera. 6/5/22 So, it's begun. I've created a negative pressure environment, 1st time, let's see if it makes an impact. On wk 3 onwards I'll be running the intake extraction for 5mins every 30mins and I'll have 2 co2 bags up. If the RH becomes a problem or temp I'll put the extraction/intake back on 100% of the time. The extraction fan/intake is set at a ratio of 2 to 1. (100% extraction 50% intake) making a negative pressure environment, best way to show you have done this, the walls in your tent should bow in lightly Same Day. Okay, so this my last update. Going to run fans the same right up until flower and then I'll be sealing up my tent and adding 2 co2 bags. And will be adding a dehuimifier and setting at 45% And it checks every 30mins and if it's gone up it'll turn back on and bring down to 45 or set RH, so no co2 will escape. The temp will be bordering 30-33c and then when they go into their rest window they'll be transferred to to a negative pressure environment with low temps and 45-50%RH. I'll only be able to do this for the 3 weeks of pre flower. And maybe some more, it depends how hard the dehuimifier will be working, but i want dense buds and only way to improve that is by introducing Co2 and then a negative pressure cold environment for terps. Then I'll be putting them back into full negative pressure environment and the Co2 will be useless, again all depends how it's gonna affect my bottom line. That and I only have 2 intake fans. I'll be going into detail about my Co2 adventures the week before I'll be prepping them to be able to withstand high temps, so I'll gradually bring up the temps the last wk of veg 28c max and that way when I push it to 30-32c in pre flower she won't stress as much. 😍 shes actually very close to done, i might even harvest her tmr, if not then probably the next day, saw alot of milky with the odd amber today! She is also stankin nice a lovely. She has a little more flower than i expected to be honest, which still isnt very much but i'm pleased for the first outdoor grow. That is if she smokes as nice as she smells. I see a moderate amount of trichs, not like the tent but still nice and sugary. Next post should be the harvest report! I think i'll toss out a dried guess of 18 grams and its gonna be a little fluffy

Just starting week 6 and These girls are starting to get some smell finally . This is the same strain as my other big plant but I learned that this strain doesn't like to be over fed so I have been feeding these 4 plants a light feeding but the two plants in the back are showing they are hungry so this feeding today I upped their food . Checked the soil ph and it was in at 6.4 . Defoliated a few of the big fan leaves that were blocking the buds down the stalks and its looking pretty fat. Also the trichome production is much farther ahead then my big plant at this stage . The small leaves are covered in them . Still have about 4 to 5 weeks to go .
