It’s Aliiiiiiive! Finally built my second matching hybrid NFT hydro system after getting the autos out of the main tent. 6” Rockwool cubes on draining racks in 8 gallon totes with an 8 gallon res. Waiting on some parts from amazon to add the second pump and feeding tubes. Hoping to veg them for 3-4 weeks before I flip the schedule. Haven’t decided if I want to scrog them yet or not.

Day 50. Selective defoliation, constant spraying ( I said never in flower, but it goes well, so I will keep up for few more days ). All good, nothing special except missing space as always ;)))) Day 54. 01/05 - Updating this a day early as they won't be 3 weeks old until tomorrow - but tomorrow's pretty busy for me... Gave them both a bucket change... added the Rapid Start to GG's bucket as her roots looked like they could use some (although I STILL think they look like OG has one more week of life to her than GG!) Going to start some LST later on today, a bit of ponytailing perhaps.... I have the feeling these two are going to fill my small tent!! Update: I went back 2 hours after changing their buckets only to find GG screaming in agony (see the pics of her teaching me a lesson)... the pH had shot up to 6.7 and she was NOT a happy camper at all!! Quickly made the adjustment and will check on her every half hour and measure her pH ... she's one sensitive little gal, is GG... Meanwhile, the same thing had happened to OG but, in typical OG fashion, she just yawned and said "Huh?" but I adjusted HER pH as well... good god! Second update 01/05 ... GG's pH was going up slowly again BUT she looked 100% better - her leaves had perked back up, the terrible crisping of them had stopped.. I trimmed off the two really bad leaves as they wouldn't ever regain any ability to help the plant and I did another small adjustment of her pH down again. I've also "ponytailed" her as I've wanted to try this technique and she seemed a good candidate as her cola was definitely going to be dominant. This technique will hopefully allow the side buds to gain more height and the plant will take on more of a bowl shape as opposed to a Christmas tree shape... Should anyone reading this want to try this, you need to know you cannot allow the ponytail to be in place longer than 8 hours a day... Interesting day... very interesting day. 01/06 - Well, the two of them made it through their day yesterday ... OG doesn't show any signs of any stress and GG is doing well although a couple of her leaves still bear the marks of her aversion to high pH levels! She's going to be the one I'm really going to have to baby but that's ok... OG is just a bull - nothing bothers that one! Ponytailing both of them again today... then I'll stop for a week before doing it again. 01/07 - Decided to do a regular bit of LST on GG - she's not as bushy as OG and will take more readily to that kind of training. OG, though, is still going to be ponytailed because she's short, fat and really, really dense. Did a bit of defol on OG yesterday and it's been well received by her - she's doing extremely well! Update... I've just discovered why OG is so much further along than dear GG... I was going back through the logs I keep because I wanted to know when to expect my newest baby's roots might hit the water - and I realized that OG's roots hit the water when she was only 4 days old! FOUR DAYS OLD!!!! That's unheard of... at least in MY experience! GG's roots didn't hit until she was 10 days old (her roots were only peeking out of the netpot at 6 days old) ... so no wonder OG has seemed like she's been about a week older than GG this whole time! That one is a ROCKET!!! Wowsie! 01/08 - Continuing to ponytail OG and LST GG... and both are loving it... responding really well. OG's side bud sites are almost completely catching up to the main cola so I think I'm going to just let it ride for a while. GG is needing more LST every day, keep pulling her over, letting her small bud sites into the light and they're responding well - had I left them alone, they would have been candidates for defoliation at some point - this way, they'll probably develop into good sized buds. 01/10 - The girls are really going to town but I'm having to do some hard LST on OG to try to keep her at a similar height as GG or we're going to have problems with the light distance soon. I may also have to do some defol on her soon - she's just terribly bushy! They're both loving their nutes - GG's is slightly less than OG's - and I'm keeping GG's pH at 6.0 since she doesn't seem to like it any higher than that... 01/11 - So the ponytailing days are over... both are being "normally" LST'd and they're both pretty much the same height which is good. Did some defoliation on OG yesterday - just took the two top fan leaves off since they were so massive they were shading the entire plant... she looks awfully good this morning and I'm super pleased. Starting to look for signs of pre-flower - should be soon!

11/20/23 - Day 14 - Today the box flipped to Veg state. I made the decision in the software yesterday, its take effect the next day at the light on schedule. The system will do a couple of things now that it's in Vegetative mode. Lights will remain at 18Hrs On/6hours Off, however the intensity will slowly creep from 30% intensity to 100% within a couple of days. Air Temp will remain the same at 79deg. F Humidity will go down to 50% Water temp and PH will remain the same, 64.5deg. F and 6.0Ph Because I have it all hooked up for Auto water. It started the first video about 1 min after lights on. It drained the water, refilled it. After it refilled it, it turned on the air stone, started the water temp cool down, and it slowly over the next 30 minutes delivered nutes, and finished it off with balancing the PH. All of this was done on its own. I DID NOTHING. Other than verify because why not. I sat back and watched the system work. This time around with everything hook up for auto I really am not doing much. The hardest part of this grow so far is not opening the door while the light is off. the rest of the week I don't expect to do much. I will update daily with pictures and things that I am noticing. This is an Auto strain. I am a little worried about growing an Auto in this box. usually, I can control the growth utilizing the lights because I'm space limited. This time the plants going to flip to flower on its own. I'll need to make sure I am training and cropping early on. 11/24/23 - Day 18 - Everything is starting to get aggressive in there. I say that because the new nodes are growing out of new nodes on the top. It's like its packed full of plant and it all wants to come out at the same time. The leaves have more serrated Leafs than I have seen on any of the other strains I have grown. Ill post a picture of the last time I grew this strain. I did it in Coco Coir. It will be cool to see the differences. 11/25/23 - Day 19 - The Leaves are all reaching up, and the plant is growing so fast! Its such a bushy plant.
