High GD community, Week 7, Theres been a lot of rain last week, heavy winds. A lot of dust blew into the greenhouse. Theres also an attack of snails. Bcs the natural barrier of straw was blown away. Those sneeky bastards!!!🔪🔪🐌 First flowers appear on the zuchinis, theyve been growing a lot. Big fat leafs! The eggplants recovered 100% and showing new growth on top of the plant. Melons keep having a hard time, so i bought a other 1, same strain, only a F1 version. 🤞 Spanish peppers have their first flowers. 2 newbies are red pointed sweet paprika. And cucumber not triving yet. 1 died, so i bought 2 new ones, just to be sure. Of all the little pots my son made, nothing sprouted yet, except for some weeds. He was a bit dissapointed all week nothing appeared, reallife lessons in patience and failure. This week ive started siefing my compost pile. While i was turning over some parts of the compost, i noticed a lot of bummblebees swerving around. Than i found this hairy ball that was buzzing. If i knew they had their home installed, i would have been less brutal. Its a hard job turning over more tgan 1 qubic meter of plantmaterials and soil all mixed. So ive restored the place a bit, covered the space so the rain coulnt get onto the nest. As you can see, those bees are working their white ass off to get thinks back in place. Just a few hours after(14h) they are back in business. I also was astonished by how much wind those big fat bumblebees produce. Dust is swirling up when they hoover above the soil. Ive planted the iceberg lettuce togethere with an other 6 4 seasons lettuce, and covered the space for the intens rains and winds of last week. Thats it for this weeks adventure!! 🙏🌿🌿🌿🙏

Week 5 of flower and seed production for all these plants has started in earnest. We cleaned up the tent somewhat and took down all the males after having done their job. Alls left is to wait for finish now. The nute deficiency appears to have corrected itself now that we’ve balanced out the ratios a little more. The WPM is no match for the sodium bicarbonate but still gonna have to keep on top of that to the end of the grow. Full fumigation of the grow spaces will be required - multi-day process I am not looking forward to. Time cleaning is time not growing, sadly. We’re coasting to the finish now but should still have some decent updates on our super secret seed harvesting method once they’ve fully matured😉👍. Hope everyone’s well and grow’n that straight 🔥. Background Fingers crossed that these Spicy Bitch regs provide at least one male so that we can back build some stock of it. In the event that does take place we’ve got a single clone of each strain from the previous pollen chuck to sit in the tent with them so they can make babies for the next few months. The whole point of the last year was to start making some foundational genetics for a third generational cross we could call our own. If you’ve been following along than you’ll know that it’s been anything but easy. Our previous pollen picks didn’t pan out at all so we’re back to the drawing board with a new option from ExoticSeeds. This’ll be a 10 plant run with 5 regs and 6 strains for pollination including the strain itself. We’re running in a 2x4 MarsHydro grow tent all powered by a Mars Sp6500. That’s a little more than 600w packed into half the recommended footprint😳. Why? you ask - because we like our buds big and overcompensatory😂. Really, I’m just of the mind that we can pack more light into this space than recommended and get much better results. The math doesn’t lie. At least not as long as I wasn’t high when using the calculator again….. Many thanks to @MarsHydroLED for the opportunity to test run the equipment👊. In addition, we’ve also moved to a new nutrient system - Druid Nutrients out of the Netherlands. They don’t really have a presence on GD yet but you’ll be hearing about them very soon I’m sure. The beauty of this system is that it’s literally a 1 (one) component system for the entirety of the plants grow cycle. It really has changed the game in terms of ease of feeding and maintenance. It’s also very versatile and seems to provide everything needed across multiple different strains in the same ratios. Keep your eyes peeled for these folks. Pretty much a guarantee that they absolutely blow up once more people know about them👍👌😎. Strain Background Spicy Bitch: predominantly sativa, heavy yielder with a daytime kinda trip profile. It’s a cross of Queen Mother and a Pre-2000 AK47. We’ll pull what pollen we can and hope to have a female run out a larger supply of seed for the future. Many thanks to @Exoticseeds for the chance to give these beans a go👍👊. Pollination Strains: Holy Surfer S1 - this is one of the focal points for this cycle. A fellow growmie was kind enough to ship over some S1 genetics I took an interest in. The only ask back was that if I did cross it to send a few his way for testing👍. It’s a compact and squat plant requiring very little maintenance. Typical for the strain really. It’s been chosen as an option to potentially mellow out the high , shorten the stature of the resulting hybrid and inject it with some of that mellow indica effect. Boogie Nights - total shot in the dark. Still haven’t even tried the strain myself yet but it was available at the right time and interesting enough to make a salad with. Big thanks to AMS who’ve been nothing short of an excellent seedbank to collaborate with. Expect similar growth characteristics to that of the Northern Lights. Better resilience however. Blueberry - this particular clone is from extremely strong stock. Spliff seeds broke the mold with this strain. She’s lower maintenance than the NL, more resilient than anything else we’ve got on the menu and the terp. Profile on this girl is out of this world. If we can bring any of these qualities to the cross, then it could be magic👌. White Widow - garrghh, I just can’t get away from this particular plant. Again, still haven’t even tested the buds yet and all I can say is that the growth characteristics are extremely vigorous and desirable. This plant is one of 3 unicorns that I have yet to tame due to a combo of extremely bad luck and circumstance. All told, it’s still the same story: a VERY experimental breeding project designed to shotgun a broad swath of genetics against a reliable and dependable Breeder who’s put out proven fire 🔥🤟😎👍.

Hi, everybody. Today my plants 55 days. They look very good, cheerful. I had a problem with the lamp today. I don't know what's wrong with her after the photo shoot, but she did not turn on even after it cooled down, had to be replaced by a spare, though it has a slightly different spectrum. 😟 I found that the smell was very strong, air filtration fails, the stench goes through a little passive blowing and smells of the whole apartment. When my greenhouse is closed the smell is, but not strong, but when I work in it, it is necessary to ventilate the room for a long time. And for me this dangerously. But, there is good news, the postman gave me a great fertilizer that will help me get a good and delicious harvest. 💪 Bubblelicious Auto - these plants show a very strong smell, for 4 days it has increased several times, the smell is very strong, but pleasant. The smell of skunk was felt better when you smell a flower, but everywhere smells very strong and sweet smell of Bubble. It is very very sweet, resembles sugar cane, very sweet candy. Nevilles Haze Auto-very active, the vegetation period is very long. This plant requires a lot of time and patience, but I think it will reward me with a large harvest, I hope so. This plant practically does not smell, but there is a typical smell of Haze. If you want to harvest quickly, this plant will not suit you, be patient, well, I will tolerate. In General, we will monitor their development. 2024-06-08 INDOOR: After the training is complete, i placed her into the Floweringroom Yesterday. She drinks alot around 2l every day, and i may have to fertilise soon, we will see, because i added athick layer if INSECTFRASS on the surface. OUDOOR The weather turned to very hot and humid- perfect for the Plant, she had a super Progress. Afghanistan / Brazil Type: Indica/Sativa Flowering: 63 Days THC: 29% Harvest: 1000 g/m2 Height: 150-205 cm Rating: Divine Seeds developed Opium as a new champion strain, unprecedently powerful and loaded with unbelievable quantities of resin. Certainly, no average genetic base could be behind such brilliant parameters! Several Afghani Indica landraces, recognized as most potent and resinous, were bred together with a mighty Brazilian Sativa which Opium inherits its bright berry taste from. Then a great deal of work followed aiming for the highest THC level and endurability as well as a branchy structure that would provide maximal yields. Now we can proudly title Opium the best Indica you could dream of growing! Indoors these plants mostly stay mid-height (1.5 m), reaching up to 2.0 m out of doors. Depending on your height limitations, Opium flourishes universally in grow boxes, balconies, green houses and terraces. premiére plantation de ma vie, nouveaux challlenge ^^ départ de la germination :) petit godet de esay start,( https://www.royalqueenseeds.fr/growing/162-easy-start.html ) seed germinator de royal queen seed. dans une petite chambre afin de maintenir le 90% d'HR. avec un fond d'eau le reste de l'activateur dans lequel il fallait submerger. Les godets,sont surelevé légérement afin de ne pas les noyer. Départ en lune ascendante nouvelle lune en 19 en gémeaux : il me semble que ce n'est pas si favorable que ça ... on verras :) germination a 7 jours ... j'ai presque eu peur XD. La tige n'est pas encore sortie de son godet. aération de la chambre une fois par jour pour en cvhanger l'air. ^^

12/28 - Day 43 / Day 15 Flower - Feed Day Pots were mostly dry on this day. It has been about a week since I last fed them. I've only had two small waterings since last feed, about a half gallon of water for each of my 5 gallons and about 8oz of water for my bonsais. My plants are drying out within about 48 hours of each small watering. For today's feeding I decided to pull Grow Big out of the solution and focus exclusively on bloom nutes. My solution consisted of: - 1 gallon distilled water - 4ml CalMag - 2 tsp of FF Big Bloom (2/3 dose) - 1 tsp of FF Tiger Bloom (1/2 dose) - pH: 6.7 - TDS: 582 - EC: 1.2 The pH of my solution was down around 5.3 when first mixed so I pH'd up with baking soda to get to a final pH of 6.7. I gave each of my 5 gallons about a half gallon of the fertigated water each which wasn't enough to produce runoff. I gave them each about another 1/4 gallon distilled water to generate enough runoff to test. I tested the runoff of my Z52 which gave me readings of: - pH: 6.4 -TDS: 1620 -EC: 3.3 I gave about 12oz of fertigated water to each of my bonsais. My ZB2 runoff posted readings of: - pH: 6.8 - TDS: 718 - EC: 1.5 **************************************************** 12/30 - Day 45 / Day 17 Flower Pots were close to dry so gave each of the girls a light watering. Gave about 1/4 gallon of de-chlorinated, pH'd water to each of the 5 gallons and 6oz to the bonsais. Everything looking good aside from the fact that my girls are getting too tall for my tent. I've ratcheted my lights up as far as they'll go but the tops are now starting to get within 12". May need to take action to lower the canopy. **************************************************** 1/1 - Day 47 / Day 19 Flower Happy New Year! Pots were getting pretty dry again so provided another light watering with no nutes. **************************************************** 1/2 - Day 48 / Day 20 Flower I am officially concerned with the the distance between the tops and my lights. After reading a few forums to see what other growers have done in my situation, the consensus feedback is to do some supercropping. I ended up supercropping both of the main stems on my 5 gallon pots. I counted three nodes from the top, massaged the stem a little bit where I planned to bend and and then bent each branch to almost 90 degrees. Luckily, the stems didn't snap or show any signs of breakage. Had to remove the shelf in what should be a second compartment of my tent and attempted to do a little LST to widen my plants and lower their canopy.

They are starting to get fat. I’m harvesting pink at the end of this week, still no obvious amber trichomes but she isn’t getting much fatter either, she has about 90% orange pistils. Canna cheese is maturing well, giving out crazy color combinations and getting thicker by the day, she’s next after pink kush.

Some of the buds/ leafs were starting to turn brown. It seems like it was a bit past it's prime, I harvested on day 60 of flower. The strain was 56-63 days Jack Herer by pHenos Nursery. The trichoms looked ready, I did have some issues that I've noted in previous weeks but it smells amazing and I can't wait for it to finish drying and curing!

I'm done with autoflower cultivar! That and trying to grow outdoor specimens indoors, no bueno. In this micro-grow area of mine will be from now on, limited to two plants and I will be much more selective of what plants to grow out! I've had a few autos turn out but with this grow getting so out-of-control, autos being photos, etc. It would just be easier for me as an individual limit the type of growing I'm doing to just breeding; one male, one female but with this bagseed male...we will see what the offspring are like at a later time but for now I'm trying to force this male to flower. Alot of growth from the purple haze auto, so much so it has crowded out both Lemon Haze autos and I can't even see one but can smell it!! Once I get to 12/12, growth should be completely focused on buds but for now I'm allowing all plants time to transition @14 hrs and EOD Emerson effect treatments. More soon. Also, something is off with my camera's contrast, everything in my room from my perspective is very green, light/lime yes but it appears yellow in my photos. I suppose I could go a bit higher in soluble N, an and Iron when I feed but as of today, Blood meal is making it's way to the top of my favorite amendments...quick! I've gone a tad bit more rich with feedings on the N side for the Purple Haze auto as it is not auto and kind of let the Lemon Autos finish, hopefully my 2 in 1 lemon isn't soaking up all the N in its last couple weeks...smoke might be zingy/zesty! Anyways, I've basically let the two lemon autos go and have focused on Purple Haze. Can't wait until flower!
