Week 10 Veg – The Art of Clipping & Training
We’ve officially hit Week 10 Veg with our White OG from Seedsman Seeds, and this week has been all about training and sculpting her into the beast she is meant to be! 💪🌿

This week, I went full hands-on with her structure, bending, clipping, and securing her branches into the exact shape I want. Each branch was carefully attached and adjusted, allowing her to spread out and open up beautifully. This method encourages even light distribution and maximizes bud sites for the upcoming flowering phase.
She’s been responding amazingly to the training, showing strong recovery and explosive growth in return. It’s taking longer than usual in veg, but patience is key. I believe this will pay off in the end, rewarding us with a massive, structured mama ready to produce some stunning flowers.

By the end of the week, after letting her settle and stretch from all the training, I decided to do a proper photo shoot to capture all her beautiful details. There’s something about seeing her structure under the perfect lighting that makes all the work worthwhile.

Week 7
Mar 15 - Mar 21
Another easy and pleasant week. Girls are super healthy and strong. It's seems that both will go full purple 😁 absolutely love it 😍
On Mar 17 Selective defoliation, training on branches and watering with bloom nutes. 7 ltrs beetwen both. Small runoffs with perfect 6.5 ph. Didn't notice any signs of stress. Girls bounced back within an hour. Second watering on Mar 21 7ltr beetwen both. Light dimmer at 65 watts. Humidity at 45% on avg when lights on and 50-55% when off.
Really enjoyable grow this one. Almost no work around as no issues at all. Pure joy to watch how these grils growing 😁🧑🌾

Well its another update from down under.. and things are getting better with the Caramelo. She got badly burnt from my mistake of using too strong lime sulfur spray to treat spider mites and mold issues before they could take hold. And its kinda worked. lols...the mites are still there but reduced alot in number but I was almost ready to chop her after I saw how badly burnt all her new shoots were.
But Im glad I decided to wait a bit as she has recovered faster than expected and while im sure she still has issue at the root level from the rain drenching her for near on a week- she basically stunted after that and never showed much stretch at all when switching to flower-she grew maybe 15cms in height total after that so Im assuming some kind of root rot has her and any harvest will be a bonus. In saying that Im still not going to be suprised if she suddenly dies or gets badly infected with bud rot out of the blue as Im nursing her hard just to get her to this stage and in my experience a nursed plant may produce a yield but it will be weaker than its meant to be and reduced by around 50% of the yield you should have got. if she was indoor id have ripped her out after the sighs she was stunted presented and started over with a new plant. But out doors I dont have that luxury so I will nurse her thru and hope for the best but expect less than average results.
Zkittles though is loving life and just LOOK at her!! When you realize she was the same size as the Caramelo when the rain hit and now look at the difference- thats why i say when you see obvious signs of stunting-rip the plant if you can and start over, it may recover but if it was serious then the plant will never show its true potential and you may think those genetics are shit. Ive never grown the Caramelo before now so if i judge it on this result I will say the genetics are shit when the plant likely had root rot from 3 weeks before even switching to flower. And the BC buds hash plant is FINALLY flowering too now. For a 90% indica it sure is taking the longest to flower. I wonder if its the old school genetics at play here-This strain been around since the 70's while the ZkittleZ is a modern hybrid so maybe the newer genetics really are all they are cracked up to be. Thats why I love doing side by side grows out doors with diff genetics and see what they can really do. You should see my mates BC hashys- lmao, he said he wanted bigger plants than last year as he got "bonsai" plants from someone else. Now he has to tie down trees that are growing over his 6ft fence!! And they only just went into flower last week.
But on that note- Will update more now as things progress towards harvest. Cheers for stopping by and if your still reading this-nice work, most pple cant read shit these days so double points for making it this far.

Day 1. Hope all goes well. This time I have my substrate ready, unlike strawberry pie. It took off so fast didn't expect it to break ground in 2 days. Which I just transplanted.

New feeding schedule seems to be bringing the girls new life. I might have to give the Recharge credit. Also checking pH very thoroughly. Stick doesn't seem to work well anymore. PH could be why the couple in the back were growing slow the last few weeks while the others were slightly more resistant.
Crossing finger to find purple phenos in a couple week.

Ok, so I forgot to take any pics on week two and holiday time week 3 came up real fast. so we are going to skip over any of the week two details. just watered em and they grew.
This week we did a nice little transplant into their final 2gal pots. Fortified with a bunch of amendments and Acti-Sol, everything is listed in the video. Any question just let me know.
I don't age my medium at all and I think I should start doing this to avoid some other things, I just find it hard to do it in winter time indoors as soil can be stinky with amendments and I like it to stay in the tent under the carbon filter.
Medium I used is 40% coir, 30% perlite, 20% compost, 10% vermiculite and 10% worm castings. Then the amendments are added into that at the rate of 30-60ml per 1Gal of medium. This batch has Gaia 4-4-4, Gaia Insect Frass, Giaia Diatomaceous Earth, Gaia Rock Dust, Acti-Sol Seaweed Meal, Acti-Sol Shrimp/Crab Meal, Acti-Sol 4-3-2, Acti-Sol 4-6-8 and Bokashi. Nice little mix, water it in with a bit of magnesium and microbes dissolved into the water. The bokashi should help break everything down and make a bit of a acidic environment for all the meals and rock dust to become available. Roots looked good, not a dense as some runs but still nice. I feel the soil might be a bit hot so will expect some burnage on them hopefully its nothing to crazy. Will ph down with a mix of citric, malic and ascorbic acids. They are in a rate of something like 50-60%/40-30%/5-10%, its written down in my of my notes just can't find the pad ATM.
Also more videos vs anything this week. I like em more but processing them is annoying AF.
Side note, my lights timer was on 12/12 not 16/8 so it explains why they went into bloom, switch it back and will top the plants next week one they start to reverse their ways and get comfortable in the new pots. Also got ride of the chive seed start as it was looking sad, plus I got a bunch of European chive varieties in the mail yesterday and want to try them out. see if they really have any different taste and what ones I like better.

Dropping Silicon this week and changing to TNC bactor as out of Great White. Apart from that, nothing major with these 2 to report.

White Runtz has been the biggest plant out of all the SOG plants this run. It has large leaves and a large body to go with
All of the plants have really taken off. Usually I have a couple plants that are much smaller but all of these plants are getting huge. Seeing I got a new eluefah uap1
500 the other day and I have my 2 fastbuds plants under that now I have my spider farmer light free. So I popped up another 2x2 and moved 3 of the 10 plants into the 2x2 and left the 7 other in the 2x4.

Week 6 flower, half way there! Buds are starting to fill in now and getting some decent frost. A couple of tops are getting more light than others, and fattening a bit more and looking real nice. It looks like there is some purple starting to come out at the tops. She is strong and will go as fast as the soil and environmental conditions will allow her to. Hand watered in Gaia Green Soluble Seaweed Extract 0-0-17, otherwise water drip is running on same schedule. Just using straight tap water that sits in a 30 gallon reservoir with a submergible water pump running 24/7 breaking surface and aerating water. Water comes out the tap @ 7ph and less than 15ppm. So I don’t do nothing to it, I drink it:) Thanks for the view 🤜 Have a great week!

I will be starting the flush a week earlier then I expected these girls are clouding up super fast. The Jack Herer will need another 2 week at the least. But the Tangie and Durban Poison will for sure be done sooner.

Day 2. All the girls are coming along nicely one has a little heat damage to the main cola so redirected the airflow. almost all fan leaves are naturally falling off

Diese erste Woche ist für mich nicht zufrieden stellend. Farbe aller Ladies zu hell, Wachstum in meinen Augen gehemmt da für 7 Tage zu klein. Problem ist noch nicht erkannt, da ich zum ersten mal Advanced Nutrients und das erste mal Autoflowering Seeds nutze. Die Energiesparlampe die ich schon seit Jahren verwende (bei kleinen Töpfen 1 l) war jetzt nicht gut da die Seeds direkt in die großen Töpfe gesetzt wurden und somit der Abstand und Ausleuchtung schlecht waren. Das war bei photoperiodischen Pflanzen kein Problem da immer 2 mal umtopfen. Daher heute der Umstieg auf eine Metal Halogen Lampe 250 Watt. Mal sehen was die nächste Woche bringt. Da ich nur mit Regenwasser gieße habe ich zu dem Advanced Nutrients Sortiment heute noch cal mag gekauft, da auch dies ein Thema sein könnte. Gestartet bin ich mit dem Dünger an Tag 5 mit der hälfte des Düngeplans… ist das so okay?
Temperatur und Luftfeuchtigkeit kann ich als Problem ausschließen da die Werte gut waren
