June 8th & June 16th Update @gbaGrow What’s good sensei? The girls are growing nice and healthy. Looks to me like the spider mite problem is no longer. Still haven’t used any nutrients because the soil is still going strong. Today I topped all of them and left anywhere from 3-5 node pairings on each plant. I poked some drainage holes in the bottom of each solo cup a couple of weeks ago and quite a few of them are already growing roots through the bottom 😬😬 The cancer blaster and the purp fem seeds you gave me are coming in nice and full. They look promising my dude. One of the “signature seeds” (your strain) has a crazy morphology to it.... 2 main kolas without any topping. I’ve only seen that once before and it ended up being a male but who knows with this one 🤞🤞 All in all, we’re in good shape so far over here Photos and pics on the way....

Fed once this week with a weak feed including top max. I use kombucha vinegar as pH down. Water from my tap is ph6.8-7.0 and 38-42ppm so I might start using calmag supliment as the ppm at my old house used to come out of the tap at ph7. 2 and 200-220ppm. I had 2 plants that didn't like the light at 30000 lux and started bleaching so I took them out. I've defoliated today day 35 as humidity was getting over 80% and also to let light to the lower bud sights. Pre flower pistils showed on some plants around day 33 (some still have none) so I'll consider this the end of veg start of flower. The kalimist indica pheno is still not showing pre flower pistils but is always hard to force flowering when it's not mature for some reason. It's always 7-14 days behind everything else 🤔

This plant was the smallest of the 3 I am growing, she is now second biggest and by next week will be the tallest. Only using dry amendments and she is loving life. Going to be a good one.

7/19/2021 - Fed her with a mix of veg + bloom + worm castings + insect frass. We're 'bout to flip her. Unsure of the rate of application, going with feel. - Irrigated with a mix of water, coconut water, and unsulfured black strap molasses. - Decreasing the light timer by an hour each day to gently bring her into the flowering stage. - Defoliated again, she gets bushy fast. 7/24/2021 - Been defoliating this one every other day, she get's bushy reaaally fuckin' fast. - Lights finally reach 12/12 tonight. 7/25/2021 - First day of 12/12, gave her ANOTHER trim loll

About day 38 i am just realizing that i am stupid and been feeding the biogrow for cocoa coir 🤦‍♂️ way iver nuting with soil it says never to go over 1ml/L So i will be flushing for at least 1 or two waterings. Looking for the tip burn to stop spreading and the tips to not look like there clawing

the girls are struggling a little bit. One is yellowing because its about to flower, but one is just not growing much and the other is very lanky.

The two big dawgs started to really pack it on this week. Number one is holding strong a week ahead of two. Has a bit of a learning curve with the new hydro setup and HLG leds. I learned that the intensity causes the flowers to use more cal-mag than standard hps/halide according to some reading. It also could be they are just using more than the recommended dosage and a had a bit of a phosphorus deficiency. Either way I upped my Cali magic and the young leaves look great as do the flowers. #1 is starting to get some pinks and purples and #2 is still cranking out white pistils.

Because this strain is so OUTSTANDING.. She DESERVES a little more time because of some inaccuracies from me...................... And i really want this indica Punch. For this is better to become some amber trichoms... And weight.. 😛 💪 DAY 58 OF FLOWER. She is ok. Ripening. But the aphids. Que gran genética, y muy típica entre fumadores de hierba, un crecimiento más indico pero floración lenta bastante lenta, en teoría se supone que es Sativa, 17% thc en la tas con un tamaño medio pequeño pero flores mi compactas y dulces, un cultivo ni fácil ni difícil, sin más, bastante neutral para los cambios climáticos algo sensible con el aspecto alimentación. Day 35 - All still growing very strong, both plants that aren’t being mainlined are very short & bushy but have a lot of bud sights! So first week of flower or pre flower maybe?? But whatever it is they are now outside and getting direct sunlight from about 10am to 4pm and loving it. They started off this week looking a little yellow on the new growth but by Wednesday all the leaves are nice and green. Got the day off tomorrow so think I'll do a light defol and have another look at the lst wires. The mother of this clone is about a week away from harvest (my first ever harvest!!) And she smells great, everytime I walk outside. Looking forward to a comparison, my first soil harvest and my first hempy 1 after another. So I just got 2 feeds in this week, had some rain which kept the coco moist for longer so now we wait. Thanks for stopping in 👍

Hello! Northern Lights from Sensi Seeds is a great strain to grow. It is easy and resistant to most things except my stupidity (*) . I grew them in Central Europe, in pots of 17L on a basic windows growth, with decent soil with additional mycorrhizas. Generic multi fertilizer like Nitrophoska was added in beginning as granules + I added some poo from rabbits. Plants grew nicely also with the light from the large windows, but I felt they preferred a warmer and sunnier climate. (next time you can try cool or continental climate strains). After 25 weeks, I harvested 2 of them (one was harvested couple weeks before, read below for details) and I got 573g of material before drying. I will try to update the value when it is dried. Now they are drying like in the video I uploaded. Thanks for reading my diary. *) Once I opened the windows and I bent the central stem of the third plant, the smallest since beginning. I put a stick to keep it up and it still survived until flowering. I had to harvest it couple weeks before the others 2 plants, because after this "injury" the plant started to have some mites that were spreading in the plant. In this country, you cannot buy BIO products against parasites, so I preferred to harvest sooner. For the numbers of this last harvest report, I counted only the 2 that I harvested together and 573g is the wet weight of these other 2.

Instead, I wait for the plants to show true signs of bloom. It’s a small but significant distinction that keeps things accurate and aligned with the plants’ development. 🌱 Defoliation: Timing is Everything! Defoliation is a critical part of the flowering stage, and I typically wait until Day 21. However, this week, I tackled it earlier on Day 17 because: 1️⃣ The room was simply too full. 2️⃣ And most importantly—the Papaya Zoap had other plans! She’s a fighter—determined, defiant, and constantly reaching for the moon. Despite intense training like super cropping, she’s still pushing upward, nearly outpacing the LED lights. Challenges like this remind us of a simple truth: gardening mirrors life. It’s about resilience, adaptation, and unwavering determination. 💪 This week, I added a second SCROG layer. While this net will support the flowering colas, it’s also there to strategically manage the Papaya Zoap. Why? Because experience has taught me that if she grows out of the LED’s range, she won’t finish properly—and that could disrupt the balance for every other plant in the tent. It’s all about teamwork, even in the garden. 🌟 Defoliation was intense, removing nearly all the leaves with stems to clear space and boost airflow. The tent now looks dramatically different! Just because i realized im not really providing info about my potted grow but I have been using Mother Earth coco plus perlite i added worm castings, bat guano, n vegetable garden 4-4-4. just p.h'd water at 6.50. once in flower i would water with a diluted solution from my dwc and PPM under 200PPM.
