Hey now, so this week went very well, I topped one of them for the last time on day 22,, and I wanted to top again but I started seeing some white pistils so I decided not to. I am now feeding 3 times per day with a total EC of 1.4 I am giving .4 to Cal Mag and 1.0 to Maxi Gro. I am also utilizing LST to try and keep an even canopy. I felt like my last grow produced far too many fluffy buds, so I am trying to focus on fewer bud sites, and denser colas. I am also testing the runoff and I am getting readings of 1.5 to 1.6 so I am good with that. Thanks for checking out my diary, be safe and blaze on!

THURSDAY 11/29: I'm in love with Gertrude. She's in full beast-mode now. Growing a couple inches per day. She's gonna be a producer.👈 Gretyl is growing, but not as quickly as I'd like. Doubt she's ever gonna get very big.. I foliar fed a few times and did a photo session.😍 FRIDAY: Gertrude is still growing vertically, but also packing on the pistils!!!!!!!😁 Gretyl is actually starting to stretch a bit, too. I foliar fed a few times and spun them around. SATURDAY: I fed them today with about 1/3 gallon of bloom nutes, plus a little extra boomerang for the N. Gertrude is the tallest plant in the garden and there's no sign she's slowing down at all! Every one of her branches is growing an inch a day at least. I'm hoping she's a monster, but at the same time, I'm not looking forward to having to supercrop her. I'd so much rather not do any bondage....really uglies up the photos....but I keep growing dissimilar strains and always have an uneven canopy... Gretyl is now directly under the quantum board, and on a throne, so she's about 18 inches from the light. Hoping to kick her into high gear. SUNDAY: Gretyl perked up a little more and might have even grown a little! Gertrude is still stretching! MONDAY: I foliar fed them a few times and moved them around a little. Gretyl must have soil drainage problems..she kinda wilts for a day following every watering...I started probing her pot today and will continue to do so for a few days. TUESDAY: Gretyl looked horrible today. I probed the hell out of her soil again and fed her about 12oz of ph'd water with boomerang, calimagic, kangaroots, and some powdered bat guano. If she doesn't perk up in the next day or so, I'll assume she's rootbound and transplant her into a 5 gallon pot with more perlite in the mix. Gertrude also looks like she has some drainage problems, but not too terribly bad. I probed her soil today and also gave her about 8oz of the same solution.

Wasn’t planning on popping this seed but it feels wrong leaving an empty space in the tent so I thought why not, never done OG Kush before so I need to know if I’m missing out. Strain: The OG#18 - Reserva Privada Nutrients: Mills Nutrients Medium: DNA x Mills Coco & Cork 22/02/19 - this bean germinated so fast it was unreal at least 1/2” tail within 24hrs of just being in the water & after 48hrs it was at an inch but twisted around itself but it did break through over night but again also has the wax holding the leaves together but over sprayed with ph’ed water.

Last days before chop. Limiting watering and reducing temp really boosted maturing. They ripened fast this last week. I’m glad o made it in time. Next update chop.

3erd week in the pocket still using Sun ligh i started giving them a root enhancer nothing else had to use mad farmer to bring the ph water down Las vegas water ph is too high my ph reader was reading 7.5 so it was adjusted to 6.5

They look super happy, nothing to complain about.

A good week here in the tent. The girls continue to grow and progress. Getting a small amount of water daily. Looking for more progression then I'll transplant the best looking ones.

Plants with more direct UV showed much more purple across all 3 plants. The data shows that the number of terpenes in dried Cannabis flowers increases with a “No Red” light treatment for the final three days of production. Based upon these findings, we feel confident in recommending a spectrum control program that eliminates red light output from fixtures for the final 72 hours of the Cannabis flowering cycle. Terpenes are aromatic compounds that give cannabis some of its most distinct aromas from citrus and berry, to more earthy tones. Many species of plants produce and emit terpenes in a diurnal, or daily cycle that is regulated by a complex web of signaling. There are also many plants that emit terpenes at night to attract nocturnal pollinators (Marinho et al., 2014346). Regardless of when the terpenes are produced or emitted, these processes are often dependent upon cues derived from natural light/dark cycles via a native circadian clock (Dudareva et al., 2004). Several light-sensitive pigments are involved in these processes of production and emission, and the different photoreceptors are dependent upon different wavelengths of light to be activated or deactivated. Emission of terpenes is a process that is entirely dependent upon phytochromes and red/far-red light cues in most plant species (Flores and Doskey, 2015). For example, repeated light/dark phytochrome signaling is necessary for the emission of terpenes in tobacco plants (Roeder et al., 2007). Based on previous findings, we hypothesized that a lack of red light and phytochrome-mediated light/dark signaling on the part of the plant is responsible for an increase in terpene content in cannabis. The plant continues to synthesize terpenes, but a lack of red light to trigger the Pr-Pfr shift results in a lack of terpene emission by the plant, thus causing the terpenes to accumulate in the maturing flowers. Sound waves stimulation could increase the plant plasma-membrane H+-ATPase activity, the contents of soluble sugar, soluble protein, and amylase activity of callus. Moreover, sound waves could increase the content of RNA and the level of transcription. Stress-induced genes could switch on under sound stimulation. Sound waves at 0.1–1 kHz and SPL of (70±5) dB for 3 h from plant acoustic frequency technology (PAFT) generator within a distance ranged from 30 to 60 m every other day significantly increased the yield of sweet pepper, cucumber and tomato by 30.05, 37.1 and 13.2%, respectively. Furthermore, the yield of lettuce, spinach, cotton, rice, and wheat were increased by 19.6, 22.7, 11.4, 5.7, and 17.0%, respectively. Sound waves may also strengthen plant immune systems.
