Plants are getting close to harvest time White Widow will be first with the Blueberry ready for harvest a week after. Thc production on the white widow plant is insane the bud clusters are covered in trichromes.

Last week happened a lot. I Was looking forward for day 49, because it marked the last foliation day. I put away the scrog net ä, because i think i just let those girl the freedom they need. The sidebranches got thicker, and I think i just let them go from now on. This is the first time im really giving nutritions, and the difference is huge. These nugs are crazy. They are 3 weeks before harvest much bigger than These from my first grow. I also have some cal/mag issues on my strawberry Gorilla and my Red mimosa. Lets see if I can handle it. Day 53: i think the plants are struggeling with the high variation in temperature. its between 10 degrees and 28. but i cant move them into a heated building. at least i hope that the yield will be ok, and next grow will be under other circumstances.

This Blue Dream did not grow very big, probably because it did not grow much compared to what I think it should have done, so it did not put on much body but the flowers are exceptionally good. Thanks to a wise use of the hours of darkness and 48 hours and more in the pre-harvest phase of total darkness in the coolest part of the house with fans turned on. Resin of that kind that leaves the flowers seasoned if you make sure the darkness is good at the end. In summer not bad at all. ** We remind all users that we grow two plants per strain, one worked with specific techniques and the other left to grow freely this is a worked with main lining. She is much prettier than she was a week ago :) I remembered that I have my first grow light, which is more compact and it will give me more space, so I changed my light, now the girl's side branches get light too:) I add a lot of video memes, because I really want to win Iphone16 pro ;) and those who don't take risks don't drink champagne:) good luck to everyone.

Smooth sailing, not even into 2 weeks of flower and already throwing frost on the lowers and tops. Planning on moving the ladies, and staking some of the stalks to just get her to spread out a bit more when moved into the 3x3x6.5.

I did not add nutrients this week, but I did transplant to a 45 gallon pot and added more FFOF soil. There were strong winds reaching 38-40mph; no damage due to the wind. I did notice some damage on the leaves, but this was due to a soap solution I sprayed on the plants that was too strong combined with condensation and high temperatures. I am also being careful of controlling the caterpillar population. I don't tent or screen so I have to deal with all types of insects and issues outdoors throughout the year. I want to believe that the more natural the grow, the better the final product. Final comment this week is that plentiful watering during wind and heat storms goes a long way with the plant. She can take a lot if given the right nutrition and hydration. The smell is intensifying and the buds are starting to form. A long way still from harvest...about 16 to 18 weeks approximately. Getting several monarch butterflies visiting.

Hey hey my fellow growers, I hope everyone had an excellent week! It is great to be back here at the beginning of week six, let’s get into it! Last week I had misspoke- I said I was going to train 5 of the 6 plants I have going from fastbuds, this was false…. What I meant is all 6… Yes at the time I had only INTENDED on messing with 5 but the last one, the way it was structured with the self top, it was practically BEGGING me to get in there and play with it- and I ask you this- who would I be to deny that little strawberry pie the simple pleasure of a little training? So train I did… Nothing crazy, but actually for all six plants (despite my best efforts, best being debatable) to not go overboard- I have been going in a doing a little bit of training and taking a leaf off here and there if it’s blocking any potential bud sites. I am trying to be really careful and not do too much at once and upset any of them- but at the same time, after stunting them a bit with the taproot incident (which I will keep referring to until I learn from that mistake) I want to do what I can to maximize yield after tripping up a bit in the beginning. We will see how it goes, but for now, everything seems to be doing well and responding well to the bit of training I have been doing. Right now I am seeing a range of sizes among the bunch- the forbidden runtz are both shorter and squatier coming in at about 5.5 inches in height each and I notice everything is spaced a bit tighter on these so I have had some difficulty spreading them out but not to any problematic extent, just in comparison with the rest- Next we have the strawberry pie- the smaller one coming in at 5.5inches, is the one that I was speaking about that had topped itself. It seems to be doing well and handling the training just fine. However the other one, that one is much bigger and is about 8.5 inches tall. It wasn’t until I busted out the ruler that I saw that this was the second biggest plant of the fast buds. That leaves the largest which of course was the gorilla cookies! The smaller of the two is coming in at 8 inches and the larger one coming in at 9.5! They are both tied down and doing great, showing growth each day after being trained and having select leaves removed. We are getting closer and closer to flower I hope to have a bit more time with them but that is totally in their hands, so we will see what happens- the game plan now for me at this point is to keep doing what I’ve been doing- trying to balance on a delicate line. As far as other news… I am doing dishes the other day- I have my phone propped up with YouTube on and dude grows playing (my preferred way to do dishes) I hear the dude mention a giveaway they are doing that I had submitted an entry for recently so my ears had perked up…👀 I saw they had the contest page pulled up and on display and I thought to myself, wouldn’t it be cool if I got to see my picture right now, sure enough- I hear them start talking about my pictures! I in no way won (at this point, my fingers are crossed though haha) and I realize that this is debatably anticlimactic however, I listen to these guys everyday at work so I was stoked! I still am! At the beginning of the week I washed it with Clean, and throughout the week I gave it clean water. Visually, the harvest looks good, the buds are as dense as stones. 👉The daily routine of twice daily fertigation has given me a small insight as to what Phil Conners may have gone thru. There has been promising changes however that re-assure me that the plant is indeed maturing and will finish soon. The top leaves are starting to fade, and a couple of amber trichomes have been spotted! So far the amber color is light, almost yellow, and should darken up a bit by harvest time. At the rate they seem to be getting cloudy/milky I could be harvesting in as little as 3 days, but that is just wishful thinking I'm sure. I'm hoping no more than 10 more days. But I will let the plant decide...as long as there are only a few clears and the rest cloudy then I will harvest. 👉I took one small cola tip bud from an upper level, secondary branch. It weighed 30g with leaves, 10g trimmed and when dried to 20% should be 2g. I did this to be able to inspect the buds with a little more stability when using the USB scope. Those pix are the first 6 on this page. 👉Nutrient mix is the same recipe: week 11 on the General hydroponics flora series drain to waste chart. I reduced the concentration to 1ms from 1.3. The saturation level for the pot is averaging around 1lt per fertigation. I give it 2.5l at lights on, and 2L 1-2hrs before lights off. For some reason this grow session there is a persistent/prolific algea growth on the outside of the pot (cloth pot). I have the same fan setup Ive been using all year. It may be that when I didnt spray the pot off for a couple week the algea got a firm hold on the pot. I use a pressure sprayer with a H2O2 solution (1gallon water with 60ml h202) to spray off the exterior of the pot every couple days. THis keeps it at bay somewhat. After harvest I will cut open the cloth pot to see if the algea extends inside the pot any and if has affected the roots. 👉 While trichome hunting is very kewl if good pictures are taken, its very frustrating to get a decent pic due to any slight shake causes the pic to blur. When doing daily eye loop inspections I dont turn off the grow lights or fans. But when trying to get pix I turn off all the fans and both grow lights. This helps a little when trying to take pix with the USB scope.I have the small scope mounted on a tripod and that eliminate my own movement, but just trying to focus proves to be tedious because any touch causes the image to shake wildly, which results in very slow progress as I search around the plant and try for decent pix. Today I got a tube extension set for my 35mm DSLR. It turned my regular 55mm lens into a macro lens. While its not the same as a regular macro lense, its way cheaper....35$ for the tube set as opposed to 300$ for an actual macro lens. THe high resolution allows me to get sharp images with a deeper feild of focus than the scope. I still need lots of practice and need to work on lighting. I included some cropped and un-cropped macro shots done with the camera. The other macro shots are the USB scope. You can see its still got plenty of clear, lots of cloudy, and an amber here or there. The areas that I have touched have strands of resin that look almost like spider silk. SOOOOOO frosty! Santa is going to really enjoy his milk and cookies when he visits my house.
