This week went pretty well, other than she stretched like crazy and I am now getting worried about running out of vertical space. I also had a few of my bottom leaves get a few brown and yellow spots on them. I did post some pics and asked a question, thank you for the responses, much appreciated! I am thinking about adding my Spyder Farmer LED 100 Watt light into the tent for the nebula auto because it is about 23 inches shorter than the sour diesel. I believe it would only raise my temp about 2 degrees, and possibly lower the humidity by one or two percent. I must say my dehumidifier has been a freaking stud, running 24X7 and not complaining. I should look into adding another unit, it has been in the mid 90's and muggy for about a week. So far I have to say I am super impressed and excited with this setup, the genetics, and with growing this wonderful plant in general. Already planning ahead to my next grow, and what I can do better. I have been enjoying myself and I really appreciate everyone who has taken the time to answer my questions! I am having a blast and am excited to see what this lady will give up in a few weeks!

Chonga is doing nicely at 7", Cheecha still a little behind. The soil has been staying moist for awhile, even with light watering and I was worried about root rot. So, I let them go about a week without watering. After a light watering with the remaining 1 ml/2Qt nutrient/water solution (about 1 cup each plant), I took the plunge and decided to try Topping (or FIMing), which I did a few days after watering. I'm also concerned about soil PH. I've been testing it with the 3-in-1 tester, but it always reads about 7. I tried the thing out in pure vinegar, but it gave the same results. So, soil PH is anybody's guess. I eventually bought a digital PH tester for liquids. BIG CHANGE: On Day 27, I switched over to a new, 1200W LED grow light.

Stretch is done and flowers are piling on now! I treated with lost coast as a preventative. I kept the feed the same but it will be altered end of grow week. Canopy is getting hella full can't wait to watch these colas stack on. Until next update. Happy growing and stay lit fam.

Hey guys :-) . Today the plant was sprayed again with neem oil. There weren't any more trips to be seen after the second application, but to be on the safe side, you did it again today get a cure. That's why the beautiful dark shimmer on the leaves :-). The ladies are developing well and have 1 week before I change the time to flowering. Normally I would let it get bigger and train because the tent only has 80x80 and 180 watts are available, so I will switch it over soon enough. This week it was poured twice with 0.8 l each time (for nutrients, see table above). Otherwise everything was cleaned and, as always, everything was checked. Day 87 - Feeding day today. Removed Acti_Vera completely. She´s really starting to look mature. Tomorrow ill check trichomes. Also slightly defoliated dying leafs and to get more light at lower buds. They´re also developing well. Day 90 - Still see some clear trichomes. Will keep the plan i had in mind, ill feed her one more time and start flushing at the end of this week. This beast is really getting beautifull, love this fruity hashy blueberry aroma. Fingers really get sticky. Day 91 - Last feeding today. Day 93 - She´s really getting mature, so today i will start flushing. At the end of next week i´ll harvest. Flushed 3L of pH´d water (around 6)

How did you create/breed Freakshow? A. Methodical selection, line breeding, and culling is the short answer. Read our About page for more details. Q. Is it an indoor or outdoor type? A. Everything I've ever worked has been outdoors, including of course Freakshow. It has been our experience that outdoor (or sun grown, as it's recently being referred to) cultivars seem to perform extremely well under artificial conditions. In the 70s in Santa Cruz, Haze was a favorite among surfers for the pure energy and I still have (greatly improved) stock of it around, simply because even when I made hybrids with it I always kept the original in pure form for obvious reasons. Q. What is the psychoactive effect like? A. Like the flavors, many people have commented that the "buzz" is somewhat different than other mainstream types out there. It's not entirely out of the scope of imagination that given that this strain has new alleles in so many other respects, that it could also contain new, unique cannabinoids, as well as new and unique terpenoids, some of which may not even be among the standard 16 or so that the average lab is testing for. Aside from the up, cerebral, energetic boost, some report a mild time/space warp effect. Creativity and idea induction should be mentioned, for sure. Freakshow has the pure energy effect and greatly alters perception to the positive side, so definitely destroys depression. I thought I better clarify this because there are a few people thinking that because of an article "Growing Marijuana that Doesn't look like Marijuana" that mentions that I had worked web-leaf types years ago and had eventually turned that into Freakshow. This is incorrect and I'm needing to get ahold of the writer to have him change it. When I read the piece and saw the mistake I figured it didn't matter that much, that the actual method of breeding could just remain a "trade secret". Recently, I noticed online that a posting, "Freakshow only exists because of duckfoot" by Curious Cannabis Connoisseur, where he explains how I developed Freakshow using Duckfoot. Let me explain, about 20 yrs. ago a friend gave me a jar of seeds labeled "BC Bigbud" and I sprouted flats of hundreds to look for oddities and had found one web-leaf pheno which we named Webster. It was a female so I bred it to a normal leaf male and began selecting and stabilizing a line of Webster. About 5 or 6 generations later I had nailed it to 100% webs and had also stabilized it for a deep purple color and a nice "gingerbread" terp profile. I was busy working other lines at that point so I put Webster in the library. Also, I was having a hell of a time getting a pheno of it that flowered to my satisfaction. (it seemed to finish with a limited number of calyxes). I knew I would have to outcross it to something with a big tasty bud and restabilize it for web-leaf, and I no longer had the original BC Bigbud. I still have the Webster seeds, and trust me the thought has crossed my mind to make the cross with Freakshow, but why? Why mess around crossing things just to create something even weirder? I have heard that the "Duckfoot" also doesn't bud up well so maybe there's a correlation there. Anyway, people can do what they want to and I will too, but crossing Freakshow with some low-THC crap like ABC is in my opinion idiotic. I worked extremely hard stabilizing and perfecting a beautiful new subspecies and I believe it should be kept pure. I won't go on a rant here about the rampant crossing and the lack of line-breeding in the cannabis world in the last several decades, or where this will eventually lead us, but I will say that it's not in a good direction. Bottom line....Freakshow has no web-leaf genes, it was made using top-grade tropical narrow-leaf drug (NLD) cultivars. Q.Why is Freakshow patented? A. Although I and most others (including all the folks at HSC) believe in and subscribe to the concept of "open sourcing" because sharing in cannabis genetics was always the cultural norm, it was decided that Freakshow should be protected (1) because it is a novel and unique, not a preexisting strain (or even subspecies), (2) To keep the greedy corporate big boys from exploiting it, (3) To maintain control of the genetic refinement of it in all future generations. November 2nd marked another week of flower with "Pepper". She is a beautiful plant of jewel tones of greens, glistening under the frosty coating. We're getting close to the end. November 3, 2021, Wednesday. Nothing new to report. November 4, 2021, Thursday. Watered thoroughly. Her calyxes are swelling before my eyes, it's such a beautiful site. November 5, 2021, Friday. Hace un año exactamente estábamos cruzando uno de estos blíster de dosi- gelato del cual germinaron 3 de 5 semillas regalando nos dos hembras y un macho muy resinoso y oloroso y varias genéticas campeonas y de ediciones limitadas como amerth souer diesel x somango,souer diesel, como le pondría. A ese cruce o a dosi gelato x dosi gelato de hecho esa siempre fue nuestra intención sacar el máximo de semillas posibles de nuestro primer cultivo con semillas importadas primero necesita vamos unas semillas regulares pero de buena calidad y que supiéramos un poco de su genética investigamos acerca de doci-gelato y decidimos que sería la primera base de nuestros cruces sus efectos y aromas nos llamaron la atención aparte de que el nombre estaba de moda abrimos varios blister más como blackberry gum thunder banana moví d y varias que ya no quiero nombrar porque quiero que esos sabores sean invento mío jajajja leeimos un poco de como podíamos hacer semillas y lo hicimos polinizamos 11 hembras originales o estabilizadas que no se escuche feo y 3 hembras regulares una de ellas nos la vendieron con el nombre de Hulk otra como Cherry y la última una buble gum que comparamos su olor y sabor con el de la blackberry gum de seedstockers fue muy parecido a nuestra buble gum pero con notas a moras muy buenas de hecho es un cruce que tenemos contemplado para ver si con una planta macho de buble gum regular y una blackberry gum de seedstockers podemos mejorar aun mas el sabor y el olor en nuestro país de hecho hay buenas cepas regulares hemos probado genéticas con sabor mango,pastel de arándanos,limón ,sandía ,uva y gas,chicle clásico rosa,plátano,zorrillas todas esas genéticas y variedades nos han hecho llegar a pensar que en realidad hay gente que lleva incluso mas tiempo conociendo las semillas importadas o aun mejor importando las para realizar investigar o mejorar las genéticas y sus distintos efectos en el 2012 llegué a acceder a bancos de semillas quedé deslumbrado de la cantidad de nombres que había pero no era 100% seguro entonces no quise seguir insistiendo pero ya se escuchaban nombres como mango kush, Golden Acapulco,cronic el precio era mas elevado que los demas prensados que podiamos conseguir pero eran mejores efectos y aromas ya para 2018,2021 Se empezaron a escuchar nombres como blueberry,amnecia,skunk,pineaple,og,kalifas,jirafa ,puma,gorila,Hulk, chocolopez,candy, arcoiris,cristal,poison,f1,sueño azul , Tutankamón,shark, snow,Jack jerer, y mas llevamos 13 años recolectando semillas de diferentes genéticas de cannabis siempre hemos cultivado esas semillas regulares pero nunca habíamos intentado un cruce para empezar no sabíamos como hacerlo solo sabíamos que no teníamos que dejar crecer el macho. Para 2022 después de un obsequio que tuvimos de un conocido volvimos a intentar una vez más conseguir semillas importadas nos regaló un tubo con 10 semillas del banco sweet seeds con fecha de empaquetado en 2017 llevándonos ala misma pregunta desde cuándo estaban llegando las semillas importadas y entonces algunas veces fumamos de genéticas originales al contrario de sentirme mal por no ser el primero en decir que traje genéticas originales o importadas a mi país me sentí feliz por que sabía que lo que estaba guardando todo el tiempo desde 2012 puede ser una gran colección de diferentes breeders tal vez tengamos varias ediciones especiales como la cepa froot loops, jirafe pussy,cronic,ak47 , y así fue como logramos contactar con un banco que parecía de confianza y obtuvimos dos blíster de doci-gelato , blackberry gum,thunder banana ,banana blaze y varias más hemos crecido varios de nuestros cruces pero necesitamos seguir investigando más aún para lograr estabilisar nuestras propias genéticas les dejo una foto de nuestro cruce María Sabina.
