Week 7 is going smoothly so far. The flooding issue has subsided and the clones seem to be really taking off now. I'm excited to get back from vacation and really see my girls and my reservoir conditions after a 2 week hiatus.

The dame's a sight to behold, all lush and green, but there's something missing. The flowers, they're just not there. Tiny ones, a few here and there, like stars in a dark sky. I left her in the care of the smart watering system while I was away, a gamble that paid off. She's healthy, strong, but as I suspected the harvest will be slim. A rookie mistake, they all say. But I'm learning, and that's worth something. I'll give her a few more weeks, maybe she'll surprise me.

I go into the local Hydro store and the previous owner happens to be there. We talk about my novice grow and I mention the "Calcium" issue as I show him a photo.... He immediately asks me " Are those pots on a concrete floor? Because if they are, your roots are getting cold making it look like a calcium issue".... The new owner gives me a nice slab of styrofoam from an old box to put on the floor of my tent as I go home. I sick my BlueLabs PH soil pen in a drain hole at the bottom side of my pot and HOLY CRAP its only 17c and the PH is 5.2 !!!!! I take the plants to the bathtub and flush them with clean water PH'd to 5.8, about 8L of rinse per pot. I check initial run-off and its a whopping 2300ppm/50!!!!! I also remove some of the effected fan leafs in hopes I dont get some sort of plant illness. A day later I do the same PH test, PH is 5.8 and temp is 22C...all is well again. I should have paid attention to growing saying...make sure you get run off checks.

had big bud over the weekend, The soil was very dry when I came in on Monday so give it 2 litres hopefully last the next day or 2. Still very tempted to defoliate but unsure if it is the right time or what to remove. Decided to try and defoliate it a bit. see if it has any impact. still a bit worried about things like this what wiht it being my first plant

UPDATE - 24th of February 2020 - DRY WEIGHT & LOVE 56g total dry weight, after I gave them a very nice trim. They started curing in glass jars on 19/2/2020 and are currently between 63-68%RH inside. Burping every other hour for couple of minutes. While trimming some dried buds yesterday, I came across a seed, I couldn't believe it, between 😕and 😆, first time experiencing this, interesting, hopefully she didn't lose a lot of her potency and it only happened late. Learning from this: don't change light cycle. I changed from 18 to 21 hours, thought that was a good idea... All this aside, I am sooooooo in LOVE WITH HER 😍I have never grown such a beautiful plant, excuse the photo spam, she deserves a stage, at least for me 😉I can't wait to try her properly cured and get to learn her whole taste spectrum with the low and slow dried buds. Some of them will be processed to oil and edibles. If I find time, I might document some more. Until then, happy growing everyone, peace 🙏 Tried 2 different drying methods: 1. 23.08 Girls are stretching and creating budsites. Never had 16 of them in 5x5 and it is a bit too much. I have trouble controlling humidity. It’s already apparent they are taking their time and that it is more than 8 week strain. Officially it should be done in around 10 weeks.

Welcome to week 3! The last few plants that weren't topped should be ready fairly soon. Only 2 of the plants have bugs as far as I could tell but all of them will be treated just in case. Insecticide applications will be recorded as ~X. I will apply it as a spray on the foliage and over the top of the soil, the issue is relatively small now so I don't see the need to fully water with it - 07/09/23 7:58pm. The leaves are getting noticeably bigger after topping and supplementing! Haven't seen any more bugs either so far - 07/10/23 7:01pm. I saw a bug or two in some of the pots so I used a little bit more mammoth - 07/11/23 9:20pm. Some of the leaves on the bottom were yellowing and some spots are appearing on some of the more developed leaves as well. I clipped the lower leaves that were yellow, I believe it's most likely calcium deficiency. I added some Pesticide to the water for tonight as the bugs won't go away and I was only doing some spraying on the top soil until now. On the positive side they seem to be overcoming the stress of the topping extremely well and the double stems are growing strong - 07/15/23 8:00pm. ~W - Water ~SW - Supplemented Water ~X - Pesticide
